After waiting for 1 hr and 8 mins, making 2 unanswered calls to customer service, and after asking 4 associates to help and after, one helped me track someone who could help me. That person was on lunch (which is fine, everyone is entitled to lunch). I feel like it could have been so easy to find that out sooner if anyone of those people had just helped a little. This is my go to place for home improvement and gardening supplies/ plants & flowers. Mainly because they offer veterans 10% discount, but I have grow to prefer them over Home Depot. The lay out of the store feels less commercial and easier to locate staff for assistance. We usually have good experience finding knowledgeable associates to help us with questions we may have or suggested on products. In case you didn't know, any lumber bought here they will saw each one up to 3 cuts on their heavy duty saw at the back of the store. I was bummed the last 2 times we visited, the machine was out of order for at least a week. And due to this we had to take our business to the competitor Overall, our experience are usually good, and we will continue to be loyal customers here in the foreseen future. We made an order online and had some issues because we never received the email letting us know it was ready for pickup (should've only taken an hour or two). We called and spoke to Andrew, who sorted us out right away. As soon as we arrived, we called the number on the curbside pickup signs and as luck would have it, Andrew answered! He came out and handled another little snafu with the online ordering so that we were all set. Takeaway-- love online ordering, but nothing beats a real person who can clean up after technical issues with the software. Inside, we saw good indicators of social distancing, and masks were enforced for everyone. However I'll note that the outdoor garden center had social distance indicators, but they were all pushed together, so not really working... Overall though, super happy with the service! read more

I live very close to this Lowe's and love doing home projects in woodworking on the weekends. I come to this Lowe's on average twice a week to pick up various tools, would, and any other random accessories I need for the projects I'm working on. I tend to come in and wander around just looking at all the sales they have and then picking up what I need but on the off chance where I can't find what I'm looking for I need to find an employee for help, sometimes it is difficult at this location. I will say when I do talk to employees they are always very kind and helpful but it is a little difficult to find that time. My wife and I came to this low as a week ago to pick out our Christmas tree for the year and we were amazed by the selection that they had. I know it was a little early, but they had a huge selection of various sizes. Unfortunately we were not able to go into the tent because they hadn't received their permits from the county to do that yet, however the associate asked what we were looking for went in and grabbed a couple trees for us to select. We are very happy with the trees that he pulled out and picked one and brought it home and it looks great! I love coming to Lowe's especially since it's so close to my house and this one is very clean. read more

This is perhaps the closest most convenient home improvement store to my house. I am always immersed in a home improvement project and have learned a long time ago, that as long as I am self-sufficient and don't require any assistance from the staff, a trip to this store is fairly simple and uneventful. Ergo, I try to do all my research online as to the exact name of the rigamaroll I need for the project I am working on. The reason being, I don't even know if they have staff in this store, other than cashiers. I don't think I have ever seen a single employee in this store that is available, willing, and able to assist. Lowe's is a great company but this location seems to have some challenges. This appears to be an older location and the maintenance/cleanliness is not really the same as other store. Like many big giant stores it can be VERY difficult to find someone who works there and then wait to be able to ask for help. Hopefully, they have the answer because if not then you have to start all over again looking for more staff. I understand that to keep prices low they can't have staff waiting all over but I feel there can be a "sweet spot" balance and this store does not seem to have found it as yet. I have ordered from online and pick up in store twice. The first time it went great the second time I was told it was ready but upon arrival I was informed they could not find it and refunded me. Besides, I would have probably ran over the guy in plumbing who was not wearing a mask. "Gee, I'm sorry. That looked like it hurt! You should have worn your mask for prevention!" As you can see, I do not go out to the big box stores. But wanting to re-do some decorating in my apartment, I came here looking for some ideas. And I did find a few items for cleaning. I always felt that these places should give you map when you enter, being how big they are. But I have to admit, if you are looking for an item for home and garden, Lowe's has it. I am very disappointed with the store's service. I came in at first to speak to a manager about my job application, I later realized I needed to buy a few screws and went to ask for help. i encountered a older lady who works there and asked for help, she was helpless told me to go back and look closer into the screws due to the screw isle. I then asked to speak to a manager and she told me to go look for the manager on Isle 2. I went there and I encountered another lady and i asked if she was the manager, she literally just stared at me in silence then proceeded to mumble when I asked about the job, later saying that they weren't hiring and looked away from me and went back to doing what she was doing. Like many of its sister locations staff can be hard to find, so I always recommend pressing the "need help?" button cause a staff member shows pretty quickly then. Staff here has been friendly and helpful with navigating some small DIY projects we've tackled. Given that we're not super hands on fixer upper type people the advice has been amazingly helpful. After purchasing a kitchen sink faucet and paying a plumber for installation, the faucet head ( which has a spray button),started leaking severely. I called and was told the Tucker brand had a lifetime warranty for replacement parts. I ordered a replacement head and when I put it on the spray had no pressure behind it. It wouldn't even work up a suds with soap. After talking to them I was told they may have made some adjustments to the parts. I was told there was nothing more they would or could do. I'm very disappointed with Lowes and will take my business to Home Depot from now on. read more

We used Lowes Home Services to replace 4 doors in our home. What was originally a 3 month project turned to 7. Before our original install date, 3 doors were delivered and support noted the fourth would be brought by the installers. The day of, the store now has no record of the fourth door and when the installers arrive, the 3 doors we do have are the incorrect size and with defects. The installer even noted "This is a complete failure from Lowes." I should have just asked for a refund at that point. It took 2 weeks before the doors were reordered and anyone even apologized or took ownership of the mistake. What followed the next three months was a general lack of communication surrounding the status of our doors and no urgency to correct this as quickly as possible. Eventually, it is discovered the reason the fourth door was not delivered was because it was never ordered, even though it was on our county work permit, in the original sketch of what was to be done, support confirming the door was on the order, and me sitting at my kitchen table picking one out with the sales rep. To the store's credit, they added the fourth door at no charge which was the least they could do. The doors were all installed in May, four months after our original install date and seven months after we started. We had been very clear we would be looking for a refund for a notable portion of the $4400 we paid for this project given the challenges which were entirely Lowe's fault. After all these difficulties, lack of communication, lack of ownership, and lack of apology, the Installation Support Team says a refund of $250 is not only fair, but generous. I have never been more insulted by a company. I used to only shop at Lowes for anything related to our home and considered myself a loyal customer, but never again. Congratulations on not only guaranteeing I will never shop at Lowes again, but also guaranteeing I will actively persuade everyone I know to never shop at Lowes. read more

One of the managers there who was called to help me with a return/refund of a product got really slick and made a smart comment. Questioning why I've waited so long to return the item. I was really seeking help because unfortunately a product i never used that costs $1143 was past due on the return policy and it was actually fraud on my account and I never ordered it in the first place. All I wanted was my money back, I went straight to the bank instead of lowes but this is something that never happened to me and I dont know what to do, it's been sitting in my garage the whole time forgotten. Took delivery of expensive $1000 water heater today. Box arrived in perfect condition. No dents, scratches, nothing. When installers arrived to install, they unboxed the water heater and discovered large dents. I chatted (online) with Lowes customer support and they they told me that since the "box was opened" they could not replace the item. They told me to call A.O. Smith - the manufacturer. A.O. Smith said that their warranty does not cover physical damage that they ship EVERY product in "perfect" condition. If it's damaged then it's someone elses fault. I had no choice at that point but to install the product and hope it worked. As the installation was proceeding, I decided to call Lowes one more time. This time they told me that if I hadn't installed the water heater that I could indeed have returned it. At this point both Lowes and A.O. Smith are pointing fingers at each other and I'm potentially out $1000. Oh! SIlver lining - the Lowes customer service representative felt bad and offered me a $15 gift care for my trouble - I told him to keep it. I have been renovating our home and 90% of the items that I have bought from here have been missing one piece to complete the item...so incredibly frustrating. Sink facet - missing the water stopper. Umbrella stand - missing the screw to tighten the umbrella stand. Hardware - missing screws, etc. I was looking at some string lights today out on one of their shelves and some of the bulbs are missing...if I bought them without looking that would've been yet another trip back to lowes to return/replace an item. I came to this particular location for a fog machine because it said they had it in store. I went to pick it up and the box was damaged. I asked them if it was still going to work and they said yes it shouldn't be a problem and that's the only one they have to take it. I get home, turn it on and it didn't work. I couldn't go the same day because I was getting the house ready for a Halloween Party (that's why I wanted the fog machine). I went the next day to return it and they said my daughter needed to be the one to return because of the original payment. When she went to return it the young girl said because it's a seasonal item they can't take it back. My daughter replied even if it was broken to begin with and the young girl replied yes. If they would have told me that when I picked up the item trust me I would have just left it. It's absolutely ridiculous that I have to keep a broken item that was given to me and lose close to $40 because of it. I definitely won't be coming back to this location. read more

I really want to address the kindness of the staff: The man working behind the paint, on April 9th, 2020 at 6:00pm, was extremely helpful after a negative experience my father and I endured at Home Depot 15 minutes prior. We walked out waiting for the lady to assist us. No this was not me being impatient, this was her lack of kindness for the paying customers who even help support her having a job, that caused us to leave. We walked in and I stood by the "desk". I was standing near the only place where she can enter and exit. My father went to get the gallon of ceiling paint we needed while I waited to be assisted. I needed a color match since Home Depot doesn't carry Sherwin Williams. She was too busy talking with some man who even told a customer he didn't work there he just shows up everyday because he helped her with colors.... He wasn't there buying anything but just walking around aimlessly. She walked past me going in and out down the aisles and has yet to look me in the eyes as if I was an inconvenience to her. Not once in the 15 min I was standing there did she ask if I needed help or even "I'll be with you in a minute". My dad is over 60 years old and was tired and I work in customer service. This honestly was a huge disappointment. We got very upset. My dad left the paint cans on her "desk" since she chose to ignore us the 15 min I was standing there and walked out. We went to Lowe's immediately after. As soon as we walked over the paint area, the man standing behind the "desk" greeted us with a simple "hello". So easy and kind am I right? We told him since he carried the paint color and brand we needed, could he help us and he said "certainly". He helped us with the type of paint and the ceiling paint we were looking for and we were out in less than 10 min. A kind gesture goes a long way and that Home Depot store just lost out on a sale. Lowe's now has our full attention when it comes to business. I've had multiple problems at that store as well as my sister in law has too. We aren't experts at home repairs and can never find the help we need. Lowe's customer service was great. They are a bit further away but I'll drive to them as long as I get treated properly. What in the world happened to this store? This has been my neighborhood hardware store for years, but over the past six months, customer service has plummeted. If I'm lucky enough to find one of the people who have been here for a while, then it's an okay experience (at least until I hit the checkout line), but if I have to go on an off hour (Sundays in particular), it's horrible. I went tonight to buy a number of things for a home improvement project. I checked online, verified availability, and went with a list. I loaded the cart up with a few additional things. Then it came time to get some wire cut. I needed ten feet of 5-strand sprinkler wire to move my irrigation controller. There was no one on the floor. I walked up and down the corridors looking for someone to help me, but I was out of luck. After about 10 minutes, someone went behind the desk of the electrical department. I can assure you, he didn't seem happy to see me. I told him what I needed, and he said "They sell it in a roll." I said that I understood that, but I only needed ten feet, I didn't want to buy a 50-foot roll, and the inventory showed they had nearly 1200 feet in stock. We walked over to the wire, and the spool I wanted was empty. He walked away for a few minutes, came back, and told me they were out of that wire, and he walked me to the end of the next aisle - to sell me a 50-foot roll. At this point, I was done. I would have gone with a 7 or 12 strand cable (which were on the spools) had he offered, but I can't give this place my business anymore. They lost a nearly $200 dollar sale (just today) because their associate was too bothered to refill the empty spool. I did speak to a manager before I left, but he just told me that, yes, he came from another store and he understood my frustration. He also said a new management team at the location was trying to turn things around. I went home, ordered most of the stuff I needed online, and I'm heading to Home Depot to get the rest. I'm also going to have Home Depot color match the remaining six gallons of Valspar paint I need to buy for the rest of the house. Based on how few registers they have open and how few people they have on the floor, it looks like they can't afford to staff this location adequately. Delays are a matter of course when it's time to checkout, and when the self-checkout is closed, get ready to really wait. read more

I bought a husqvarna chainsaw and it lasted 1 week. took the chain guard off to replace the chain (and the bolt that holds it on is installed from the inside) and the bolt fell inside the engine. Had to have one so like a dummy I went and bought another one. It lasted one day! Push the prime bubble on the side as many times as you want, it doesn't get fuel to the carburetor. On both occasions I tried to contact husqvarna many and many of times only to find out they have a no human contact policy. Tried to warrenty online and their website kept spinning to anything but warrenty. called husqvarna dealers and they said they wouldnt warrenty them. so I threw 2 brand new saws in the garbage. Save yourself money and a lot of headaches, just buy a st like I ended up doing. Just a little bit more upfront but easily 5 times the saw. Shame on husqvarna for no hum contact policy. read more
