Fake "Same Day" Delivery - Complete Logistics Nightmare Ordered on March 28th under the promise of "Same Day Delivery." Two days later, my order date just keeps sliding forward with no explanation. Only found out after calling that they use third-party drivers-something they didn't disclose at checkout. Now I'm stuck with a demolished kitchen, no cabinets, and no delivery date. Today it was delivered and found a valve was caroated and needed to be replaced by a plumber so we did that and were promised next day install and now they are making us wait 2 days. Our old fridge is not keeping our food cold and I was transferred to 5 different people. Not good customer service at all!!! read more

Great paint section. We had some challenges with paint issues in a room in our house but lo and behold when we went the paint department in Lowes, we were helped by John. He is a magician! He narrowed down the color for us and suggested the paint that is easiest to use. By the time we finished the first coat, we were amazed and what a great job he did in getting the color right. We are lucky to have such an expert in our community when it comes to home improvement. The only reason I reduced by one star is because they have so little help in the rest of the store, it's challenging to find someone to assist you. If you must shop at Lowe's Home Improvement, avoid this store. There are not enough employees working at this store. If you go in the evening, it's even harder to find help, good luck. This store is totally understaffed, short-handed, and undermanned. We went shopping for new home appliances. We waited at least 15 minutes before an employee was located for the appliances department. During this time, we watched an employee "work" and avoid us at all costs. The employee sent to assist was unfamiliar with appliances and actually worked in a very different department. A manager was sent to assist us, he was even less familiar. Ultimately, the five different appliances we wanted to purchase weren't even available in the advertised colors. Incredibly deceiving. The prices are nearly the same at Lowe's and Home Depot, so I will take my business back to Home Depot. read more

After I got gas in my car at the Shell Gas Station last Friday on August 31, 2023 at 8;30 p. m. I drove to the Lowe's Home Improvement parking lot which is nearby this Shell Gas Station. Then I parked my car into their parking lot, locked my car door and then I walked towards When this plumber, his name is Turner from MasterCraft Plumbers came over to my house on Tuesday on August 31. 2023 at 9:30 a. m. On Tuesday, 8/31/23 that was my first time meeting Turner in my home. When Turner was installing this MOEN Aldler Pull-Down Faucet he told me there are already hot and cold valves located underneath the sink and he doesn't think it is necessary to replace these two hot and cold water valves. I said okay, Then Turner told me to return these 2 hot and cold water valves at my local Lowe's Home Improvement Store. I said, alright I will go to Lowe's Home Improvement Store as soon as possible. I had these 2 hot and cold water valves inside a bag and waited in the Customer Service Department line. I saw there was only one person ahead of me waiting In the Custome Service Department, It was my turn and Taylor this Lead Cashier said how can she help me today? I said I am here to return two hot and cold water valves. The price of each of these 2 hot and cold valves are $5.98 each is the $11.96 plus the 99 cents sales tax to equal the total cost of $12.95. Taylor this lead cashier, I saw she was processing my return items on these 2 Hot and Cold Water Valves. Then Taylor said she will give me a credit refund that will be applied to my new Lowe's Credit Card Account that I paid for and I have charged on the date on August 22, 2023. How incompetent can in-store customer service be? Enough that I will order the items on Amazon after wasting time interacting with a customer service associate in the garden section who didn't know where peat pellets are located and what they are used for. Very typical and why I avoid shopping in understaffed stores and the staff who are there don't have a basic knowledge of the products they are selling. Even Girl Scouts are more knowledgeable of the products they are selling. read more

Lowes is super convenient in terms of location for us. Items can be hit or miss though so I would suggest researching what you need online to see if they carry it in stock before you go. For example, we found out our exhaust fan model was not sold here despite looking similar in size and shape but actually Home Dept carried it. We've also purchased quite a bit of paint from here and this seems to be the only section where you can immediately spot an employee. My husband has purchased several small things for our home including outlets, light fixtures, and screws. They easily take returns so that is always a good thing too in case things don't work out read more

Customer service here used to be better than the Home Depot close by reason I made this my primary. Unfortunately, everyone working near the aisle(s) either avoids you or says that's not their area and will send someone to help you, which after several attempts and more than 30 minutes never happened. I asked for this level clearly in stock. I asked 3 different people who said they'll send someone over to assist. I wait total 20 mins and no one showed. I went to the register with this picture and the attendant said it was out of stock. I told him to look at the picture because it's clearly in stock. He said, "Oh, I'm sorry the guy that works there is on break." So I asked if he's the only one in ALL of this store who has the key to help me, and he said, "Nope, he's the only one." read more

I recently went to Lowe's for some screws and door knobs. The selection to begin with was decent, how ever not updated (as in the shelves were not stocked up). I requested assistance from Vicki as I realized I needed more screws than the ones that were already on the shelf. I simply asked for assistance in taking down a box of screws from the higher part of the shelf. A task that could've taken 10 minutes at most turned out to take 45 minutes. Not the mention, I was already on a time crunch. Yes, I understand that there can be delays, but 45 minutes to get a ladder and bring down a box of screws from a shelf is crazy! In addition to this, why is the paint section lacking employee support, customer service, etc. As a home improver, I am always making trips to Lowe's for paint, and always run into this problem in the paint section! I asked Vicki, "Can I please get some help in the paint section?" She snapped back, "Someone's already there." "No, no one is at the paint section, can you please send someone over?" I asked. The bad customer service reviews are not surprising! Went in yesterday and to start I asked the woman working self checkout where to find grout, she was so not friendly and like annoyed I dare ask her to look something up. Then I needed help with a mirror, mind you I'm a woman with A BABY. I ask the guy working sitting at checkout doing absolutely nothing and he says hold on and starts typing on his little thing and said someone would come. 10 minutes, nobody came and my baby was getting restless so I grabbed it myself. So I go to self checkout dragging my heavy mirror with my baby and the rude lady watches me and doesn't offer to help at all, after I pay I'm trying to adjust things and mentally prepare to get my baby and my mirror outside and again not a single person working up front offers to help me or call for help but a stranger comes up and offers to help me to my car because nobody else was and tells me he asked for help getting something and the lady told him "there's only one of me so you have to wait" I learned my lesson trying lowes out instead of Home Depot! I ordered a refrigerator online set up drlivery for next day got a recorded call stating that the delivery window would be between one and five about 345. We got a call from the driver stating that he was 15 minutes out from our house after 15 minutes. The guy never showed it was 6 he never showed up. I called Lowe's. They never called me. I tried calling delivery driver. He never answered. They said oh he brought the refrigerator back to the warehouse he didn't have it leveled and it fell in the truck. Never got a phone call never got anything so then we rescheduled another delivery for 2 days later in the meantime, all of our food is sitting inside a cooler with ice . We get another delivery guy shows up at 8 AM starts putting in the refrigerator and realizes that the refrigerator has a broken door. He can't fix it. It won't latch. He tries to put it on the other side of the fridge and it won't latch so he bringa that refrigerator back to the white house so once again I have to call Lowe's and set up another delivery for the next day. and we paid extra to have our old fridge taken in recycled and at that time they tell us that they can't do it that they have to have four guys come in. I'll have to make another appointment for that come pick up that refrigerator Meanwhile, our food is going bad in the cooler cause it's been 4 days now Im just trying to keep as cold as we can so Monday they finally deliver a refrigerator that works and is in good shape. I called corporate asking for some type of compensation for missing work on Friday for missing work on Sunday for having them not call and are three to $400 worth of food that went bad. jake at corporate office much told me I'll give you a $25 e-card which was completely insulting to me for after everything we went through! spending a grand or more for this refrigerator and then offering a $25 e-card no apology. Nothing I will never shop there again horrible business no communication. I was the one making all the calls and having to call corporate. I spent 2 1/2 to 3 hours shopping to try and find everything I need for my job's I need to complete tomorrow I I was just about ready to finish needed to find a cap for the garbage disposal needed a temporary cap until dishwasher was delivered all through the Isles almost every aisle didn't find one associate to help me. I found a cap went back to my basket with about over $300 and items and it was gone. After long hold times and being passed around to several associates, one who identified as a manager initially before admitting she was a cashier, I was getting fed up with false information provided in services and order processes. I asked to speak to Dustin, the manager, and was hung up on before trying one more time and getting Brooke during a shift change. My recent visits have been to the Garden Center only. This Lowe's has plenty of foliage to choose from. I bought a Lot of plants and young trees. They even have a Clearance section of marked down 50% plants. I Bought several of them. Check-out was pretty quick, even with a long line. The employees in there seem to know what they're doing, and with some knowledge of plants and gardening. Great! When I discovered evidence of "mouse" at my place, I decided to play nice. I ordered humane traps off Amazon and waited patiently for weeks, hoping to fill any of the traps I'd set, and looking in them daily to make sure my catch wouldn't die of dehydration. Well... when the darn thing pooped ON TOP of one of the plastic houses, I declared 'war' and beelined to Lowe's for some snap traps. Wouldn't ya know it, within 10 minutes of setting three traps, I caught not one, but two fat buggers! Aside from that, I often come here for random objects: rope, wooden boards, light bulbs... houseplants for gifting, etc. Because I don't have complicated projects, I've been able to find everything I need here. That said, the customer service here is atrocious. Nobody ever offers help, and when I hunt for employees, nobody wants to leave their area or really provide me with any direction. It's forgivable for me, but only because I research as much as I can online before I shop here. No pros and cons, as this is one place to come in, get what I need, and go. read more

We went to Lowe's Oceanside (off the 76) for paint. The employee in paint had just taken a big order & said it would be 20 minutes or so. Or he could call another team member to assist. He called and said someone else would come to help. We stood there for 20 minutes, no additional help. "She never showed up". So he was able to help us. Upon check out we unfortunately had Jasmine check us out instead of self checkout. She was very rude & condescending about the questions we had on the Lowe's rewards program. We called and asked for a manager after we left. Frankie finally came to the phone after we waited 10 minutes on hold. We began to tell her about our experience. She had papers rustling & noise in the background. We asked if it was a good time for her since she wasn't attentive. She said it's always noisy. She didn't apologize for her team members rude behavior. We really wonder if she even was a manger with her attitude & behavior. HUGE, HUGE Coaching opportunities at this store. Whomever is in charge would benefit by coaching their employees to be kind to their clientele..... before they don't have any. We definitely won't be back. After the negative publicity Lowe's has received lately, you would think they would encourage extra effort to be professional & friendly. read more

Unlike the other big box home improvement store which will. Their stores are not convenient to my location and I made the mistake of buying something because I was near one and then ended up not using it so it took me time to get back to one to return the purchase. You know what you're getting when you come here. The place is huge, slightly under staffed and it's really hard to find stuff. I found a trick, if you add your store to their website and search what you need it tells you the isle you need to be in to find it. So when there is low staff, you can still get what you need by yourself. I've had some issues with getting refunds, it took three trips and a couple of calls to corporate for the managers. Although they got it handled, I had to come in three times! Also, if you do a pickup order the website will tell you its ready and the staff is scrambling to get your items when you show up because they haven't actually completed the order. If I'm showing up to pickup, I would hope they gathered it from the shelves and brought it up front but that's rarely the case. The staff scrambles to make things happen, and they look like they're working hard, but the actual flow is chaotic and choppy. It's my local store so I'll be back, but you know....it's always a little frustrating. read more

We have spent over $20,000.00 with Lowe's since September. It's been a very frustrating few months. Today was the last straw for me. I ordered some propane heaters on Lowe's.com. They weren't what I expected so I took them to the store to return. Receiving hand and email receipt ready I stood in line only to be told that they couldn't return my item because they don't carry in their store. Are you kidding me? The receipt says they have hassle free returns for online items. I called the 800 number on my receipt when I got back in my car. I drove home and finally my call was picked up. A super sweet associate waited on the phone with me while I drove back to the store, stood in an even longer line again, and then explained to the kid at the register and the manager how to return my item. This really was some the manager Bridgette should have known how to do. I hate when my time is wasted. I hate when store employer less than helpful. I won't shop at Home Depot and after the last four months of issues (I am still waiting on a door I paid for on 9/4/20) I don't want to give Lowe's anymore of my money. read more
