Employees were not very helpful when I asked on where I can find the part I needed. They were also always on their phones joking around and not going around to help other customers. Prices are good because it's set by cooperative if not I would've probably paid for 50 dollars for a nail and terrible service. Selection there are a lot of options but it's hard to find things when the employees won't help. They did end up having the specific part I needed after I looked for awhile. read more

I used to frequent Lowe's quite a bit, as I bought a "fixer upper" home and am constantly in need of "something" hardware-like. I am a veteran and always appreciated they and Home Depot give an everyday 10% discount to vets. However, Lowe's has decided for me to get the discount, I must use my Lowe's card every single time so they can track my purchases. They don't SAY this, but that's what it is. I shouldn't have to share any of my info in order to receive a discount they've always given, but only recently decided was predictated on invasion of my privacy. I'm now a firm Home Depot person and choose to never step into a Lowe's again. read more

I had a dishwasher installed on 16 Dec 2020 by Melton Inc. On 15 Dec they went to the store to pick it up and it was coded for the customer to pick it up. No one from the store contacted me to verify this and we had to wait another day. The day of the install, there was a leak that ruined my wooden floor in front of the dishwasher. The dishwasher is not level or square. I sent videos and pictures to Alex S. at the Huber Heights store on 22 Dec. I told him we can deal with this after the Holidays and he agreed. I reach out to him on 11Jan 21 with no contact back. I tried again on 25 Jan 21 with no contact back. I finally went to the store on 13 Mar 21. I asked for somebody to contact my by 9 AM on Monday, 15 Mar 21. You guessed it, nobody contacted me. I reach out to the store manager and she did call me and left a voice message and said I would be contacted by their production team on 15 Mar. You guessed it again, nobody contacted me. There is a pattern here. I have asked for the number to the district manager or his office and I was told I could not get that number. Why would they deny a customer with that number to voice a complaint and discuss this treatment. I would not recommend this store or company at this time. Customer service needs to be improved and managers need to be retrained. read more

I woke up in the mood for gardening even though weather is chilly and it rained for 2 days. went to this store, bought 11 plants and 10 top soil plus large bag of potting mix. my plants were soaked so I took some plastic bag so it won't mess my car carpet, this cashier won't let me take those bags, she said I took a lot, I have only 6!! and for heaven sake! I need those bags and I didn't get it! bought $217.69 worth of items from this store and I can't get a bag! you lose a great customer! read more

Well where to start went In to buy a lawn mower, a weed Wacker and a grill. As seems to be the usual in most retail the customer is number 2 the freight is number 1. Took forever to even be acknowledged myself and my lady were there. So I asked for a grill in the box. After about 30 minutes we were told that we could pay for the grill and return later to pick it up. She could not get to the grill because they were unloading truck where it was. Needless to say with gas at $4 a gallon we passed on her offer. Put weed Wacker back didn't get the mower and left. We did go to the Lowe's in beaver creek a few days later and did buy the grill. read more

From central Ohio area, came into Vandalia for a small week end project. Had my shopping list and Lowes Card in hand, first item on list was metal studs for drywall addition. After talking with 3 sales people, I found out they didn't carry metal drywall studs at this location... As they laughed and referred me to another supplier, I felt worse then contractor without his truck!! $60 of metal studs cost them $300 loss in total supply sales. Menards in Tipp City had it all, Menards was very helpful at contractor desk and loading barn!! read more

I ordered windows through Lowes in April 2021and had them installed finally by December 15th 2021. This was not due to windows not in stock . Windows were ordered and was in stock in June 2021. Windows were finally delivered and sat in my garage for 2 months due to installers stopping by and stating there was no caulking delivered so we can't install . I said you have to be joking ? Lowes has isles full of caulking , the installers said it has to be pella brand or warranty is void on windows . When they did install windows they never used pella caulking they used there own clear caulking (LIES) .Installers finally showed up in October 2021 and installed all windows except 3 that were the wrong size . So once again I have to wait a couple more months . This was the Lowes in Huber Heights , Ohio . Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else , if you must go with Lowes go to a different location so you don't have to deal with the LIES that I was told throughout the process by Lowes install specialist Brian, installers, and numerous managers at Lowes . After I was told I would get a refund on windows due to hardship (Lowes customer service Corporate told me this) I had to fight with Corporate customer service over several months to get a small refund back from a 12,000 dollar window install . I hope this saves someone from going through almost a year long headache that I went through . read more

Our family has visited the Lowe's Home Improvement building supply store often. We have had many positive experiences at this store in Troy, OH. It does seem as though it is possible that they have had some managerial changes or something because our most recent visits have been better than some experiences we had over a year ago. Whatever they've done to make shopping there more pleasurable I hope they keep doing it. The staff members have been courteous and helpful. read more

You need something to fix up your house? They probably have it. The store is nice, clean and the staff is efficient and helpful. The only issues I encountered were lack of knowledge. They have lots of staff, but not everyone knows what you need to know, even if they are standing in that area. The other issue is that they don't carry certain brands. When looking to buy a lawn mower recently they didn't have any of the consumer reports top 5. Being a huge CR fan I had to go elsewhere to find my lawnmower. I found the same with my weedwacker. So this store is solid, but no extras for sure. read more

I purchased $4,000 of appliances last Wednesday that was to be delivered today. Two young men showed up to deliver only part of my order and could barely communicate in English. They refused to take my old appliances although the appliance dept supervisor swears they were instructed to. They unpacked the new refrigerator and looked at the older fridge that was to be moved out into the garage. They said they could not unhook the old and wanted us to unhook it. They first of all said they shut the water off. Then said they would not hook up the new. After being frustrated with holding forever to get the removal of the old appliances resolved, I told them fine. I will have our handyman connect the line. We asked again if they had shut off the water line and this time they said no. Make up your damn mind. I had to go back to the store after the original purchase to tell them the prices they charged us was not right. They said I was right, but I would have to wait till after the delivery to come back into the store, AGAIN, to get my price correction. Between the missing stove, terrible communication, not hauling away old appliances, not able to disconnect old appliance, not able to connect waterline on new appliance and needing to go to the store to resolve all of THEIR errors. I had enough! Take your appliances back! Called the store to tell them that I refused the shipment and that I wanted an immediate credit. They made the big mistake of telling me that I would need to come to the store to get my credit! Terrible service. read more

Used the purchase online and pick up in store. First guy at the pickup desk knew nothing about how to do a pick so I told him to get someone and he just walked away. Someone did quickly come, but I could have picked up the item myself and checked out the normal way and been our of the store 3X faster. I generally like Lowes and do regular business there. I've been to this lowe's a half dozen times. 2 of those times I left so frustrated I felt like punching their employee. The first bad experience was to do with a cashier who didn't want to ring me up without getting all my personal info. I had to argue and then demand to see a manager before they let me pay. The second bad experience was when I purchased a propane exchange tank, got it home and found out it didn't work. I took it back (still full) two weeks later and the "customer service" girl all but accused me of trying to pull something funny. She was belligerent, mean and nasty (all while wearing a love jesus pin). I finally had to get a manager to get an exchange handled. I'll never go to this lowe's again. Poor attitudes come from unhappy employees who work for either bad companies or bad managers. I'll drive across town to Home Depot or Ace Hardware from now on. read more

Tried to buy a quart of paint this afternoon at the Huber Heights location. When I walked up to the counter, there were 3 store associates, no customers. Told the male associate what I needed and handed him my paint color card. He went back and got the quart, put it under the color machine and then walked away to talk to another customer who had walked up with one of the other associates. Five minutes and my paint can is still sitting there. I tried catching his attention, nothing. Finally walked up to the conversation and asked for my paint swatch back. He asked me if I still wanted the paint! Told him I would go somewhere that wanted my money. He grunted and gave me a "whatever" under his breath. Used to purchase a lot of products for my company and our family there. Rethinking my options currently. Lowe's, train your people what the phrase "customer service" means. read more

We purchased siding shutters and gutters on may 20th the People that were putting up our siding call and say they where coming and then not show up then when they did they would say they had to leave then when they finished they broke a few pieces and never fixed them called Lowe's about it they just keep giving us the run around they would say someone will come out and they will call us but nothing we called are project manager she's either on another line or in a meeting the guys that put up our gutters where also supposed to put up are shutters they didn't know anything about that they thought they were doing the siding I called again and still no answers even left a message for our project managers supervisor to call us and again nothing our shutters are still sitting at Lowe's waiting to be put up and our siding is still broken we are at wits end in what to do other then contacting an attorney at this point this is the worse service we have ever received from Lowe's read more

I purchased 4 Pella windows with installation during one of their big sales. The salesman, Brian, had someone come out, it may have been him, and measured the windows and promptly ordered them. When the installation crew arrived, they removed one window and tried to fit the new window in the opening and it was the wrong size. They put the old window back in and said they would contact the store to order new windows. We waited and waited, my wife called 3 or 4 times, no return phone calls. We ordered these windows in early spring, March or April. It is now the middle of August and still no return phone call from Brian and no windows. The sad thing is we have been paying on these windows for over 3 months. Today I called the manager and he passed me on to the Lowes Production Office. After explaining our situation she promised to get an answer back to me by Wednesday of next week on whether the windows were even reordered. Today is Friday so that means they are leaving me to wait for 5 1/2 days without an answer about whether these windows are sitting in the Lowes warehouse in Huber Heights. I asked her if there is a possibility of any additional compensation and she said that was not her department and didn't know who I should talk to for an answer. The installation crew was wonderful, the Lowes crew has been horrible. I will never use the Lowes in Huber Heights again. read more
