I felt compelled to write this review because this was a real and incredibly frustrating experience. We ordered carpet from Lowe's and waited three weeks for the scheduled installation. On the day of installation, we were shocked to learn that Keller, the company contracted to install the carpet, had mistakenly installed our carpet in someone else's home. Instead of receiving the service we had patiently waited for, we were told we would need to wait several more weeks for replacement carpet and a new installation date. Over the next three weeks, I made numerous phone calls seeking updates and trying to secure a new installation appointment. The process involved constant back-and-forth communication, delays, and a lack of clear answers. What should have been a straightforward installation turned into a stressful and time-consuming ordeal. After six weeks of waiting, countless phone calls, and repeated frustration, we finally received a new installation date. While mistakes can happen, the way this situation was handled left much to be desired. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency caused significant inconvenience and disappointment. read more

I was in the area visiting friends and they needed a new smoke alarm, so we all went to this Lowe's to check on the options. I helped them by getting on the mobile app and finding out the brands and prices as well as the aisle where the smoke alarms were. My friends were able to quickly pinpoint on the one they wanted and I was happy to be able to help out on the preliminary research task. Staff here seemed very friendly and hard working. read more

This is my third time in this store in the last 2-3 months. EVERY TIME there are no people assist . If you find anyone, they literally walk away with you standing there saying it's not their dept and they have to call someone . Just stood at the paint counter and guy literally handed shaken paint to someone then ignored me for like 5-10 min. Then he walks off saying he'll call someone . Stood there another 20 min and NO ONE came after I flagged down an elderly gentleman who also called . Ridiculous ! Lowe's at this location acts like it doesn't wanna make money . Well.....you will not get another penny of mine ! Horrible horrible customer service EVERY time I'm here . I'll stick with Home Depot ! They MUST have poor management cause too many of these reviews say the same thing ....poor customer service and no one knows anything . My experience--just unresponsive !!! read more

I had a very disappointing experience at the Turtle Creek Coral Springs Lowe's, primarily due to the way a pricing issue was handled by the store manager, Lamont. I went in requesting a price adjustment after an item I purchased dropped significantly in price less than a day later and was listed for much less on Lowe's own website. Instead of receiving help or a clear explanation, I was met with a rude, dismissive attitude. The manager refused to honor the online price, applied policies inconsistently, and made no effort to resolve the issue. What should have been a simple customer service matter turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I purchases a freezer from this store and paid for a 5 year extended warranty. Freezer died after just 4 months. It has been just over 2 weeks and no one has come to service the freezer. I keep getting notices that say someone is going to call me today and no call. They have called twice asking if the service tech has called me. All the food has been lost now. They say I have 300 towards food if it dies and both claims have been denied. Will not be buying appliances from Lowe's in the future as you can't get help when needed. read more

So we are remodeling a condo. We met Maria in the bathroom vanity area. This is close the end of the project. Maria is as so helpful and went the extra mile. We bought two vanities, sink for kitchen and two sets of facets. We came back the next week because of Maria. We went to the door area and no one was there. We found someone and guess who showed up...Maria!! She helps us but $2k in bi-fold doors. Lowe's you have a super star that had only been in there since April. Treat her well. I've spent $60k with this Lowe's over the past year...I'm loyal I guess. I walked in to buy a dryer. The appliance salesperson, a 60+ man with long gray hair in a ponytail was absolutely the worst. I asked for a price on a scratch and dent. He said indifferently "the guy that can get a price on that won't be here till tomorrow". I found a manager who called him. Mr gray ponytail lied told the manager that dryer I was asking about was a display and not for sale. We desperately needed a dryer...and chose another in-stock one. We asked him to retrieve it for us. He said, "we don't have stock...we get dryers from our warehouse". We showed him his website showed he had 2 in stock. He lied and said he checked and had none. We were so angry we sought a manager who confirmed he had 2 in stock, but the salesman was probably too lazy to move some boxes that were in front of it. He summoned a nice young man who happily retreived our dryer in less than 5 minutes. I confronted the appliance associate who happened to be in a personal conversation with another Lowe's employee in the front of the store. I said, "we bought the dryer you said you didn't have. Thanks for a terrible experience". All I can say is if we don't speak up and fire these lazy good-for-nothing a@@holes, your store will not survive. There are enough good Associated that gave a great experience IN SPITE OF HIM that I'll be back...but he is such a poor example of humanity today...please show him the door! read more

I came in looking for spray praint for a outside project im doing. I didnt get the gentlemans name that helped me but he was very knowledgable and helpful in helping me find exactly what i was looking for. As for the checkout it went smoothly. I did self check out and the women that was assisting at the registers were very nice. It says alot when companies hire friendly people it makes the sjopping experience remerable. We usually go to the Lowe's on the east side -- the one at the Pompano Citi Center -- but we were on the west side of town and this was the closest location. The outside lot is large and there was plenty of parking even though they were quite busy and full of cars. Inside the store, everything was neat and clean. The aisles were clearly marked to say what type of products they contained. We were able to find the section we needed without too much trouble. Although I always get extra walking steps in -- as it's a pretty big store and categories are spread out. They have so many things here -- electrical, plumbing, plants, appliances, hardware, tools, etc etc etc. -- for every home project or repair. Checking out /paying was pdq easy, too. And it's nice that they give a veteran's discount (although you have to sign up for this online in advance). I'm sure we will be back here again -- if we need something that they carry... read more

I was wondering where the hose at? Ok, whatever... dry joke. My wife said we needed a new hose and I like to come here because it's much less busy than other hardware stores. I picked up a gray garden hose and a spray nozzle. They give Military discounts to veterans here as well. No stars here stay away from this store . Bought a 1,000 Weber grill on Saturday before Memorial Day , they said the assembler was there and would put it together so I can get it on Sunday . Got a confirmation email that said I was getting it between 4-8 Sunday . On Sunday morning I get a phone call saying it won't be delivered till sometime Monday (memorial day ) . Then I was told it. it gets assembled and delivered from a warehouse in Miami not the store . so I went to the store and spoke with the managers and the ppl that sold me the grill . They said it's in the back and they will bring it to my house now . I came home and ten gif a phone call that they went gonna deliver it unless they refund the money I paid and they charge another 1,000 to my card . Ta' Lesha, a cashier in the garden department convinced me to never shop at Lowe's again. I like Lowe's because their plant selection is far more robust to Home Depot, however, with that said, Home Depot is far superior to Lowes in customer service, helpfulness, civility and almost every other aspect. I spent about an hour making a list of all the plants I wanted. I did not have enough cash for the full purchase, so I picked up 2 orchids from the clearance section and had intentions to return later with my truck and the necessary cash to complete the big purchase. I brought the 2 orchids to the cashier, Ta' Lesha, and she rang them up. But the price was incorrect. I showed her that the prices had a black slash mark designating that they were on sale and since they were over $20 each, the sale sigh stated that they would be at a 50% off price. She said that she could see that they were on sale by the register did not reflect the sale price so I had to pay what the register reflected. I asked her to go look at the clearance sign. She refused. I asked her to call the store manager and she laughed at me. She stated that the manager didn't work today, even though it was only 11 am on a Thursday. I asked her to call an assistant manager, and again she laughed at me stating that now one was going to walk all the way down to the garden department. I asked her to page anyone in a responsible position and she just looked at me and stated that there was not mechanism that she could use to call, page or have anyone come to the garden department. She rudely told me to walk to customer service, maybe they could help me, or I could just pay what the register showed. This was not the first time I could not make a purchase at Lowe's. It was not even the second or third time! So I left the 2 orchids on her counter, walked out and went home, got my truck, stopped at an ATM for cash and went to Home Depot to purchase most of the plants I wanted. I am tired of wasting time, listening to ridicules excuses from ignorant sales persons and leaving without a purchase when I attempt to shop at Lowe's. read more

I enjoy this plant nursery over the competitors. The reason for the four stars and not five is due to missing an employee they had that was super helpful and knowledgeable when it came to plants. Chris was great. Now it is hard to get any help when I go for plants. Sometimes frustrating so I leave. I waited one time for help for forty minutes because they said the lady was on lunch break. Forty minutes later I asked if they can call her again, and then I was told she went home. I had questions on plants because the price was marked out and the register employee didn't know what price the items were suppose to be. I know due to this, it should be a 3 star, however since the plants are mostly healthy I kept it a 4. Hope they have made a change with an interactive employee like Chris was. Through the years I have been here a handful of times and I have always had a positive experience. I was here a few weeks ago and the customer service I received in the lighting department was excellent. I was looking for a lamp and I found not just one, but I found a second one I just had to have. The associate helped me find the matching box since I purchased the floor sample. Normally I wouldn't buy the floor model but the lamp was in perfect condition and frankly, I wanted it then and there and didn't want to wait for another one to be delivered. Sometimes you know what you want and just have to have it then, you know what I mean? The employees in this store are helpful and accessible. Yes, I have had to wait for my turn to have keys made, but at least I was acknowledged by the clerk. A simple hello is so much nicer than being ignored. I made the mistake of buying the wrong size toilet bowl seat and exchanging it was easy. I mean, who knew toilet seats came in sizes and so many different shades? Parking is plentiful and I usually find a spot up front. The sales associates are very accommodating to someone like me who isn't knowledgeable about home improvements. So what if I didn't know if I needed an oval or round toilet seat, the bottom line is eventually I found the perfect one for me. And some cool lamps too! I really like this store and being next to Walmart makes this a very convenient location. read more

Never, never use Lowe's for purchasing appliances and delivery!! Firstly, when I bought my washer and dryer, in Coconut Creek at Turtle Run store, Jordan was very unpleasant! Because my dryer broke and my washer was barely hanging on, I felt like I had to make the purchase during that time, which I regret. Jordan told me that my washer and dryer would be delivered on Friday. The washer and dryer were delivered on Friday, but the delivery person told me that he couldn't hook up my washer because my faucets were rusted. My faucets were NOT rusted because they are made of brass and brass does not rust. My plumber was on speaker phone explaining this to the delivery person, but he still refused to hook up the machine. After which, my plumber came to my house to examine the faucets and found that they were NOT RUSTED. Needless to say, I called Lowe's to rescheduled for the next day which was Saturday and Lowe's delivery did a NO SHOW and a NO CALL to inform me that they had took it upon themselves to cancel my order without notifying me. I then rescheduled AGAIN and they promised that they would come the following day which was Sunday. Again, NO SHOW and NO CALL of which they did not notify me, once again, that they had canceled my order AGAIN. By this time, my laundry is over flowing and they now have rescheduled for Tuesday, which is my first day on my new job. Smh. Please do not purchase appliances from Lowe's and especially DO NOT USE THEIR DELIVERY!! Very incompetent!! No manager or supervisor was available during this entire process. I will never shop at Lowe's again. They do not value me as a customer. From this day forward, I will use HOME DEPOT. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I shredded my Lowes credit card. The reason is that they have poor customer service, no one is knowledgeable. Also, their app is horrible. You go to your account in the app and click on wallet you can not open you card, and when you go to buy something no one in the store can help. So if you leave your card at home you are SOL. The Pro Desk was condescending trying to make me look like a fool, you don't do that to anyone patronizing your business. Now I know why I continue to use Home Depot, even though that prices are a little higher but Home Depot has great Contractor Desk help and if you leave your card at home Home Depot can pull up your account and you show ID and Bam you are on your way. About a half a year ago I bought a dishwasher online at the same time I signed up for a credit card they put the amount of the dishwasher on the new credit card that they tell me when they deliver the dishwasher that it's going to sit here and not be installed for five days my apartments too small so I canceled it I bought it at Lowe's and they put it in the same day they brought it I'm still getting harassed in bills and fees and fines from Lowe's because they never took it off my new credit card I don't owe them $500 but they think I do someone better take care of this because I'm tired I'm tired of it and some people tell me It Has been taken care of but obviously it has not because they're giving me penalties. The salesperson and who is responsible for the paperwork & permits O'Brian Watson has been unresponsive since January. What a disappointment in customer service and incredible lack of accountability across their own employees. I had the worst experience with the Lowes located on Turtle Creek in Florida. I came to purchase a dryer. My delivery date was set for today January 20th. I got almost 6 texts the day prior in regards to my deliver for today Saturday. When I noticed my delivery window was coming to an end I called to check on the status to hear the automated service tell me my delivery is now for Saturday the 27th. I did not get a call nor text letting me know about any issues pertaining to my order. The date was changed without any notification what so ever. Had I had not called I'd be sitting here waiting on a delivery that had been canceled by the store without reaching out to me. This is terrible customer service. I've been waiting 4 days for a delivery now I have to go elsewhere to try and get a dryer prior to leaving Florida and returning back home. This was the worst experience for me thus far in Florida and I will now shop where my values align with that of the place I'm doing business. Lowes does not. While I was doing my purchase a customer called in and was complaining to a representative by the name of Sheryl in regards to this same problem. She then came to my representative, Julie and started discussing the issue. At this time i told her please dont distract Julie so the same error that occured with that individual doesnt happen to me. When we did get help, the gentleman who waited on us was able to answer our questions. First thing, I shop this Lowe's only. I've always have had a great experience with them with the exception of today. I am a 21 year combat veteran and all I wanted was my 10% discount as always. Today I went to scan my drivers license (very strange since I have my retired military ID), and as usual, it didn't work. It never has since they started the new military discount program. ELBA, the one working the self check out line, decided I couldn't get my veteran discount because I couldn't scan my drivers license. She had a very bad attitude towards me for a measly discount on some painters tape. I was just going to pay the full price, but after her and the managers attitudes, I decided I was going to peruse this issue because NO veteran should be treated this way! The manager said, as well as ELBA, "I will give you this today but you need to figure this out yourself." I would give zero stars for todays visit since I always usually get great customer service here. I'm very disappointed with Coral Springs Lowe's today with this silly situation. It's pretty sad that a $0.55 cent discount came to this. I just needed to get the point across and all of the other customers checking out told me good luck and thanked me for my service to this fine country! The refrigerator finally gave up the ghost on Sunday night after I did marathon cooking session prepping meals for the week. It was 20 years old so it was time for a replacement. I checked a used appliance place but the price for the one I wanted was only $100 less than for a new one. I then hit Home Depot and checked out their dent and scratch. I found one I could live with but delivery was expensive. They suggested a rent a truck to deliver it myself which was not going to happen. They would also not wheel and deal on the price. So I found myself in Lowe's. The first thing I noticed was that they had a much large selection of appliances than Home Depot. They were four rows of refrigerators alone plus several discounted refurbished and floor model samples. The salesman Gary was super helpful. After consulting with him I had it narrowed down to a new one and returned one and a floor sample. The discounted refrigerators were marked down and available immediately which tipped the odds in their favor. Gary was was able to discount them another two hundred dollars off the already discounted price. I ended up going with the refrigerator that was a return because it was larger and a nicer model for less money than the brand new one. I still have 30 days to decide if I like it and a one year Lowes warranty. I opted to purchase an additional 3 year warranty plan for $90 that covers everything but scratches and dents. If I don't use the warranty I can get back 30% of the purchase price at the end of three years. If anything happens they will give me a temporary refrigerator and reimburse m up to $150.00 for food spoilage. The excellent customer service from Gary and the large selection lead me to purchase my appliance at Lowes instead of Home Depot. Also Home Depot wanted $75 to deliver while Lowes delivered for free. For $15 they hauled away the old refrigerator so I didn't have to get it to the curb and wait for bulk pick up. I called Lowes for the window of delivery time I was given 11 AM to 1 PM. At 10 AM I was given a call and told they they were half an hour away. By 11 AM my new refrigerator was installed and working. So far I am very pleased with it. In addition to appliances you can get all manner of hardware items, tools, paint, cleaning supplies, and plants. While waiting to sort of my refrigerator I took a quick peak at the Halloween decorations. They had some really amazing ones including a gigantic animatronic dinosaur skeleton. When I finally checked out I was given the option of getting credit which is allowing me to pay off new appliance over 6 months interest free. I feel like I got a good value and in the future I will be checking out appliances at Lowes first. read more

Thoroughly disappointed in Loews. Bought a dishwasher and install last week. Installer called to schedule a day and time to come out. What Loews failed to tell everyone was that they didn't have the dishwasher in stock. Installer called to cancel and said he would call back to reschedule. Never happened. After my 3rd visit to the store and multiple calls to the installer, who couldn't seem to remember to call me back, I decided to cancel the entire purchase. SMH! Isn't this what you do Loews?! People give you money and you give them a product. What part of this equation do you guys not have down yet?! Maybe my small purchase doesn't matter to you as much as it does to me but the lack of communication is unacceptable. Even today they said, "It should be here tomorrow". Should be? Tomorrow??? If someone told me that it wasn't in stock I would have had a chance to purchase different washer or opt to wait on delivery rather then spend my week wondering what's going on and chasing installers. #fail read more

Considering we had to return a ceiling fan which did not work. This trip to Lowe's was painless. I was a bit unsure if I was going to be able to return or not. We had been so busy that we had the fan in the box for quite awhile. The customer service was on point and we were able to return within 5 minutes. Later we got many additional keys made and I like how quickly this was as well. The only thing I wish they had were employees around the store. I hardly ever go to Lowe's and trying to look for things or which aisles they have them in, took a while. Other than that I think this is a great store for house ware products, office, outside maintenance etc. I like their online website as well, which gives you ideas before you get to the store. read more

We went looking to replace our 13.3 gallon kitchen garbage can or just find a lid. We looked in the area where the garbage cans were and didn't see one. My husband found the lid to one. So we asked the young lady in the isle and she couldn't find the can to fit the lid. She told us to just take it up front. We did and Alfredo was our cashier. He said often that he doesn't think he can sell the lid without the can, but my husband countered with "how can someone sell the can without the lid? Are you going to throw the lid away?" So Alfredo went and got Philip who went and saw that, indeed, the can was not there. So he did some "magic" and charged us $5.35 for the lid without the can. And really, the lid was all we needed. So our thanks to Philip and Alfredo for making us consider Lowe's again in the future! read more

We bought our first home and we are doing a lot of renovations to make it our dream home with my husband being so handy. We love Home Depot and it's a little closer to our home but we decided to give Lowes a chance and picked up the 5% everyday with the CC but when we went to purchase over $1000 in kitchen appliances, the guys told us they didn't have any at the store or warehouse right now. When we asked when it might be available he said he didn't know. Not that he's look or get someone that could tell us. To Home Depot we went for our appliances and had a great experience. Tonight we went back for more items and when we went to the register, one of our items was missing a sticker. She (I believe her name was Linda - the one with purple hair) told us we had to go get another one that had it. We were shocked but I just wanted to get out of there so I went. I asked if she could call someone and she said no. There were two Lowes employees in that aisle as I went to look for another one. None of them had stickers so I took a picture of the hook they were on. When I went back to the cashier, I did let her know that two of her co-workers were there that could have retrieved that info for us. She then made the comment, "how was I supposed to see that from here?" So rude. The proper comment would have been thank for you walking all the way over there and for the inconvenience. Needless to say, we'd rather spend the 5% we'd have to pay at Home Depot then go back here during our home renovations or for anything else. read more

We purchased brand new appliances. We like the appliances. All GE and all are very sturdy and look durable. They all took long to deliver but that is where we are with all things today. My issue is the third party companies that install and deliver. Lowes does not respond nor give accurate information. They scheduled four times for delivery. Never once came on time. The people delivering are a nightmare. The oven was a four trip issue. Came with wrong three prong plug. Just for that another week for delivery. Called customer service.
