My wife and I have been shopping this location for almost 19 years now and have always had what I would consider a pleasant and fair customer experience. We have made many thousands of dollars of purchases over the years including a full suite of Samsung stainless steel kitchen appliances, matching Samsung washer and dryer with pedestals, several rooms of StainMaster carpet, a Weber gas grill and all sorts of lighting and plumbing products and power tools. More than once the sales associates stepped up voluntarily to gave us discounted deals on washer and dryer pedestals, grilling accessories, free appliance installation and haul away, etc. But I was really surprised yesterday when I stopped in to pick up a couple of fence pickets that I messed up during installation. These are hard fiber manufactured products that are extremely difficult to cut and drill using standard hand tools. The sales associate I spoke to (I won't include his name in case he gets called out for this) was understanding and sympathetic about the problems I was having and made some helpful suggestions about how to solve my problems. But most amazingly he also gave me at no cost a couple of replacement pickets to use in place of the ones I screwed up. I don't know if Lowe's empowers its employees to make this call or if the sales associate took it upon himself to side with "the little guy" but moments like this are what keeps me going back to this location. read more

We spent approximately $47,000 on Pella windows and sliding doors through Lowe's and, five months later, the project is still NOT complete. From the beginning, this has been on issue after another. Products arrived and were measured wrong by Lowe's team. We were missing handles for two out of the three sliding doors as well. After being mistreated by the store manager, Jason, we escalated this to upper management where they stated the windows would be remade and expedited along with the door handles. Six weeks later, the next set of windows arrived severely damaged and could not be installed, once again. What has been even more disappointing than the product issues is the complete lack of customer service. Management at this store has been dismissive, smug, and unwilling to take any ownership to the major mistakes made. Calls and emails often go unanswered, or put through multiple people because no one can handle anything. As a customer who made a significant investment in our home, we expected professionalism, communication, and accountability. Instead, we have spent months chasing answers while living with an unfinished project and damaged projects. As of today, this matter remains unresolved. We gave Lowe's every opportunity to make this right, but the experience has been infuriating, exhausting, and far below what anyone should expect from a company of this size. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Lowe's for windows or doors to carefully research their installation process and service department before making a major purchase. This location is on their fourth set of installation contractors, the one who was here said he just gave his two week notice becuase half of the jobs have this exact issues. I have been coming to this Lowe's for years since I flip homes in the valley, and today I walked in for a simple purchase (disinfecting wipes). As I walked to the register, I stopped by the section where they have Stanley cups on display just to look. Before I knew it, I heard the customer service manager (Sean) behind me asking what item I was thinking of getting. I grabbed the one I was eyeing and, before I could say anything further, he took it from my hands, scanned it on his handheld tablet, gave it back to me, and said, "Here you go. It's all yours. I'll let the cashier know it's on me." I was so surprised and speechless! I've always had very friendly and attentive service when coming here, but this was next level. Horrible customer service from I'm assuming the store manager. Bald and had a beard. Already on the defense without hearing me. And he honestly made me feel embarrassed for even asking. I actually started tearing up. Went in to try to get another box of epoxy (wasn't even 24 hours after purchasing the original box) because the one I picked up from them was defective. He said "sorry that's not our company!" What's not your company? The brand that you sell in your stores? We had epoxy done and used the exact same brand and color but used two separate boxes of the EXACT SAME BRAND AND COLOR. Did not have anyone tint the epoxy so it was literally the box kit straight off the shelf. Zero stars if I could. I went in with my grandparents a month ago to buy a dishwasher after our had stopped working. Sean Todd who is the older ASM had an attitude from the start and didn't want to help us but rather go back into his office because "it's not his job to help customers" after getting help. Sean had come back after disappearing for 7 minutes and came back to a funky smell and his eyes were now red in color. (You be the judge) we had an unfortunate family passing a week after, going back into that store he came up to us and started harassing us about the death of my family member. I actually used to love Lowe's. I thought it was a great store with great customer service. My ongoing experience since December 2023 has changed everything I once used to enjoy about this store. On December 2, 2023, we purchased a new pit boss pro series black triple function grill combo. It was due to be assembled and delivered on December 11th, between the hours of 11am and 4pm. It finally arrived at 6:30 pm. In the morning, when there was daylight, we realized the igniter was jammed, one of the burners wouldn't light manually, and the Pit Boss itself was damaged. There wasn't any assistance offered on the phone for days, so we physically walked into the FLW store one week later. They turned us away and sent us to the McDowell location because they were out of stock. The Mcdowell store sent us back to the original store where we made the purchase. There was no accountability, an overall lack of professionalism, and bouncing us back and forth because no one wanted to deal with the damaged product that they delivered. It was a struggle to get them to agree to pick up the damaged grill on January 1, 2024. Once that day came, they did not call and no showed. We had to reschedule them to come out January, 2. On January 6th they attempted to deliver a new grill but it too was damaged. Lowe's Scottsdale location on FLW promised to make it right but now our grill was coming from Peoria on January 8th and the manager confirmed that it would be delivered today January 15th. Again, it came dented (the delivery guy even took pictures) and the igniter on the first burner does not work. THREE deliveries. THREE damaged grills. The customer service of Lowe's has been a nightmare. I would not recommend this store to anyone. read more

What a clown show. I ordered binds from here and paid to have them professionally measured beforehand. Well they measured wrong and they showed up a 1/2" to short. Since then it's been one hassle after another to get things right. The store manager Jason said he would have the window manager call which didn't happen. BEWARE: DO NOT ORDER WINDOWS Thousands of dollars in windows, waiting 8 months. Originally claimed they would be installed in 6-8 weeks. When the install date came only half of the windows showed up to install the first day. Installer claims that the other half were incorrectly ordered by lowes. The 4 that were installed have blemishes marks all over. There is brown caulk all over the frames, installers attempted to fix corners with visible glue and caulk, looks terrible. Cannot get anyone to respond from lowes about the matter. No communication whatsoever. Have not heard about when the other windows will be installed. I'd give no stars if I was able. We purchased French doors and paid for the installation back in October... right before Halloween it was installed . Come to find out the door was warped and would t close properly. The installers said they would take pics and send them to Lowe's , which they never did.... We were also told they would contact Lowe's so they could make it right- that didn't happen either! We contacted Lowe's directly and are still trying to get the issue resolved! An entire 32 months has passed and we are still waiting for the door to be replaced... we had to contact them - send the pics- contact them again and again and still NO REPLACEMENT! On top of all that the doors are not sealed - we've had bugs come in for to that as well and I'm pretty sure our energy bill has been affected. The installer called sometime before Thanksgiving and scheduled the install and said they would have the new door with them ..... I stall was supposed to happen today 12/16/2024... well that didn't happen and again had to contact them and when we called the lady said that the appt was for them to get pictures ?!?!?! WHAT?!?! Then she said "oh wait , I have the pics!" So here we are still with no door waiting to be contacted by LOWES once again . The fact that it's been 2 months with no solution is far beyond disappointment its OVER THE TOP RIDICULOUS! Lowe's has put us off over and over and keeps having someone call us to tell us that someone will be in touch - well that NEVER HAPPENS! I like Lowe's but not for big projects anymore. Projects don't get completed in 90 days. I had my electrician install a switch for my finished remodeled bathroom. Had the bought the fan and switch at the same time. The switch was a dud when he went to install. Maybe 6 months. I was not even given store credit for it. How can you be a hardware store and not have a good refund policy? Homedepot takes anything back no matter how long because they do real construction work. If you have a remodel Lowe's is not the place. Really disappointed lose a customer over $25 is poor service. read more

Didn't get greeted through the door like at other Lowes/Home Depot. Didn't get offered assistance even though the store was completely empty. Omicron surge RIGHT NOW and the condescending staff wear their masks dangling beside their ears instead of covering their mouths and nose. This is all over the store. As I walk out yesterday, a friendly receipt checker with a heavy accent (maybe Eastern European) tries to chat me up in a friendly way saying, "you're walking out empty handed." I told her why: 50% of the workers don't have their masks on. Amazing response I got from her: "Oh, that's not right. Show me who isn't wearing a mask. We're all supposed to." I then ask her which one is the manager. She points to a guy not wearing his mask. Rather, his mask is hanging near his jugular from one ear so he can talk (and cough) freely to a customer. Scottsdale Lowe's you get an "F" for safety. (Ironically, the Apache Junction store has a big sign out front requiring everyone to wear a mask and going into that store was 10 times more pleasurable than the Scottsdale store. So much for the bias and discrimination about the Apache Junction crowd. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THIS MONTH. Gosh, where do I begin... I purchased 2200$ worth of butcher block. It was going to take 3 wks to arrive. The website said a week. This delayed our home construction a month by the time the contractor could begin. The two managers at the Scottsdale Az location both told me theyd call me back. Theyd try to rerout the wood and neither of them followed thru and called me back. Then I called again and followed up. Sure sure.. both said, "We'll do our best to call the 1950 w baseline store and get the wood delivered. No call back. The one mgr said shed re rout the wood from another store. Then 3 days I called her on a friday and she said ill call you back by Monday. Nope! I called on Monday and Christina was on vacation! Gone for 4 days. So I informed Sean..the other mgr. He said he'd try to call and pick up where she'd left me. Again, he never called me back. The wood wasnt delivered until today. Almost 3 weeks later. Then..theres more! *** I had ordered all new kitchen appliances and saved for 2 yrs to update my kitchen. The microwave came with missing mounting parts. Called and asked to be transfered to Marc, the appliance supervisor. Was told I only had 2 days to report this. Spent $2400 and was originally told if there were any issues I could just call and theyd deliver a new one. Asked to speak to Marc, the mgr of appliances who sold thrm to me. Was put on hold four times, phone rang and rang.. wasted 17 mins waiting. I called back 4 more times and same thing-- someone told me to hold. Customer service kept transfering me and same thing..just rang and rang. Was on hold for another 13 mins..again, NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE. I CALLED BACK AND demanded to speak to the manager. DEIDRE a mgr transfered me again. 2 more times customer service again DID NOT pick up. The 3 store managers were worthless and the entire experience has been awful. I spent a total of 6k and if I could I'd dump all the items in front of their store and deny the charges on my credit card. Way to go Lowes! NEVER USE LOWES UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND DEAL WITH INCOMPETENT MGRS!
