Nope. Sorry, Home Depot will always be my go-to for home improvement. I placed a pickup order and silly me, thought I could just walk in and, you know, pick it up. Only after I'd stood in a long customer service line did I see the sign for pick up, and there's no actual pickup desk. There was a large cart blocking the passageway to walk around the corner where it's not obvious whatsoever what you are supposed to do, which is to scan the barcode you were provided (mine didn't work so I had to enter my phone number) then your name shows up on a screen along with whoever else is lost and waiting around for who knows what/who. Eventually a guy appeared as if from nowhere and after I explained that I already scanned my barcode asked me to do it again. But why? He accepted seeing my ID instead and released my item. If I hadn't really wanted the item I probably wouldn't come here. Also there was a man/customer screaming about something... he was not well, and while this isn't the store's fault, it seemed like he was reacting to an unhelpful employee (plausible). read more

Not only did my kitchen faucet spring a totally unexpected leak, the hand held sprayer part also had a crack in it. I came here to finally get the replacement kitchen faucet that I really wanted. I love that Lowe's really values military veterans. Being a military veteran myself, I always park in one of the veterans parking spaces right in front of the store, and I also have the veterans discount applied to all of my purchases. This Lowe's has a big free parking lot that is mostly used for its customers. All the employees I saw wore face masks. I'm not sure that staff here enforce mask wearing, but all customers that I saw in the store during this visit were wearing masks. I went to the back part of the store where they have an extremely large variety of faucets. I had been eyeballing one particular kitchen faucet since before the pandemic started, but, now, with my current faucet crapping out, I was determined to get the one I had chosen. All I had to do was find it on one of the nearby shelves. Nope, not there. Nope, not there, either. Uh oh! The inventory of the faucet I wanted was stored up high, way out of my reach, like 18 feet above the floor! I found a nearby employee who was very helpful. She asked which faucet I wanted and I showed her the floor sample. She then realized that the box with the faucet was waaaaay up high! She called for a much taller employee to assist her in getting the box down while she pushed a platform ladder into place for the other employee to use when he arrived. He arrived within 5 minutes, and got the box down for me. I thanked them for their help and went on my way. This store was clean, uncluttered and organized looking. Employees were easy to find and ask for help, and they were quick to provide assistance. Checking out was quick too! I'm so glad that this store has it together, and it's close to where I live! It took me about 30 minutes to install the faucet. Instructions were easy to follow, and I didn't have any issues. I think the kitchen faucet looks great! read more

Shame on you, Lowes! This store stole over $1,300.00 from my 80-year-old in-laws, and they will not refund the money. In 2021 my in-laws purchased a new kitchen range in store for delivery, and 2 weeks later, my father-in-law had a stroke. My mother-in-law had to postpone the delivery and eventually refused it. There was just too much going on, and my father-in-law's health was not good. Fast forward to 9/25/24, she updated us that she has never been refunded the money. When we learned about the run-around that Lowes had been giving her, I decided to take a crack at getting her money back. I can honestly say that never in my life have I encountered liars like the employees at this store, who are so inept at their jobs. I have spent weeks chasing them down after they have acknowledged they owe her this money. Oscar, the manager, avoids my calls and doesn't call me back. Two weeks ago, they told me "the check was in the mail," and two days ago, they said they were still waiting on a signature. My in-laws have suffered considerably because of the stroke, and they have financial restraints. The audacity of a company with profits like this to keep an elderly couple's money is absolutely disgusting. All this time, they have had to DO THE RIGHT THING.......... This is the second Home improvement challenge that I have been disappointed with. My local Lowe's cannot seem to get it right. After ordering online and believing everything was accurate, I received a call from the store to confirm my order. After going over the item and specifically telling the associate which item I wanted, the installer showed up with the wrong item. When he called the day of the delivery, I asked if he would insure the correct item was being delivered. When he arrived, it was the wrong item. I tried calling my local store to which I was frustrated with the telephone tree!! When I was finally connected to a human being, explained the error, Lauryn said she would check and get back to me. That did not happen until the following day at which time I had called the corporate office and given up and accepted the wrong delivered item. When Kay returned my call from the local store to follow up we discussed what had happened. She agreed to give me a 10% mark down. This issue is very last time I will use Lowe's for my home improvements. Two debacles with large dollar value projects is two too much!! Also, I will certainly advise family and friends to be very cautious using this Lowe's store. read more

Funny story... I went to Lowe's to get plywood for my new peloton bike. I needed a piece cut to fit under my bike since it's sitting on carpet and rocks slightly. I get to Lowe's and once I found someone to help me I give him the specs of how I'd like the plywood cut. He is very helpful and he attentive. I take the plywood on a cart up to the cashier and I realize after paying that it won't fit into my car. I'm standing at the cash register and I ask if I can go back to get it cut smaller. Yes, they say it's fine. I find the gentleman again. I joke with him that it won't fit in my car. He cuts it down smaller. He loads it back up on the cart and I head to my car. Another gentleman outside assists me with trying to get it into my car. Nope. It doesn't fit. I'm embarrassed now because I have to push the cart back inside and find the gentleman again. Back inside and I see him. He starts laughing and asks me what kind of car do I have. He cuts it down again and I head back outside. Yes! It fits in my car and I get home and it's a perfect size for my bike. I was pretty intimidated going into this huge warehouse to get plywood cut but I was well taken care of. The trouble came when I was trying to fit that blooming piece of wood in my car. First time in my life I regretted owning a compact! Fortunately, those gentlemen proved to be a) patient, b) understanding and c) resourceful. We finally managed to fit the wood in my little car with some tough cordage, and I got home safely - and so did the wood, which is now where it belongs. For helping me with such a challenge, this Lowe's and its people deserve a standing ovation. read more

I visited Lowe's for one thing in particular. I simply needed to have a small metal pipe cut. It was to my knowledge that they had machinery or a handsaw that they could use to cut this, but after being given the run around from 4 different associates, I realized that wasn't the case. I finally reached someone who seemed knowledgeable as to what I needed. He proceeded to tell me that they don't cut anything in store and that he had a saw I could buy that would cut it. The saw and base together was nearly $15. When I purchased and began to use it at home, I realized that the pieces that hold objects in place was NOT included in the packaging. I then had to go BACK to Lowe's to return the saw. Luckily, they returned it even though the packaging was destroyed. Overall, I'm sure Lowe's comes in handy with different homing needs, but for this visit, they dropped the ball. read more

I did an online order that gave me a date for pickup. On the day of pick up no one contacted me regarding the delay. I called for 2 days trying to get updates. I spoke to a manager (not sure of name and he offered 10% off for the delay. I asked for more and he was done with me and the call and stated I had to call the 800 number. The 800 number stated they would give me only 10% off and only after I received my order, but I had to call them again to beg for it. Once the order was in the store no one contacted me. When I called the store, I was told receiving left for the day. The day after tracking showed it was delivered to them, I called in yet again. After calling in multiple times I was on hold over an hour with no help. I then called back in and spoke to Teresa who was so helpful. She asked Larry ( believe his name), stated it did not matter that it was delivered the day before, it was not unloaded and that I would get a notification when ready. Not sure if he knew I could hear him in the background. I asked her to get her manager which was David, I believe and he was able to locate my order and have it ready for my pickup. I expressed that I could have gone to a competitor if I would have known they do business like this. I was on a time constraint for my project and looks like no one other than two people cared. The young lady who ad me on hold for a long time is the one in the store who completed my order when I picked it up...mentioned my discount and never took it off. read more

NEVER buy any appliance from Lowe's!! I was at this store 8/27/2019 (Tues)and bought a LG dishwasher. I paid for the appliance, delivery, installation and haul away and was told the delivery was scheduled on 8/30 (Fri). I was also told the day before the delivery, the installation/delivery company would contact me. On 8/29 evening, one day before the actual delivery, I was getting worried why I have not received any call/ text about my dishwasher. I called the same store off Peachtree Industrial. The staff*** at the appliance department told me someone would call me at night since the installation/delivery would then know their schedule and delivery for the next day. Of course, no one called me. On Friday morning I called the store again. I was transferred to Appliance department but no one picked up the phone. I called the Lowe's corporate hot line and explained my situation. She called the store and managed to speak to a manager and he physically walked to the Appliance area and then found out the only unit sold to me was damaged. Seriously?? ***That meant the staff whom I spoke to on 8/29 was just basically tried to get me off the phone. Basically he did not even check on the status cos if he really did, he would know my dishwasher was a damaged one and not even picked up by the installation/delivery company. So I was told the store has reordered the dishwasher and would arrive at the store the following Wednesday. I received a call from AGS installation that same week Thursday that they could deliver and install the dishwasher the following week on 9/10 (tues). I was waiting at home on 9/10 during the time frame the company had stated but only to receive a call from them saying the installer's truck broke down. They have to reschedule the delivery and installation till a week plus later. By this time I had it enough. I was completely in distraught. What was wrong with these people???? Lowe's the evil monster here. They were so irresponsible after selling and receiving a payment from a customer and it still would be their fault to contract out the delivery/installation to a 3rd grade company. I was so upset, I started called Amex to let them know about this as I wanted to cancel the order. I called Lowe's and of cos nobody picked up the phone at the appliance department!! These people were the worst!!! I called the Lowe's 800 number again and told the staff what happened. She promised she would get in touch with the store and helped to cancel my order. She told me she managed to speak to a Derrick (or something like that) and he was the one who sold me the dishwasher plus he did not know "something went wrong". That was bull! First, he was not the one who sold me the dishwasher. 2) I believe he was the one who tried to "assure" me I would get my dishwasher on the scheduled date. So there was lots of bull crap there. The staff at the Lowe's 800 line apologized to me and helped me cancel my order. I went out that evening to Best Buy and bought the same dishwasher. What was I thinking??? I bought my washer and dryer from Best Buy years back and I never encounter any problem. I received the dishwasher from Best Buy less than a week later. Moving forward, I would not buy a single thing from Lowe's. Best Buy becomes my #1 place to buy my appliances. Why can't I leave a zero star for this Lowe's review??? I drove to this store to get a piece of glass cut after being told the glass cutting machine was out of order at the previous Lowe's. I went to. I got to the store and quickly found somebody to cut the glass, but as the associate was wrapping the glass, he didn't have any tape and asked me if I could just take the glass loosely wrapped in a piece of paper. I told the associate that the glass would just fall out of the paper because the paper was just torn roughly and really almost torn into pieces. So then magically, the person found a piece of tape and taped up the glass in some paper, although it was haphazardly done. I walked to the register in the lumber section and there were somebody checking out a large order and I was right behind them in line. I looked over at the pro desk where no one was located except the person that worked at the store that was deeply involved their own phone and not helping any customers. So I asked that person if they could check me out so I could buy the piece of glass from them. this associate informed me that he was not logged into the register and could not check me out. I asked if he could log into the register to check me out and he stated that he could not. So then I went to the self checkout. I visited two Lowe's stores today and have never seen such horrible customer service in a Lowe's as I saw today. Shame on you Lowe's. read more

If I could give them a zero star I would. I have been to 3 different Lowe's locations looking to have glass cut. Each one - including this one says the same thing - they have the size I need. When I get there it's a different story. When I went in store I asked an employee where the cutters were located and she pointed to the back. I was then told by the store that their blade doesn't work AFTER I called BEFOREHAND and drove 20 mins to this location. I will be following up with a formal complaint. My husband and I decided to do a kitchen renovation through Lowes. While we have loved working with our designer virtually, actually getting the local store to help with just about anything has been nonexistent. We went with Diamond Express cabinets as they are in stock for quick ship and could help us complete our project in a timely fashion. This was super important as I am almost 6 months pregnant and can't afford a prolonged project. The first round of cabinets came in, filling our entire house, along with the new appliances. On the day of demo and install we discovered the sink base was damaged and so was an upper cabinet. Therefore demo and install couldn't happen. We quickly reordered these two pieces which obviously delayed our project. Well, the two replacements come in and we unpack them ourselves to check for damage. The sink base showed signs of possible structural integrity but thankfully when we talked through it with the designer she felt the install could still happen. While that was good news, my designer and I talked about the fact that it's not ok that a second round of cabinets came in not to expectations. With me being pregnant and our house being a storage facility for two months now she put me in contact with the local store to express our concerns over the quality of the cabinets. I have been trying to get ahold of the manager Charles for 5 days now. When he's supposed to be in I call and he's now not there for the day. I've left messages, tried to speak with the ASMs instead with no answer and no call back. So top of my already stressful kitchen project and living situation I'm now also stressed trying constantly to get in touch with anyone who can help me at this location. Everyone knows stress is great for pregnancy! I work in home furnishings and we understand that things happen. But not twice, and especially not without constant communication and a solution to the problem. I'm so frustrated with this whole experience. And on top of that, we put the entire project on our lowes credit card so now they have all of our money and can take all of the time in the world! Lesson learned for any future home projects. My Wife and I purchased a new gas stove and we were told it would be delivered Thursday, March 30 between 12;00 Noon and 5:00PM. We cancelled all other plans and waited and waited. Around 5:00 PM my wife called and was told that it was sent to the Stone Mountain store, she called and was put on hold and no one ever picked up so we went to the Stone Mountain Store and after waiting over an hour we were told it would be delivered Next Thursday, April 6. If someone at Lowe's would have given us our stove I would have carried it home and installed it myself, but they would not so I will be shopping for a stove somewhere else. read more

WHY would I shop someplace who treats me like I am bothering them when help is needed? There were no smiles, no THANK YOU's, but the paint guy was quick to shrug his shoulders (several times) with a grimace (Go F$#^ yourself) look when I asked him & even showed him a picture of the paint I needed, he certainly never offerred to try and match it. And that was it for me. I don't need to spend my hard earned cash someplace when it goes towards the salaries of rude & disrespectful employees. I would much rather go someplace else and even pay more for same or similar product before I go back to Lowes again. On a Saturday in the spring, 1 register open inside, 1 outside and a few self check out registers all with huge lines is frustrating. One check out lady opened a line for us then proceeded to ask us if we took a photo of the UPC for retaining wall stone we were purchasing.... then she took her time looking it up in UPC book and couldn't locate it. In the mean time, my husband found it on their website as I ran back to the aisle/bay to take a photo. Customer service just isn't there at the check out end. When we get a notification saying that our order is ready, it's at a totally different location on the other side of town. We have gone to the lowes in person for items and used the website as a reference to what aisle the items are in only to discover that the location of the item and the website description are totally off, leading us on a wild goose chase throughout a humongous store. We have asked for assistance from store associates and every time we have received completely rude responses or have been told that they are too busy to help us. I'll save you the time of reading this and recommend you go to Home Depot. This place is chaos. No one competent works here and many times you cannot tell who works here. The customer service desk is staffed with people who constantly check their personal devices in front of you and don't update you with what they're doing so you feel like they're ignoring you when you ask for help. Several of the departments are managed by a rotating staff who have no professional knowledge of that area and will blame the person on the previous or following shift for messing up any orders. You could run through all the aisles and find what you need in less time than it takes to find help with a real person. Right now, I am trying to pick up any special order and the girl (no lady in a professional work place speaks to customers with a lack of concern) and has asked three people to pick up the item and had asked me three times to confirm what the item is. On the last attempt, it appeared that she was flirting with one of her coworkers. This is unacceptable. If you have a store to serve customers, serve them in the most professional manner. This means you are kind and courteous and most important of all, focused on making sure the customers needs are satisfied. Don't go here unless Home Depot or Ace Hardware is closed and this is your last resort for hardware needs. read more

Again, the worst experience ever. I called to have them refund the amount owed for a broken washer they delivered on Tuesday and finally picked up the following Sunday. I returned the washer, therefore, I just needed a refund so that I can purchase from another location. The person that initially answered provided good customer service. She was patient and attempted to assist me however she was unable to pull the receipt in her system, therefore, she had to transfer me to Antonio. She transferred me...no answer and I sat on hold for about 10 minutes. I called back and did the whole spill a second time, transferred to the same number that rang excessively with no answer. I called again and was put on hold and was asked five (5) times who I was holding for and what I needed. Once Marcus (store manager) came to the phone things started to look up. He said he would have to call me back in 5 minutes but assured me he would assist me. Marcus called back and resolved the issue. It is my opinion that this Lowes location is in need of new and better employees. It's time to trim the fat. read more

But if you need to replace a mechanics wrench by Craftsman that has a lifetime warranty and you do not have a purchase receipt, then don't bother going to this store. The employees at the customer service desk said that their manager told them to no longer honor the lifetime warranty of Craftsman tools without a receipt. The manager was not available so I could not confirm this. And I could not find any clear information on the Lowes(dot)com website from my smartphone regarding this. I purchased the tool from Sears 25 to 30 years ago! Who keeps purchase receipts for that long? So I had to contact Craftsman directly to get a replacement. read more

As a first homeowner, I had NO idea what I was doing. After different advice from multiple sources (ok, mom and dad), I ended up at Lowes after doing some shopping online and comparing brands, quality and costs across the board. I wandered into the Lowes appliances section, which is on the far left side of the store, which was to my dismay, since I came in through the far right entrance. The washers and dryers are displayed in a large open area. After wandering around for 5-10 minutes and no one walked up to offer any assistance, I ended up approaching the two guys sitting around chatting at the appliances service area. One jumped up to help me. Joel was very helpful and gave me his opinion on best brands within my budget. I ended up getting a Samsung washer and dryer, with the proposed 20% off the slightly scuffed washer. There was also a 10% off discount that week, free one-day home delivery and installation. At the register, I used my newly approved Lowes credit card to receive 5% off my purchase. The next day, an automated message called me to announce the delivery appointment time for the following morning. The delivery guys came within the first hour of the 2 hour time frame and installed it before the 9-11am time frame ended. I was very satisfied with their efficiency and their promise to deliver on time. Overall, Lowes was a solid choice. I can't say it's the best since I have nothing to compare it to. However, you can't go wrong with an appliance purchase from Lowes. read more
