Sometimes you walk into a business and realize from right from the start that it suffers from a toxic culture of laziness, rudeness and just general apathy. This Lowe's is that place. The worst Lowe's I have ever been in. Driving up to the lumber yard, three employees in red vests were literally standing in the lane and blocking my car chatting and laughing. None of them moved or looked up and were still there when I came back out to my car. I couldn't find what I was looking for and went up to the pro desk to ask. The employee literally completely ignored me for at least two minutes and there was no one else even around me. Finally found what I was looking for. Got in line between two others and it took ten minutes to get through it. The pro desk had four employees in it coming and going and they didn't even open the other register. There were like 15 customers in the entire store! Twice as many employees as customers. I'll never be back needless to say. read more

Horrible experience at Lehi's lowes. I purchased a shed and it was to be delivered, but they sold it to someone else before they delivered it, and it was the last one in stock. I had tell them there was 2 other stores within 20 miles that had them in stock. So then it took another 8 days to get the damn shed to the Lehi store from Orem. They changed my delivery date 8 times. I was lied to every time they called the store manger said I would get 10% off that never happened. Bunch of clowns at that store. Horrible service. read more

I was able to find the flowers I wanted. There was a life selection and the prices were reasonable. The garden employee was friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed in the tomato plants. There was a very small selection of produce plants so there was not much to choose from. I did like that they had organic plants so I was able to get organic tomatoes and Serrano peppers. I was also able to get garden soil specifically for fruit and vegetable plants. There was only one bag to chose from for potted plants in terms of fruit and vegetables plants. They did also have a bag of soil for fruits and vegetables garden soil for in the ground. I went to Lowe's at 6 am and found it busy for that time, which surprised me. They did have a sign that all carts had been sanitized and there was hand sanitizer for you to use when you entered the store. I saw some employees with masks and some employees without masks. An announcement came on every so often to remind everyone to stay Six feet apart. I was happy to see Lowe's practicing CDC guidelines for covid-19. read more

i purchased a dishwasher from Lowes, i measured and I had a standard 34 in dishwasher to assure the fit. They had a third party come and install it. the installers asked if I wanted to keep my current d/w. I said yes because it is not mine and the owner wanted it. I came back in and they cut the old dishwasher in half to get it out! Then they said the new one would not fit. When I asked for the old dishwasher they said " oh that one is destroyed.". Lowes said the installers have to rectify this and the installers are like, we can see if we can bring the old one back but it was cut in half. In what world is this okay? I just paid Lowes $45 to have someone come out and measure. () and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!!!! I seriously don't even know how to fix everyonespointing fingers! I'm fairly sure I will be going to Home Depot for all my household repair needs in the future. I used to love going to Lowe's, especially because they have a good veterans discount. But after coming to the Lowe's in Lehi, I found myself quite disappointed. Two days in a row, two different reasons. Yesterday I came looking for soffit, the young kid wasn't able to help me find it I spent a long time wandering trying to find it, in the end I just gave up. And then today, I came in to get some replacement paint. The elderly gentleman at the paint counter was all by himself with no customers, so I approached him and showed him my paint sample and asked him to match it. He told me the sample is too small that I would have to go match it by eye. So I matched it as best I could came back and showed him and asked him if I can get the smallest size available he seemed bother at my request went and looked for it came back and said he didn't have any in a small size I had to get a gallon. So I went across the street to Home Depot and they took the same sample and got me a match. Recommended a good paint and a good paintbrush. Their paint counter was extremely busy and I can see why because they weren't turning away people with answers like no. And then I get to pay for my paint and supplies and see a little sticker on the register that says they're giving veterans a discount too now. read more

Today I discovered something Lowe's does in their parking lot that I was impressed with and, frankly, changed my mind and the place I will go to shop for home improvement items. I was impressed to see reserved parking spaces near the front of the store entrance for VETERANS! Wow. I've not seen that before at stores and certainly not at Home Depot--and since many members of my family and I are veterans, it impressed me! Thank you Lowe's for recognizing our veterans in this way. Also, when you provide Lowe's with a copy of your DD-214, they will recognize your veteran status in their computer and when you check out, you'll receive a 10% discount. Way to go Lowe's. Thank you. This Lowe's sucks and Marty especially has terrible customer service. My 81 year old grandmother ordered a dishwasher a few weeks back here and paid Lowe's to have it installed. They set the appointment up for today and she waits around all morning. Nothing. Finally the installer calls. He went to Lowe's to pick up the dishwasher, rang and rang at the pickup bay and no one came. So his boss told him he needs to move on. He tells my grandma to call Lowe's and take it up with them at this point. She calls Lowe's and talks to Marty. He very rudely tells her it's not their fault because the installer (who Lowe's supplied mind you) should've just come in and got an employee. Marty theme tells her they can't do anything and he can have the installer call her again and reset up the appointment. Crappy service crappy installers. Terrible customer service. I went in to look for a lawn mower yesterday. I couldn't find anyone to help. When I finally did chase someone down, they were clearly irritated and told me that the person who knows about lawn mowers went home for the day. What!? There's only one person who knows about lawn mowers? So I called this morning to make sure the "one person" who knows about lawn mowers is in. I went through the whole automated button pressing to get to the right department. The phone rang and rang and eventually hung up on me. This happened 3 times. I finally called to speak with customer service and when I mentioned lawn mowers, they interrupted and said they would transfer me. The line just rang for several minutes and then went back to customer service. I went around in circles like this for about 15-20 minutes before I gave up. read more

I love going to Lowes. It's always less busy then going to Home Depot. I feel like I get the same amount of expert help. Prices seem to be about the same. Just depends on the products that you're buying. Spencer Murray times in this love of buying everything from paint, to lighting, the backsplash Garden , flowers, trees, pavers, fireplace kits and more... Today I was there buying oil and a pump extract my old gas in my lawn mower and trimmer. The guy was fantastic help. I was there last week buying pavers that gentleman was fantastic and giving advice, tips and help. I'll be back. read more

Don't buy an appliance here!!! If you do pick it up yourself! They told us the delivery date and the time range. They said we would get a call a half an hour before the delivery. Our time range was 1:30 to 5:30. By 6 no one had called us. So I called the store and got put on hold for a half an hour. Called back and the lady told me the delivery people go home at 4. She said they came by at 12 and should have left a note. There was no note and the time they supposedly came was not in the range they told us it would be. She said she would talk to the delivery manager and see if we could be first on the list for the next day. The next day came and I called the store. They said we were second on the list and if didn't get our stove by 2 to call the store. 2 comes and no stove! So we call the store and they told us the delivery people stop at 2 on Sundays!!!!!! They assure us we will get our stove tomorrow. Yeah we have heard that before! We do not recommend them for appliance delivery purchases. read more

The saw has not worked for over two months, so when I bought a piece of lumber that needed cut, I was not able to do it there. It sure would have been nice if they had posted that it was broken, or you know, just got it fixed. I would have rather went to Home Depot and got it cut properly. So I show up with a teething baby and I'm hobbling a bit because my ankle that broke was super sore. Not one person asked if they could help me the entire time. I went into lumber and the employee I asked about sawhorses just kinda stared at me, couldn't understand why I wanted to make a work bench and literally asked what I'd do with a lathe, like I couldn't wood work. Then a middle aged, I think Hispanic man, with a scruffy beard helped me a ton, not sure if he worked there or not. I couldn't get it all in my car so I came back with the truck. I had to literally force them to cut the board for me and he gave me no advice on how to cut it. Then tried making me push the wood up front and load it myself. I told him I would need him to at least load the wood. After waiting forever I just loaded it myself and left. No one said a word. read more

So, the old dude in the hardware section is pretty grouchy. Which is not really an asset in the customer service industry. And I'd normally write that off to having a bad day, but since I have run into him more than once I can't do that. However. The rest of the staff here is pretty good. Not as good as a small local store, but the selection is a heck of a lot better. If I can't find it at Ace and I need it right now, this is my go to. And it's much better than the home depot across the street in the customer service department. And here is an inside tip. If you really need the guy that knows where everything in the entire store is and has the knowledge to help you get what you need complete the toughest home improvement job, turn left when you come in the door and go all the way down to the contractor services section. Ask one of the guys there. They know their stuff. Just don't abuse it, other people need them too. read more

The Lehi store has the worst service. We went to ask for help on a ride on lawn mower. Could not get anyone to come outside. I finally went inside and found someone - Miguel told me he had to go to the bathroom first then he will come out to help us. David would not go outside to talk to us, but told us, we could go into the store because they have the same mowers inside and with prices. What happen to good customer service? This store need to find better help. We left without buying a ride on mower like we had hope to. read more

The wife and I frequent here often to buy things for the house. We've had our ups and downs with this particular Lowes. Pros: the staff is super friendly in person. Ask anyone a question and they will find what you need. And go above and beyond to find anything for you. Cons: calling their customer service is awful, they'll transfer you around 10 times and then tell you to come in the store. Pro tip: Go in, they are super helpful, save yourself the 15minutes of being transferred around on the phone, it takes half that to just drive there. read more

I called the American Fork store spoke with a manager and electrical, looking for a specific product gave them the item number. He said he had none in the computer. I asked him if you go look on the shelf and sometimes the computer can't always be up-to-date. He wouldn't, and he's a manager so if he doesn't go look when Customer ask, why would I expect the regular staff to do it? It has been a long time since I have seen the combination of lack of accountability, incompetence, disrespect and low regard for customer experience as I did today so it bears mentioning. I ordered $800 of fence materials on-line including $75 for delivery. For some reason the order was directed to the Lehi store (25 miles away, not my local store). The bulk of the order was delivered less 7 bags of poly post hole compound. I got a call from customer "service" guy who said "uh, the driver forgot to put the items on the truck so we're going to need you to come and get it". I said "I'll just pick it up at my local store". Lowes guys said "uh, no, we just need you to come get it. I said respectfully "no that doesn't work, I paid, you made a mistake, I expect to pick it up where it's convenient for me or you can ship it like I paid you to do. Sounds like you're making your problem into my problem". He said "uh, we'll need to charge another $75 for delivery or maybe if we're in your area we can deliver it but I don't know when that will be; why don't you just come in and get it". At this point, it was clear this guy was either too dumb & incompetent, too apathetic or both to give me an acceptable solution so I called back, got someone else, same story, no apologies, apathy and no options. I went to my local Lowes, they apologized, called someone to get options, cancelled the order and sold me what I needed. 5 minutes. Now why is it that Lehi couldn't figure it out and made me feel like wasting my time to tell everyone what a pathetic operation they run in Lehi. read more

I'm not sure what has happened to this place, it was once excellent. The help here may have been having a bad day, not sure. I went in to return a piece of garage door seal moulding that was excess from a recent purchase and get a moulding for another door. When I walked in I asked the person at the register where I take the stuff for returns. She muttered something about she was changing cash drawers... I asked for clarification, she ignored me. I decided to just return the moulding to the shelf myself and let the store keep the $10. At least its out of my garage. I took the new moulding for the other door to the register but could not find a barcode to scan it. I asked the attendant for help and got the shrug shoulder, not my problem routine? I handed him the moulding and left. Home Depot was happy to help me get what I needed. I'd avoid Lowes if shopping for home products in Lehi. Lowes just does not seem to be what they once were. read more

I could not believe how bad the service was here. We waited around forever for someone to help us find a tool chest. We finally found someone, they said that there were two in the back and left to go find them. They finally came back after 20 minutes and said that they actually didn't have it in stock. We bought a few other things in the self checkout, that gave us problems as well. When we scanned them in it said declined. The associate wasn't there to help us, so we waited around again. She told us to go to the other checkout and they'd get us right through. We ended up waiting in a long line because it was the ONLY checkout in the store open other than the self checkout. When we got up there, the associate took his sweet time and then couldn't get our gift card to work and said we would need to go to customer service. We told him we had waited enough and another lady came and got our card to work. Absolutely ridiculous how slow, unhelpful, and unknowledgeable the workers in this store were. I am trying to get a storm door that I ordered and paid for a month ago. Every process has been painful. I tried ordering online but was told that I needed to call the store to pay for the install in order to order the door. I paid for the install measurement and waited two weeks for someone to come out and measure my door (got the exact same measurements that I gave them two weeks previous BTW) and then called the store to try and pay for the door and order it. After 45 minutes on the phone and being disconnected twice, I was told that I had to come into the store in order to "sign a contract." I did so and was told that my door would arrive in two weeks. I waited two and half weeks to call and see if the door was in and schedule installation and was told the door had arrived a few days earlier and that the installer would call me. It's now been an additional four days and no phone call. I called Lowe's again and was argued with as to when the door was received by the store and that I needed to wait for the installer to call. Wishing that I had purchased from another store and installed myself at this point. read more

I have had a horrible experience with this particular Lowes. My wife called in 3 times asking for assistance on buying an oven. Each time was told the "expert" would call back who never did return our call. We eventually ordered one online because it stated next day delivery. Over a week and a half later we got our order and not once did I receive an update after requesting them through email. We spoke with a manager who was no sympathetic on the phone and was pretty rude. Will never do business here again. read more
