There is a great parking lot here, no worries about finding a spot. I have visited this location twice recently because a close friend of mine has just purchased a new home nearby and we are helping her with several projects to get the place ready. The selections have been really great, there were tons of options for bathroom sinks, countertops, vanities, and faucets. Many of the options had great matching accessories available which included towel bars, lighting, and toilet paper holders. We had a great time picking everything out from the displays but when it came time to find the boxed merchandise and get it on the cart we had difficulty. There are buttons in each department that you need to push if there is no one there so that it will page someone. The page went through 7 times before we nabbed an employee walking by and she finally went and go someone to help. Once help was there it was really easy for him to help us find what we needed and he helped us find one comparable item that our original choice was out of stock on. We were also in the market for bathroom tiles and we did find a great variety of bathroom tiles for each bathroom and everything you need to go with it from spacers to different colors of grout. Paint was easy to get also since my friend knew what colors she needed and what types of paint. We just needed to wait a few minutes while it mixed. Check out was a bit of a hassle because the cashier had to scan every tile...there were a lot. 4 huge carts and over 2 grand later we were not asked if we needed help loading everything into the trailer. We did have a pretty good experience though, I won't be avoiding this store.

The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. Husband and I bought a new house and needed 3 bedrooms of carpet and a stair runner installed. Called Lowes and they said someone would contact us to come measure the rooms before we can pick out the carpet. We made an appointment via text message with an installer, and not 1, not 2 but THREE people came out to measure our home, NONE of them being during the appointment time we made. We called Lowes and they said it would take three to four days before the installer communicated the measurements to them. (what??) Called back 4 days later and they said we need to come in to pick the carpet. We went in, picked the carpet, and they said it would be a few weeks before the carpet was delivered to the installer. After that, absolutely ZERO communication about the carpets and when they would be arriving. My husband and I called probably 5 times only to be 1. put on hold for upwards of 20+ minutes, 2. told that the manager wont be in until later, 3. endlessly ringing phone, 4. transferred between departments with no real answers. Finally, we called installation services and were told our 'runner' was holding things up, because it wasn't properly seamed. SIX WEEKS after beginning the process, and after numerous calls and complaints, they came to install our carpet and IT WAS THE WRONG CARPET. (And my husband and 2 year old were all living in the dining room because we couldnt move our furniture into the bedrooms they were putting carpet in) I'm currently on phone call number 7 with customer installation trying to get this resolved with compensation for this nightmare. I keep getting the answer "A manager will contact you about this request" with not ONE phone call from management so far.

Phone to check availability before you go. When it says something is in stock on the store website, it's always sold out.

When I went to return something that was not worth 30 dollars, the lady who told me about it made me feel bad.

Big box stores leave me basically on my own. Their employees seem to sense when you need help and run away. I'm older and love full-service stores like this that remind me of a different time, before independent hardware outlets started to die off. (Remember full service pharmacies, too?!) Brace yourself for some little points that some may find annoying: the inventory is organized with no rhyme nor reason (that's why it's good to ask). For example, I recently was looking for ant traps. There is a display with mousetraps and traps/repellants for spiders, wasps and roaches. No ants. I turned around and was going for help and there, at the end of an aisle six feet away from the rest of the pest supplies, was a good variety of ant mitigation products (don't buy the little Raid traps, they were useless - I upgraded to a costly, elaborate alternative and it rid us of ants in our summer kitchen.) Finally, the owner has a lot on his plate. He can be abrupt - on the verge of grouchy. But he has a good heart and is never malicious. Just grouchy. The employees can be brief with words and cheerless, but they'll get you what you need and get you on your way rapidly. After all these caveats, a "plus:" they carry many of the latest items - you'll find stuff like the latest laser measuring tool, the hot colors in paint, LED lighting equipment including dimmers, and metric screws, nuts and bolts. Try them. If you like walking around an old-school Hardware "emporium," this is the place for you!

The store has 4 interior doors that we would like to be metal. I explained to the gentlemen what I was looking to do. I had the door width and height, swing and that we wanted them to be metal. He asked me if I was a contractor, which I responded no. Every question I asked, such as, is the door depth inclusive of framing and sheetrock for metal doors, I was met with some snide comment about how a contractor would know this answer. I asked what other information he would require so I could come back with the complete information he was requesting. At lighting speed he rattled off about a half dozen things. I asked if I was bothering him and he said he usually works with contractors who know this information. I said will you only sell to contractors, his answer was no, but they know all the information he is looking for. So rude, so condesending. Off to Tull Brothers.
