Wow these rating and comments are really spot on! I have been shopping at Lowe's for some while now and have spent thousands of dollars with the company improving my home. I went there today to help my boyfriend pick up his lawn mower and other supplies. In check out for the items he needed our cashier was okay, she was polite but her next cashier door , Ms.Vee I recall was rude , she was loud talking and yelling at customers. She even had on a customer service vest... like come on. We then went to customer service which was a long long line, to wait for the lawn mower front the back. The employees was loud talking and took 20 mins , to bring up a lawn mower. Like literally it was in the back and ready to go ! This Asian grocery store (just south of SR 528 on Orange Blossom Trail ) is a very convenient alternative if you are in South Orlando and want to pick up some Asian goods such as your weekly dose of ramen, snacks, veggies, sauces, etc if you don't want to make the trek out to Mills/Colonial or are near the Florida Mall. I like it because it is smaller and compact and has a homey feel to it. read more

This is my closest Lowe's, and let it be known that I'll travel an extra few miles, bypassing the Home Depot on Cascade to come here. The employees here are SO HELPFUL. They actually know where things are, and *gasp* they will ask if you need help, unsolicited! I was there today tooling (pun intended) around the store for an hour or so, looking at all kinds of kitchen reno items, and I was asked countless times if there was anything they could help me find. And when I did need help, it was always a quick response with the right answer! Occasionally they are out of things, but it's nowhere near as bad as that HD on Cascade. Lowe's is a great chain, but this location consistently disappoints me. When I have time to make a longer drive, I head to Home Depot in Monroe or East Point Hardware. This lowe's just happens to be the closest place to my home and the prices are reasonable. My low rating comes from the many times I've walked the store without ever being approached by a staff member. After arriving to the Lowe's 6:27( they open at 6) I proceeded to try and get paint. the cashier Vonna called for someone 7 times over loud speaker and NO ONE answered her. I walked around the store looking for someone until I got frustrated and decided to try and go get the paint elsewhere. After being hung up on by the lady in hardware who also tried to tell me she didn't hear Vonna call for help 7 times to line 282 and realizing I would be driving longer than I'd have to wait I decided to go back in and ask for a manager. After several minutes someone showed up at the counter and it was now 7:03. Of course two people beat me to the line because they had just walked up and was waiting for someone. The manager came at 7:07 and of course I was forced to still wait in line ignoring the fact that I had been here as she tried to tell me that it didn't matter that I had been there and that the cashier called for someone 7 times and that she's sure the man in front of me was there first even though she wasn't even there when I arrived herself. We ordered 2 light fixtures online and came to the store to pick it up. The website said they had 6 in stock so we thought this wouldn't be a problem. We checked in at the customer service area and told them our order number. After about 30 minutes, we asked if they'd had any luck getting the fixtures. Customer service called over to the electrical section, who said they didn't have it and wouldn't get any more in stock. Always a team of helpful associates. Garden Center guys always help load our pavers and retaining wall blocks (we've made several trips). And the associates at customer service always do a great job. Online inventory doesn't always match the store, which is unfortunate, and associates aren't always great about locating merchandise over the phone to confirm whether it's there or not before making the trip. All in all, it's a good Lowe's in a pretty busy area. read more

I tried to purchase a refrigerator online, to be fulfilled by the store - all three units they had in stock were damaged, but failed to tell anyone that until I wanted to know why it wasn't delivered. I also went to purchase some EMT pipes from them but were told they wouldn't cut them - any other Lowes or Home Depot would. It also seems like they have very few things in stock on a regular basis. If I could put a zero on Lowe's that's exactly what they deserve. I've been back and forth with Lowes for the last time they did an install of a Generator that their salesman fail to be honest about the Generator noise level even after I asked him. When the installation was done on April 3rd 2020, and I immediately came home since they said it will take all day maybe 5 or 6 hours I came home to a Loud Lawnmower Sound very irritating and annoying noise then instead of them waiting on GA Power like they said they would they left my house with this annoying noise coming from the side of my house. My neighbor came to me immediately asking what was the product said is loud and annoying and sits at her window I told her is a Generator she said is it going to be on all day I said no only when lights goes off I called the Contractor to ask why is the Generator on and did they leave his response was yes we had to leave because GA Power is taking too long so I thought it was unprofessional for them to leave the house without waiting on Ga Power to return. After Ga Power came and put back on my power I ask him if he knew why the Generator was so loud he said you get what you pay for. I was so angry and upset that I call the same SALESPERSON and ask why he lied about the noise level was lower than my a/c unit he remained quiet then after I told him what Ga Power told me he's then going off said he's a Electrician and knows nothing about a Generator what does he expect. I filled a complaint to ask Lowes if they can move the Generator to the back of the house or take it out and refund me because I don't want to have problems with my neighbor and is close to her window and Lowe's salesman lied about the product just to profit them and I'm unhappy with this Generator they told me they will go half with me to move it to the back of the house I must pay them $1,500. So I said nope you'll can come get it. My problem that I encountered now after they came and took out the Generator but left their transfer switch box and I told them the same day about my kitchen outlets was not working then Customer Service told me that they have other assignments to do and she'll let me know when her guys can come to check my outlets will be on 4-24-20. Her technician guy told me I had a bad outlet and is nothing they did. I explained to him that I never had electrical problems before the install so I know is something they did he insisted that is my outlets so I hired a Electrician and fix it, 2 days later all my lower level lights and outlets was off I contacted Lowe's but they denied that it was cause by them so I called another Electrician and he checked all my outlets and said it has strength but there's a shortage coming from somewhere in the breaker box and he ask if a Generator was installed lately I said yes so he said the only way to know if there's a nail in it is by cutting my wall and sure enough it was the damage that was coming from the transfer switch to my breaker box they nailed it directly into the wires. All Lowes want to argue about is that my County came out and checked everything and the Generator was working perfectly. I never disagreed that it wasn't working I'm arguing about the damage caused by the nail they drill through the transfer switch to my breaker wires and damage my lights then I had spoiled food in my deep freezer thrown away and asking Lowes to compensate me pay me for out of pocket expenses but they won't own up and do what's right. So I'm letting customers know be careful who you do business with because they only want your money. I am out of pocket expenses for $587.00 they refuse to give me back keep closing my complaint said there's nothing else they can do. I'm not giving up for the truth and still waiting to speak to a manager. And I still have to hire a painter to do my garage for $750 which I don't have. I had the worst experience at this store. I just don't even know where to begin. I placed an online order for pickup at this store, it was a Rubbermaid spray mop and I received a notification that my order has arrived at the store. This was my first time ever doing any business with Lowe's so I wasn't too familiar with how the online ordering works. I arrived at the store, and the lady at the front told me that my order was not ready yet but if I went and found it in the aisle, I could bring it back and proceed with the cashing out process. She sent us to the wrong aisle at first.... so when I went to the aisle and started to look for the item but there were none. I asked one of the employees that was there already helping someone find a broom and he tried to help me look on the top shelf and told us he was gonna go check in the back. He left us there for almost 30 minutes, so now I am mad. I went back to the customer service desk and explained the situation and she called the manager. We told the manager that we later then found the guy that told us he went to check in the back all the way on the opposite side of the store, and when we found him, all he said is, "oh yea, we don't have anymore..." when the manager came, I told her the situation as well, and she said that they had 10 in stock and she was gonna go get it herself. They sent us over to the paint section, we watched the manager sit in the middle of the store by the registers and talk to another employee... so we could see that she wasn't even looking. After I stared at her, she came over to me and said a lady that was working in the paint section that I was staring at for the last 20 minutes, was going to help me find it. SHE HAD NO CLUE WHAT WE WERE EVEN TALKING ABOUT. After looking in the SAME aisle that the guy helped us in when's endorse arrived at the store, she followed us back to the manager and said there were none up there and that is was maybe an inaccuracy in the system... so our only option after waiting 2 hours for my ONLINE PICK UP ORDER... was to cancel it or get something a little more than the price of what I was trying to buy which there was nothing else even along the lines that they had available... i work in customer service and I can't even believe the service I received at this store. The was no compensation for my time and for my money spent here. This was ridiculous, I have never ever been tossed around like nobody cared even if I spent $1 or $100!!!!!!!! read more

It's not often that I leave a harsh or one-star review, but this time it's warranted. About a week ago, I placed an online order for store pickup - which consisted of a total of 5 items. Upon getting to the store, it turned out that 2 of the items were wrong (which required exchanges) and 1 item, a 5 gallon bucket of stain, was out of stock. I spent about 20 minutes working with their sales associate to rectify the situation - which included doing 2 exchanges, and a "negotiation" on the 5 gallon bucket of water seal. Orginally, they wanted to send me off without the bucket - which was the whole purpose of placing the order to begin with. I finally proposed the idea that they give (5) one gallon buckets at the same price as the orginal 5 gallon size. After a couple phone calls to get approval, I left with 4 of the 5 items that I needed. (they didn't have a package of rollers, which I had to stop and get some place else - huge hassle) Overall, I was very disappointed in the whole process of ordering online and picking it up in the store. The staff seemed disorganized, and honestly, didn't really seem like they wanted to help. In fact, I would argue that it would have been quicker for me to just gather everything on my own, which defeats the purpose of the online shopping "experience." I left Lowe's frustrated and disappointed. You can bet that the next time I need any hardware, that HOME DEPOT will get my business next time. Adios Lowe's! read more

Told us that they only had 1 person scheduled, although I observed at least 3 workers standing around doing nothing. I had some building materials delivered to my home on Monday. I refuse 1 set of items due to damage. Another was not what I ordered. I was told I would get a replacement delivery for order and a phone call to set that up. 2 days later no phone call no delivery. So I went to the store I'm not even scheduled for my redelivery. I advise them I want to purchase so more products and have it all delivered. I'm told I can't do that. The associate that helped me was very rude and passed me off to customer service desk for help on missing items. I was so angry I just turned it into a refund for my items. I also advised them I will get the rest of materials from Home Depot. They mess up as well. But at least they make a effort to make it right. I'm done with this store. The garden section today did not have any check-out help. I waited for someone to come check me out as two employees walked by me. I went inside and the lady at the service desk said there was nobody to help me. She made a call with her phone and was told nobody could help me. I left my items on the cart and exited.
