Ticket 2320315690 Purchased a refrigerator on 5/27 for 1699. plus tax. Rumbling rattle noise is coming from back of fridge since installed. I talked with an agent at 6pm tonight who asked me to move fridge and inch or so away from the wall and wait about an hour and callback if the noise doesnt stop. Called back 3 times. The first 2 times got hung up on this time still on hold now for 18 min! Is this your idea of problem solving?????? The vibrating noise has happened at 605PM,623PM, 717PM,750PM,756 PM !!!! More than often this is a go to place. But doesn't have to try very hard to beat the competition. During a pandemic they are not enforcing mask use, just encouraging their use. I purchased a washer there with warranty had the washer for a year and it broke down. had to use the warranty. Lowe's sent two different companies. first one never showed the second company came to the house and stated the control panel needed to be replaced. 2 weeks past and get an email saying they could not repair it due to the part not in stock so they sent back a refund. went to the store and I had to pay for delivery and installation along with haul of the old washer. it cost me more this time around. mind you all the money I spent at the laundry mat for over a month. d I have to buy new warranty for this washer as well.. My idea of home improvement is painting my bedroom windows black and cutting up stray Nerf balls that land in my front yard*. My dad, however, is an amateur handyman and loves taking on little projects. When he heard that I needed a custom-built stand to house several vintage game consoles, he suggested I join him at the local Lowe's, so off we went. My experience today was limited to the plywood section, so I can offer no comment on the rest of the store. All I know is that the aisles were clear, the varieties of plywood were labeled clearly, and the employees were eager to offer assistance. One young employee even offered to cut the wood at no additional cost, a service I would not have expected. The dimensions I required were apparently a bit unorthodox, but the employee managed to cut every piece required out of a single sheet of plywood, minimizing waste and maximizing value. During checkout, the cashier noticed my dad's Marine Corps jacket and gave him a 10% military discount, bringing my total to a mere $31 for the wood, super glue, and a box of nails. I'm not sure what the competition charges, but I can't imagine a much better deal than that. I'm not sure why this particular Lowe's has such a low overall rating. Most commentary on this platform offends my grammarian sensibilities, so I can't be bothered to read the other reviews. The negative reviews are probably hastily written diatribes about "rude" employees and decapitations (amateur ceiling fan installations gone awry) . But I digress. I purchased multiple pkgs of A/C filters over 90 days ago. I have since had to replace my A/C unit and it uses a different size filter. I have 1 unopened/undamaged pkg of filters which I wanted to exchange for the new unit. I was told that they would not exchange the filters because the purchase was over 90 days old. It is not like they would loose any money because I needed to purchase the correct size filters and they would resell my returned ones. I have purchased carpet for 2 houses as well as several appliances and bathroom vanities from this store but if this is how they want to do business I will no longer be shopping there. read more

I am writing this review regarding the Lowe's store located at 11333 Bandera, SA, TX. Where to begin? Back in November of '23 my husband and I purchased a brand-new washer & dryer with pedestals from Lowe's, total cost including insurance was approximately $2600. I had washer & dryer installed by Lowe's, or so I thought Apparently when you buy appliances at Lowe's they hire out third-party contractors to install. Anyway, washer & dryer w pedestals were installed by their third-party contractors. Long story short, washer was improperly installed and caused major floor damage after washer leaked. In addition, dryer had a slow leak on the steam kit whenever I would use it, which by the way I have a video of. I have been dealing with Lowe's and their third-party contractor for six months now and have not been able to get my flooring replaced. Initially Lowe's lead me to believe they would replace flooring and we even had a Lowe's rep come to the house to give me an estimate for the flooring. Lowe's estimate was $7,000. Well, apparently Lowe's cannot just replace flooring, it has to go through this third-party contractor they hired. Third-party contractor is saying they were not responsible, and Lowe's is saying it's the third-party contractor's fault. Six months later neither Lowe's or their third-party contractor are willing to fix my floors. Well, if I bought washer & dryer from Lowe's I expect Lowe's to be responsible for the the people they hire to install their applicances. I have been e-mailing and calling Lowe's customer care, their third-party contractor, and whoever will listen to me but now they have completly ghosted me. I even had one manager at the Lowe's customer care refuse to take my call and told the receptionist who answered the phone to tell me she wasn't going to get on the phone because she couldn't help me and that my case was closed. Talk about being unprofessional!! I am at a loss because as a consumer I expect that when I buy something at Lowe's and there is something wrong w a product that I buy of theirs or that if they have an appliance installed incorrectly they would make this right. My floors were perfectly fine before I bought my new washer & dryer and now I will have to replace my floors out of pocket. My $2600 washer & dryer is now costing me $7,000. Just left the Lowe's off of bandera rd and I am in shock of how great the service was... the young lady and two young men working the rug/home decor section on 8/20 were wonderful!! The only persons name I got was Chet's and he was so nice, he is going places with his customer service skills, made everything so convenient for me, helped me load and waited to take my cart back for me while I emptied and got my baby in my truck. I have been to a lot of Lowe's and spent a lot of money at Lowe's due to my family's construction company and this has by far the best location and service so far ! This would've been a 5 star review if we had received the same customer service from the other employees as we received from Ashley. I hope that I'm correct on her name. We tried several times on the past six months to have blinds trimmed for the windows in our new home. Every time we went in, we were told the machine wasn't working by employees that ran away as fast as they could. We ended up going elsewhere after we heard different excuses from different employees. Went in the pick up fence material with my parents and the associate who was helping was already rude. We asked for a manager so we can get the product and leave. Ricardo was the one who came and was even more rude than the associate. He said my fathers invoice for fence material was invalid and would not let us leave with PAID material. Humiliating in front of other customers as if we were trying to steal but the invoice was show As proof and still denied us the material that we had already paid for. I purchased a fridge from Lowe's. The delivery was great until we looked closely at it and discovered multiple scratches on the freezer door. The ice bucket is also missing from the ice dispenser inside the freezer. When I called Lowe's to speak with them about how to remedy the situation an associate named Dora was rude, unapologetic, fairly unhelpful. She put me on hold then came back in a rush and said I have the display ice bucket you can come and get. Then I said what about the scratches on the freezer door? She said I don't know, do you want to get a new freezer door or do you want a whole new fridge. I said, I paid enough money for this fridge can we just switch it out for a new one, scratch free & with the ice bucket? She put me on another 10 minute hold to come back and say OK well order you a new fridge and left it at that. After a brief silence I asked her if she had a rough estimate of maybe when this would take place and she said I'll do the paperwork and get back to you. Lol, her lack of customer service skills is pretty bad. I normally have a pretty decent experience shopping at Lowe's and doing business with them, this was the worst I've ever experienced. Worst shopping experience I went to order windows but there was no one available to help. Multiple employees acknowledged that I needed help but someone else would do it. I sat for over 30 min without anyone coming to help me order. I walked to the front of the store and one of the employees that had seen me asked " oh no one has gone to help you yet" he signaled to a co-worked to help me I told him I needed help with windows he's tells me well I don't know anything about windows. I left the store and drove to Home Depot. You need better customer service and better trained employees that actually want to work. The only difference between this place and its orange cousin is the selection. If you like the brands this store has, you'll be happy but if they do not have the brands you seek, you'll be disappointed. That said, the staff is almost always helpful and the selection is good. Other than their lack of Coke products and the occasional employee who is in a bad mood, I don't have any major complaints about this place and you will find most anything you need to complete that home (or commercial) including advice. There is no anti-gun signage at this store so shoppers can feel safe. read more

Poorly managed Lowe's. They are a total disaster with organization and customer service. Don't even try to call them, they will never answer even at 6am. Most other businesses, I would give them a pass due to covid and understaffing, but Lowe's has been opened and thriving through the pandemic, they should be able to now (in late June) have a handle on the increase of traffic/ customer needs. Waited in customer service for 20 min to pick up an order (we were the only ones in line when we got there) when 1 of the 6 workers that were just standing around finally asked for "next in line" I gave him my order number. I asked if he could check me out for this $3.99 paint sample I already had in my hand with my credit card ready, and he said "no, could you go to self check out, seeing as we have a line here" are you serious? THEN he called for a manager to get keys to where our pick up order was, that took another 30 minutes because they couldn't find where the item was locked in. This is on top of me trying to call the day before. Trump supporters or not, I think I'll just go to Home Depot or the Lowe's in Alamo ranch. read more

This was the worst shopping experience I have ever had at Lowe's. The lumber department had a line of people at the saw for over 30 minutes. The person in front of the line went to the "Pro Cashier" 3 times to ask for her to call someone and no one showed up. That customer left and then I walked up to the associate and he was bundling an order up and he tells me he will be there in a minute...took him close to 10 minutes to finally come help the line of customers. I finished getting my items that I needed and go to the "pro cashier" (she didn't have a name tag on so I don't know her name.) Was looking for the barcode on the plywood that I was buying and there wasn't one and she goes to her book and just tells me that it is $28.53. I told her that I was marked for $20.53. She tells me that I am wrong. She told me to go and take a picture of the price tag and bring it to her, so I do and when I return she is still telling me that I am wrong. I ask to speak with the Manager and she calls the "Head Cashier" not the manager. When the "Head Cashier" comes, she gets her cashier's side of the story before coming to talk to me. I then have to take her all the way back there AGAIN to show her where I got the board and shoe her the price listed. She tells me that it must be ringing up wrong, but she'll finally fix it. I tell her that I took a picture of the price and showed that cashier, but she had refused. Whoever the cashier what was working at the Pro line on 1-2-2021 at 2:45pm really needs a class on how to talk to people. This entire process took about 2 hours after all the waiting.
