I've had a key cut by another Lowes and Home Depot. Both were cut incorrectly and I couldn't lock the door. It was Sunday and no professional locksmiths were open. I took a chance and went to this Lowe's. I explained the situation to the man who cuts keys. He told me that they have a new machines that uses a laser to measure the key and get a more precise cut. I got two keys made and they work perfectly! No sticking or other problems. Thanks! read more

Like any other Lowe's as far as setup and products offered. This store also has a very friendly and helpful staff. I was surprised that there was no self checkout lanes; however, they had plenty of registers open and we all moved through quickly to the exit. Too bad zero stars is not an option. If you want to keep your sanity and don't waist money AVOID this place. Starting from Nancy at Pro Desk - after spending over 20K in home remodel you think they would at least keep track of the special orders: NOPE!! Instead i received custom drawers from a kitchen It's not mine. Or even worse, after other 2 weeks waiting for the products that were ordered 4 weeks before that, she sent a smaller version and thought i was not going to notice. Well, she the tells me I need to go back there make a return (for something I did not order) and then pay again so she can now order the right product(???!!) Trying to keep calm during the remodel, I went ahead and pay again and order again the same product. Well, getting back home I get a call from Lowe's saying my special order just arrived (??!!) My husband goes there after work and nobody knows where the order is. After half hour, Nancy gives him the same wrong order I just returned!?! After 4 people looking, they found my original order from 4 weeks ago there for 3 weeks!! The manager Carmine then tells my husband that he has no excuse but there's nothing he can do! That's just how things are(?!) WTH?? No things are not suppose to be like that... Well then it gets worse. The lawnmower we ordered online was finally delivered NOT working, the battery was completely dead. Apparently there are the ones putting the lawnmower together and God knows how long they keep the battery on before someone buys them! Another thing: our "brand new" lawnmower started leaking in our garage at night. We woke up with the house reeking gas. The garage floor is now completely damaged as well. Today and we got the replacement AND the battery is dead as well. God knows how they put these things together. The delivery guy came back to take it back to the store. After getting there, again the manage Carmine says there's nothing he can do! I ask if at least of we found a better deal online for the other brand if he could match the price, he said NO. However, while waiting for the return, we read in huge letters: Price Match Guarantee where they will beat the found price with extra 10% off!!! So clearly he had no desire to make it right. Anyways, we now found the new Lowe's in Tarpon Springs where The employees are amazing and really care about their customers. Sorry about the long review. But if you are thinking in spending a lot of money in your home remodel, go to a place that will actually appreciate your business! read more

I really do love this place and I am here multiple times a month as, as far as I'm concerned, something can always be made better. Their 'house' paint brand is great and has great coverage. The counter staff is always very friendly. Their gardening center has everything you could wish for and more for lawn maintenance and a very knowledgeable staff. They have every size of nut, bolt, hinge, pipe, chain, drill bit. . . I could go on. But let me sum it up by saying, they have everything. read more

This is my local Lowe's, and after shopping at Lowe's in NC for a few decades, it's nice to have one so close. Service and selection has been excellent, and scored a great deal on a kitchen's worth of appliances here on Black Friday (which they said is their best day of the year for appliance deals). This store sucks the last couple months I have had to go here a lot because of remodeling our home it is so hot it's in unbearable! It's colder outside than indoors and that's saying A lot! The last 3 times just this past 2weeks I wanted to go buy all of my new appliances, toilets, blinds, paint, lighting etc... I wanted to do it in just one stop but because it was so blasted hot I could only do 1 dept and I would have to leave even then I didn't finish getting what I needed. The employees are hot so they are cranky and it's made me leave and go to Home Depot several times just so I don't have to suffer! I prefer Lowe's so that's saying A lot too! In general, Lowe's normally provides very good customer service. I have always been happy w their stores and store personnel BUT I will say this particular store- stay away!!! If you have to deal w their customer service personnel- you will have the worst experience of your life at a retail store. It seems everyone is on different pages, contradicting communication, and just plain rude. One employee specifically more than the others but there are a couple who are always rude. read more

This store is poorly staffed - if you order online, the item is not available because they "only have a tiny space for it" per Desiree at customer service. Calling all the customers "honey" "dear" etc does not help whatsoever. I've been standing here waiting over fifteen minutes. Let me get this straight first, the people working at Lowe's are wonderful. It's the corporate office that I have a concern with. They deducted two identical $538 payoff amounts from my checking account and once I've contacted them about their error and to get reimbursed they said they don't reimburse immediately that they could send me a check in 5 to 15 days or give me a $538 credit on my account. People that are quick to take your money and slow to return it once they have made an error I won't deal with I had them close my account. Consumer beware! read more

Purchased two windows at this location a while back. When I asked for help loading the windows in my pickup, I was told they were too heavy, and nobody could help me. Customer in parking lot saw me struggle, and he came over to help. I would expect a bit of assistance from their employees, but I guess not. Won't be back to this store. Waited by the saw for 5 minutes before heading to the pro service desk to get help. 3 employees sitting there doing nothing but BSing. Asked for assistance and was the response was uh...yeah we can get somebody for you. They called out on the intercom for someone to come help. 15 minutes later still no one. Last year I bought a standard Valspar paint color here 4 times and got four different colors. Somebody don't know what they're doing Once they even handed it to me in a can of Olympic paint. When I took it back and asked a guy how they could do that he says, oh we do that all the time. And a guy at the keyboard says he's trying to give me the Valspar paint but the computer won't let him do it. He tells everyone the computer is making him use Olympic. Then he gets frustrated, takes off his apron, gives it to a coworker and says he's taking a break. I finally got a color at Home Depot. I had to do my job four times. I still go here a lot though. The rest of the store is fine. There's plenty of helpful and pleasant people around and It's closer than Home Depot read more

I love Lowe's in general but about my experience during the Coronavirus situation... I ordered an item for pick-up thinking I'd do the responsible thing and maintain social distance. What a mistake, the store pick-up line was the same as the returns line. The line was out the door but everyone tried to stay 6 feet apart until one man decided he wasn't going to wait outside with the rest of us to return his plastic tubing and stood right next to another man returning some PVC pipe. PVC guy then threatened to call the police, there was some cursing and F- bombs and general consternation. Once inside I stood right next to several customers also making returns. PLEASE, some common sense here Clearwater Lowe's and put the pick up area away from the returns or maybe even stop returns while the Covid-19 pandemic continues. read more

I had an order for $20,000 worth of custom windows and sliding doors in June 2015. To say that my experience was a nightmare doesn't begin to describe it. Every possible thing that could have gone wrong, went wrong....twice, and on some items three times. Measurements, which were done both by the sales person and then again by the installer to confirm wound up wrong. Windows that were suposed to be clear glass cam as frosted glass. A slider that was supposed to have blinds between the panes of glass came without blinds, and then, upon re order, came with blinds, but they sent two left doors and no right door. Windows that were mis- measured, were reordered and came a second time with the same incorrect measurements. Sliding glass doors were measured incorrectly, re measured and then the new doors wound up the same size as the original ( wrong) order. Each time an item was re-ordered, it added about a month to the process. The chain of communication in this store from the manager to the assistants to the customer service people to the sub contractors was non existent. I had to repeat my stories to 2, 3 and sometimes 4 different people. It's hard to believe that a major corporation could possibly have a store that functions this poorly. This summary doesn't begin to do this story justice. In the end, over a year after ordering and paying for these items, I got them all installed correctly. To this day, I still never got little white covers to go over the screws which hold the sliders onto the walls. Lowes, as acknowledgment and apology for the extreme poor experience wound up refunding me a total of $6000 on this order. That refund was the only part of my experience that was positive. Had install done new double kitchen sink. Plumber was cranky and annoyed as it was more difficult. His own company came to check and photo the pipe layout under the sink first. I was as nice as was possible. Now a few months go by to discover the under sink pipe was cut too short.A rubber gasket was incorrectly placed, lines were not tight and with pressure from water I now have a leak. Poor service. We found Lowes to be a huge disappointment...we had a sewer back up at our home .. All floors and the entire bathroom had to be torn out. We made the mistake of believing that Lowes sells quality merchandise..WRONG!!! Our contractor purchased ALL of the tiles for our new bathroom , from Lowes.. Tile guys came Saturday to install the new tiles... 6x6 " tiles... some were finished on all 4 sides... some were cut out of larger tiles to make 6" tiles... all different sizes.. nothing matched up... They will be returned and GOOD TILES have to be ordered from a reputable tile business... This will take an additional 2 weeks just to get the tiles! We have lived in a hotel since April 30, 2017.. It's now July! Thieves have stolen things fro our yard in Dunedin because we weren't home.. we were in a crappy hotel! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Thanks Lowes for being a retailer of SECONDS! read more

HORRIBLE customer service at this store and with what appears to be LOWES return policy. I bought a gas lawnmower 60 days ago, never opened the box. Finally convinced the wife that a battery mover would be better choice, went to return the mower, was told "sorry no returns on lawn mowers after 30 days". At the time we purchased the mower the sales person told us specifically that we have 90 days to return the mower unused if we we decided to go with a battery based mower, so we made the purchase. When we asked for a manager, he was not only snippy in advising us that LOWES has a 30 day return policy on mowers, but then claimed that there were numerous large signs advising customers of such policy in the sales area, as if we were just stupid. Needless to say, we took pictures of the fact that NOT ONE sign was posted ANYWHERE in 3 aisles of such tools, let alone large and visible ones, announcing this exception to the general return policy. When I got the same manager and showed this to him, he was unconcerned, shrugging his shoulders, saying "well thats our policy - my hands are tied" pretending to ask some floor workers if someone took down the signs,you know the ones that hadn't been there for SIXTY DAYS. Well.....guess what, mine hand are not tied and neither is my wallet tethered to LOWES. I will NEVER shop at LOWES again. Fortunately, everywhere there is a LOWES, there is also a HOME DEPOT. I know for fact that HOME DEPOT would have taken the return and at least offered a store credit and LOWES just earned HOME DEPOT my business from this point forward. Since I just spent about $10,000.00 in home improvement purchases over the past 4 months I am sure that HOME DEPOT will appreciate LOWES effort to become a marketing tool for HOME DEPOT. Where LOWES could have kept a customer and made a more expensive sale, they chose to drive a good customer away - good job LOWES. read more

We ordered a bathroom vanity and mirror, on line, over 2 weeks ago. When We ordered it we were told it would be here on July 28. We had notification that it was shipped on the 24 th. On the 29th the order said it was ready for pick up. We rented a van, when we got to Lowe's they said it wasn't there and offered no help locating it or finding a delivery date. When we asked about the order saying it was ready for pick up, she said they all say that but it doesn't mean it's actually in the store. A second time received notification it was shipped on July 31' but it didn't state where it was shipped from. Saturday Aug. 5 my husband called they said it wasn't there and they didn't know where it was, nor could they give a delivery date. So Lowe's has no way of tracking their merchandise?? REALLY?? I phoned this Lowe's store before arriving ... was on Hold for over 40 minutes. Finally, a lady in "Customer Service" answered, I said that I would like to cancel a purchase which I paid for the previous day. ..., immediately, I was placed on Hold (again) 17 minutes later, While still being on Hold, I figured that I would just drive down to the Store (still on hold on my Cell Phone). During driving, a Lowe's employee picked up and disconnected/hung-up the phone. After I arrived, I walked over to Custer Service, and of course there were 4 Ladies in Customer Service doing not but talking among themselves. I walked over to the Counter asking could I please get some service. Head Cashier Sarah, was customer service unfriendly ... not even a "Hello" acknowledgement ... I said to her that I want to cancel purchase that my G-Friend had made the day earlier, Over $5000 for Appliances, which we feel that she was pressure sold into by the dishonest lady in appliances the day before. Sarah needs to be re-trained in how to give proper Customer Service. If there was a negative Star to select from, that would be the Star that I would have chosen. We recently bought a washer at Lowe's on a Sunday, and scheduled delivery for Friday. Paid for new hoses so they could hook it up, and paid to have the old washer taken away. Were told their delivery contractor "XPO" would call the day before with a 4-hour window for delivery, which they did, saying they'd be there between 3:30 and 7:30 (there went plans to go out to dinner). Also said the delivery guy would call when he was 30 minutes out. That didn't happen - he called at 6:45 saying he was 5 minutes away. After he arrived, I had to ask him to repeat himself 3 times (heavy Hispanic accent) before I could understand that he was saying it was "drop off only" - he wasn't going to take the old washer or hook up the new one. I told him in that case he could go on home. He didn't apologize, just turned around and walked back to the truck and left. (I should have asked to see his paperwork or showed him our receipt, but was so mad didn't think of it). Called Lowe's, and they said to call XPO. Called XPO, explained to the lady what had happened, and she said she'd look into it and call me back. A few minutes later she called, apologized profusely, said she'd give us a $25 gift card (taken out of the delivery guy's pay), and rescheduled delivery for Sunday. She promised it would be a different delivery guy. Again, they were to call the night before (Saturday) with a 4-hour window. By 7:30 Saturday night, having not gotten a call, I called XPO and first got a recording which said there was no record of our order. Got a live person on the phone, and she said the only delivery date she showed was Friday, the day before. She transferred me to what turned out to be Lowe's customer service. By this time, we were in the car headed to Lowe's. We were inside the store by the time someone finally came on the line. I explained the situation to her, and she said I needed to speak to a manager and put me on hold. The call went dead with no one ever coming back on the phone. We went straight to the customer service counter and cancelled the order. The next day (Sunday) we went to Famous Tate, bought a different brand washer (plus hoses and take-away), and scheduled delivery for Friday. Even though the washer was about $50 higher than the one at Lowe's and we lost the Lowe's credit card 5% discount, it was well worth the extra $$. Famous Tate said they'd call by 9am the day of delivery with the 2-hr (not 4-hr) window. As promised, they called at 7:45, and said the 2-hr window was between 10 and 12. They showed up at 10:40, and within 20 minutes had the old washer out and the new one hooked up. Not only did he hook it up, he started a cycle just to make sure it was working properly. Very friendly, professional and efficient. It was a difference of night and day between Lowe's and Famous Tate! From now on, if we can't carry it out of the store ourselves, we will never again buy anything at Lowe's that has to be delivered and installed. read more

I have a delivery scheduled for today and the truck literally has to pass by my house to start its route and I'm the last delivery. They routed and packed the truck to go to the furthest delivery first. When Lowes called to set the delivery date two days ago I asked to be a first delivery since the store is literally 5 minutes away. I have always liked this store until recently when I have had to deal with customer service. I bought a instant pop up gazebo and brought it home and it was bent up and parts in a lowes plastic bag. Apparently it was a return and they just put it back to sell it without inspecting it first. I took it back and they had one more so I opened it in front of customer service and it was also a return that had been put back to sell as new. A simple "sorry for your trouble" would have been nice but they just did the refund and said there ya go. read more

Even worse I was overcharged and still have not taken delivery 1 week late. The employees at this lowes are very disrespectful and unwilling to help. You literally have to wander around the store to find someone because they're al hiding or something. Then when you find someone to help they make you feel like your bothering them. Customer service people are always very nice though. Being in charge of a maintenance dept. of a 234 unit beach condo, we spend several thousand dollars a month on material and supplies mostly at this store. The service has never been impressive, but they are about a mile closer than Home Depot. Today they gave me all the reasons to drive the extra mile. When entering the check out with a cart full of electrical supplies, the cashier was dealing with a customer ahead of me on a special order and didn't really no how to handle it. After waiting more than I should have to, the next cashier directed me over. As I headed over another customer with a large order slipped in ahead of me. Instead of the cashier telling him that I was next, she proceeded to check him out. She then asked the head cashier to take me, but she was to busy on her phone. At that point I asked to see a manager and he was called to see me. While waiting on him the head cashier opened another lane and still took other people ahead of me. When the manager came as I expressed my anger he actually rolled his eyes. I said my piece and let him no that I and my company no longer had any reason to return to Lowes in the future and headed out the door and stopped to point out the cashier that was the main cause of this he said that my pointing at her was disrespectful and that I was no longer welcome in "his store". I guess he didn't hear the part when I told him that we wouldn't be returning there. My staff has now been informed that we will no longer authorize any purchases at any Lowes stores. I would have thought that the manager would know that they need our money more than we need them. As I said. Home Depot is only a mile further down the road. read more

You sold me a washer and dryer. You charged my credit card and scheduled an install appt. I received a call the night before the installation with a range of time. It was to be somewhere between 8:30 and 12:30. 12:30 came and went. I called the installation company and they said that Lowes canceled the order due to payment failure. This was impossible as the card has no preset limit, no balance and is always paid off completely. I called the store and asked what was going on. She said "You" (meaning me) must have done something with my card between the time I purchased at the register and when they actually charged the card. I did not. She said she would need to transfer me. I was transferred. Spent 20 minutes on hold and then someone picked up the line and then immediately hung up. I rushed to the store. Very angry at this point. I explained the situation with someone identified as a supervisor named Mike. The associate Desiree said that this has been happening lately that they were erroneously canceling orders in the "warehouse" for some reason. Mike shrugged his shoulders and looked at me and said "we can get it out to you tomorrow if you still want it?" No apology, no explaniation. I took the day off from work. I had plans for the newly scheduled day as it is New Years Eve. I let mike know my displeasure. He then smirked and said "ok, well we are sorry. Do you still want it" I was pretty pissed as his overall lack of situational awareness about how bad of service this all around experience was. He offered me 10% discount on just the appliances. I had no expectations that you would make me whole of taking the day off. I probably would have been fine with the 10% and a sincere apology. But this whole situation was a disgrace. I only had the day off for New Years and could not start over with a new company such as home deport so I begrudgingly paid for the washer and dryer, again and plan on getting the install today. This location is fairly hit or miss with what's in stock. I typically find myself ordering on lowes.com and shipping to the store. I've also ran into issues with that. I've done a couple remodels to my home and had parts on order. I've called to check to see if the items were in yet in accordance with the delivery date lowes gave me. They would tell me no it looks like it's delayed. I would wait a week and call back and they would say yea it's been here for a week or so. Failed to call me. Failed to follow up. Very poor system. I have half done projects awaiting completion and you're just sitting on my items. Very very irritating if this was a one off instance but it was a handful of times. Needless to say if lowes doesn't have it in stock I just don't order it from them and see if Home Depot has it. We purchased 4 new Whirlpool appliances. We had many problems with this store: 1.when we cashed out we were not given the instant rebate; 2.took to long to process a price adj at customer service; 3.The Lowes national rebate was rejected because the store reversed the first transaction - had to call and reprocess rebate; 4.It took customer service @ 1 hr to cancel the installation part of our purchase several weeks later - the second Mgr gave us a discount for inconveniences; 5.range was delivered damaged - had to stay home for the second delivery; 5.the dishwasher was not working properly - the store scheduled repair for a Sat - I stayed home but at 11:30 i called Lowes and was told their subcontractor was Closed; 6. tried to schedule two more repairs but it was not convenient for the subcontractor; 7. Lowes called and said a sub would be there on Fri between 3 & 6. - within an hour i got another call from another Lowes sub indicating he would repair the dishwasher between 8-10 am. 8.Store staff called me to obtain contact info for first sub?? Store staff called back - they cancelled Both!!! repairs and wanted to reschedule it 4 days later! 9. I called Lowes national customer service for relief and asked for the Regional Mgr to intervene - he did not.; 10. I removed the defective dishwasher myself - returned it to the store - obtained another dishwasher and installed myself - its working fine. I wasted a substantial amount of time dealing with this store - I will not be returning. read more
