Lowe's has lost me as a customer forever! Your CC service company Synchrony Financial is ruining your reputation. Bought a new house got a Lowes CC with 4500 limit. Used most of it to do some remodeling. Did the same at Home depot and a few other cards to do all the work we wanted to do to the house before we moved in. Long story short, while paying on my CC's no late or missed payments ever, 100% on time pay history on credit file. Lowes decided to close my consumer card with them when I had no lates, 19 days left in my bill cycle all because after a recent credit review (I guess?) my score was considerably lower due to credit utilization almost 90%. Lowes closed my account and notified me after that due to credit changes on my credit file they reassessed and closed my account. I'm welcome to reapply in the future. (NOT!) LOWES will never get another dollar from me or any of my family or friends if I have any input. Home Depot gets all my business now, plus they are better priced anyway! read more

I purchased a Kohler shower spout and attempted to put it on. Seemed pretty straightforward. Watched a YouTube video and then went to work. After installation I turned on the faucet and water sprayed everywhere. Took it back off, reinstalled it and same result. I then called a plumber out to replace the spout. I had to pay the plumber $100 to install the spout. He saw the one I had purchased from Lowe's and told me there was a part missing on the inside of the spout. So I returned the one I could have installed myself - after paying a plumber to come and install the identical part. Only I am out $80 now!!! I told the woman at customer service that the spout did not have all the parts. She took the spot without marking anything on it and threw it back in a bin that said plumbing. I wonder if someone will re-purchase the defective spout after I returned it - no one at Lowe's cares!!! Repeat - NO ONE at Lowe's care!!! read more

I'm surprised by the low reviews for this Lowes location, only because I've been here several times and have found the staff to be very friendly and totally knowledgeable about pretty much everything. I moved here from NYC, and I have been shocked by the level of service I get here compared to NY. Whenever I have had a question about the plants I purchase or gardening in AZ, the associates in gardening are able to answer all my questions and even help me carry plants to the register. I have bought lighting here as well and the associate in lighting spent 5 minutes explaining and recommending lighting options to me because I was unfamiliar with the products. We have also cut wood here and found that the associates in wood cutting were also experienced in picking wood for projects. At the register the employees check us out politely and quickly. My one complaint would be that the bathroom is all the way in the back of the store, unlike all of the other Lowes I have been to. :/ read more

Ok, I did get response from both the national Lowe's website customer care and the manager of this location within 2 days. The manager did apologize, admitted his employees were misinformed, stated the issue was addressed with the employees and that the problem would not happen again. However, considering I received about 3 different stories from the employees and the manager was not specific in his email, I still have no idea what the rental policy is at Lowe's for the item I wanted to rent. I will give them an extra star for responding and stating they have addressed the issue, but will be in no rush to return to Lowe's. I believe I have found another source for the equipment and materials I need, now I just need to find the time extra help to do the project... read more

Wow, I'm a bit surprised by these reviews. This Lowes is noticeably slower than the nearby Home Depot (a block to the East), but it's kind of a nice change. At HD, there's always a few employees asking if you need help finding an item, which can be a bit overbearing. So I enjoy the less-frantic pace and fewer crowds here. The prices seem a little higher though. They also carry basic pool supplies, which is nice. read more

We purchased all of our appliances at Lowes but something as simple as a dishwasher purchase and install has been an ongoing nightmare for months now. My kitchen remodel has become a BIG FRUSTRATING project due to delay after delay after delay. The staff is very helpful, however upper management must be very poor. The staff is not able to tell me for weeks now when all cabinets would be delivered or the installation will take place. I sometimes call 4 times a day and the only answer the staff can give me is "I don't know". It's been 8 weeks now, and I still do not have all the cabinets delivered, however they have been paid at the time of order. read more

Remarkably bad contractor services at this store, folks after two failed attempts to replace two patio sets of doors, I am warning this store stinks! Long story short I had to replace one set of patio doors upstairs one set downstairs, I had to pay upfront for both sets besides paying the required cost for a "professional" to measure them, great, then I waited several weeks, they never showed up I called the mill number at the store and the lady working on my order (for the second time) set up an install date, that install date came and went without even a curtesy call, nothing! I called back the next day to find out what was going on I was informed the gal working on my order transferred to another store the very day I called in last....duh! So I went back to the store searching for help, finally someone told me the doors did come in but were the wrong doors, he asked did I still want to reorder them.......hell no! Why would I torture me and my family again with these crappy contractors! Got my refund and ran out that store forever, enough is enough! read more

This is the most disappointing home improvenment store I have been to. 9 out of 10 employees will give an easy way out excuse to not help you, "oh I am not in that department" or "I just came from a different state". Yes, that last one I could not believe an employee told me that. One thing I really like about this particular store is their glass cutting center, however you literally have to drag an employee to actually help you get your glass scored and cut. I would really appreciate if Lowe's, in general, could provide more education and training with their employees because customer satisfaction is plummeting each time I go there. read more

On Thursday of last week I stopped at the Lowe's facility in Peoria. I was seeking a small patio table to match a set we bought over a year ago at Lowe's in Scottsdale. The table was not in stock but within a few minutes a Lowe's employee had it ordered, paperwork done, and promise it would be shipped in approx 3 days. To my surprise the table arrived at my house around noon on Saturday. 48 hours total from order to delivery is pretty darn good! I am sorry I did not get employees name but he was great and the service obviously was just as great. read more

Just waited 23 minutes at the paint counter. No service yet. My guys drove over to get the job site keys, still no service. There is an employee meeting going on at the paint counter and they've all seen me standing here but nobody seems to care. I just wanted to drop off my paint sample and surf the tool isle while i wait but now I'm on my way to Home Depot. I'm going to Lowes in Estero over 12yrs. I'm planning to sell my Florida house after my Husband of 49 yrs. passed away. I hired Lowes to install a wood floor in the master-bedroom . After the installer guys left, I notice there is a trance noise as I' m walking in the room. First I thought it was my shoe, so I took it off and walked all over in the room,same noise. I called Lowes one of the instolation manager I talked to He sounded concern but had no solution. He was saying something like " give it a little time see if 's going away" How much time ? I asked. Couldn't say." A few weeks , a month. " Under the floor is a thin layer of foam . They reaction like this never happened before!! So I'm thinking what should happen in a few weeks or a few months? This foam is going to break down? That is what will stop this noise? If It's breaking down they shouldn't sell it!! When they recomended to Me they forgot to mansion the noise!!! After talking to a second Manager at the store they sand out another installer. He walked around notice the noise but didn't found it a " big" deal!! Would one installer say anything bed thing about the other instoller's work ? Of course NOT!!! He was here a few days ago to do the checkupI didn't hear from Lowes yet!! I'm a very unhappy customer! Can they admit they made a mistake and fix it? No mistake done? Then u new this is going to happen? No one said a word. They didn't give Me a choice!! Went to Lowe's on Black Friday I thought it be crazy I was able to grab all I needed very helpful good service no lines to cash out.

We had spent a Sunday afternoon planning and designing our dream kitchen. A fellow named Colin was great. Very insightful and very knowledgeable. We got a great feeling from this experience and very excited for this to happen. On our way out we paid the required $75 for measurement fee. But after that things got really rocky. We got the measurement appointment scheduled. A gentleman came out and measured very professional had s Lowes polo shirt. Later after the measurements were taken I received another phone call from a contractor stating that he was from lowes and would like to schedule a measuring. Wait what!? I told him we just had it done that day. He identified himself professionally and said he received an order to call. At this point ( and even now) I'm not sure Who i invited into my home. Feeling a little freaked out I called lowes and asked to speak to our guy Colin...well since our design appointment he " is no longer employed" by Lowes. I spoke to the lady in installed sales after several attempts and no returned messages after a couple weeks I finally connected. Turns out they promised that job to the second guy. I stated ok, I wanted them to contact the first guy and get more info on him. One week goes by , nothing, I call. Again several attempts and no returned messages. I had enough. One Lowes associate filling for installed sales finally answered and stated they were really busy and provided more excuses even to state that It was Memorial Day weekend., it was Friday mid-day... They already had a week to contact them. The decision for me to cancel a $12,000 project ( not including appliances witch I planned on buying from them as well) was immediate. I went to the store for my $75 refund. They stated they were sorry this happened but followed with another excuse that it a " contractor we don't normally use". The worst place you can go to. The reason why is the customer service HORRIBLE they look at you and walk away. The employees there just pass you on to another employee. this review is concerning the installation department and services for this store. On the week of 8/10 I had $5,500 worth of doors installed, up until this point, my point of contact (salesman) was easy to get a hold of, after the installation, there was a 1/4" - 1/2" gap under the french doors, and the installers immediately pawned it off as a manufacturer error, and said the manufacturer would have to fix it. The manufacturer was contacted, and there was a miscommunication as to what was needed, and there was no longer any communication from my point of contact. I had to make several calls to get the installers back, and they had brought the incorrect part sent by the manufacturer (see miscommunication above) and they phoned into their supervisor and once again said it was a different part. Both times the installers said they needed an adjustable threshold, I heard them. So I decided to call the installation department supervisor myself, since my salesman was MIA, and she looked at my customer records and went straight to the manufacturer's fault line again, and said she would have someone call me in a couple hours to get this resolved...that was a week ago, and I have not heard a peep & I still have an unacceptable gap under my doors. I have been out of town for a funeral, in case you were wondering why I've waited a week for a call. read more

on 8/21/18 went to buy some patio doors. waited 40 minutes to get anyone to help me. The guy that came, I wish he did not. He had zero knowledge about anything, and his answer to everything is "its a special order" which of course is not as the product is carried in all their stores. He also said that the only time they deliver is when they are installing, which of course was not correct. So i choose to go to a different store get those specific doors. One door; however, I purchased there because it was on sale, and two days later when I came to pick-up the already paid for door, I waited one hour to get the door, and after loading it on my truck, they came out to tell me its the wrong door, even though, it is the same door that I purchased, so i had to unload it and load a new one again. Customer service terrible, people not knowledgeable and help terrible. Not only are the employees once you find one bed for customers but they are also bad for Lowe's as they drive customers away and to close neighbor Home Depot. read more

Absolute worst customer service with the night crew at this store! I have shopped here for many years. I have bought Windows, vanities, flooring tile, closet organizers and well pretty much anything in between from this store. The few times I have gone in at night the customer service has been non-existent. Tonight was no exception. I went on to buy a new range for my kitchen, after waiting 20 min somebody finally came over. He was helpful I will say. When I go up front to pay for my invoice the little girl just acts as though I am bothering her on her day off. No hello how are you, how can I help you... Just a look an one word.. "Ya" in a very snotty tone. Which was pretty much the tone of the entire transaction. This is not the first time I have received this behavior from the eav crew at this store. bought a shed from them and the install didn't go very good and the installer said I had a broken door latch so left it like that. I called lowes and told them I needed a new latch and all I got was a run around and told they would get back to me . well months later still no word. also went last weekend to buy flowers and was told if I wanted to look at flowers outside I had to go all the way back out front door because they didn't want to open the garden doors yet . did I mention it was well passed opening time. worst place ever and now I am dedicated to home depot. read more

Customer service kept answering the phone and helping those customers and ignoring the customers in front of her she started helping. Help never came. I drove 10 miles to this Lowe's as they were the only location with the item I needed in stock. I arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night and there were very few (2-3) other customers in the store. I proceeded to walk the length of the store, up and down several aisles, multiple times. Whenever I approached a Lowe's employee for assistance, they would look down and walk away as if they did not see me. It would have been comical if it was not so frustrating. I went to the Customer Service desk where there were 2 female employees and asked the tall, thin girl with the pony tail if there was someone available to help me. Instead of a "Yes" answer, she asked what I was looking for and directed me to an aisle. I told her I had already been down that aisle 3 times and no further assistance was offered. The employees Diego, Mike, and the short girl with the long dark hair were worthless. They were more into visiting with each other than helping customers. The tall dark haired woman at the register could see me walking up and down aisle 10 and made no offer to help nor ask me on my way out of the store if I found what I was looking for. I started removing items from a display and setting them on the floor thinking someone would come over to ask me what I was doing (I was trying to trick someone into helping me), but nobody cared or acknowledged what I was doing. When I went out to the parking lot Mike or Diego (they looked alike) was hanging out with the short, dark haired girl. When they saw me, they acted like the two of them were bringing one shopping cart back into the store. I have been completely unsatisfied with purchasing a sliding glass door for my house. I ordered it in November of last year and it arrived when they said it would in about 6-8 weeks. I scheduled the install and Pella did not send the correct screens for my doors. The installer completed the install except he left the wrong size screens in my garage and said he would order the correct screens and I would be contacted to schedule the new install (that was in January of 2018) In March I still had not rec'd the correct screens, after many many phone calls to Lowes I found out they were never ordered. They finally arrived and scheduled the install and for the installer to fix a few issues from the original install. When he arrived he installed the correct screens but he could not fix the installation error without getting new handles. He said he would order them to correct the issue. That was in June. It is now September and I still have not heard back from them. The customer service when calling into Lowes to try to get any information is horrible. This is there installer that they selected for the install. I wish I would have gone with another company. Lowes was not the cheapest or the most expensive so this is not a cost factor. This is pure poor customer service and poor installation. I expect better from a company. Pella or Lowes won't return my calls. read more

What a scam. Never order the 89 install. Better yet don't buy here go to Home Depot. We took up the carpet, filled in all the holes from the tack strip and had a friend who does floors level the floor for us. The area was checked with a laser level and was good to go. The installer got there today with orders and a note that said "may need leveling" from the guy who measured the floor (he had his grinder with him ready to go). They refused to install the floor saying it will void the warrantee and wanted another $375 to install. Even though the floor had been laser leveled. When I asked exactly how far off level it was he said ummm, umm well it's not level. I asked three times and finally he said it's over 1/4 inch off in 3 places using a six foot level. That was the best he could do but not before I harassed an answer out of him. The guy who was there was actually pretty nice. Its not his fault he works for a company like this I'm sure. Between Lowes and the guys boss no one seemed to care about anything but getting an extra buck. I will never use them again. I should have gone with my gut instinct and stayed with Home Depot. read more
