Customer service lacking ! Ordered in the store a washer / dryer. They forgot to include stacking kit. Delivery and install guys showed up and couldn't install. Went back to get stacking kit and redo install. Then the guys came back, they couldn't do the install because they said I needed a different hose. Went to Lowe's and they said it's the correct hose. But there can't rebook install. Gave me a number to call! Called the number and was told they can't do it. So now we have to spend close to $400 for install! I'll never again shop at Lowe's! I'll get my appliances elsewhere! We even tried to speak to a manager and they wouldn't deal w this! This Lowe's fails ! read more

Lowes is my go to for most of my houseplants and gardening supplies. There is always a nice variety of houseplants at reasonable prices and this location is less than a mile from my home. We have purchased appliances and other household and home improvement items here and are very pleased with the level of customer service we receive. Most of the employees we encounter are pleasant and helpful. During our last couple of visits, my husband and I have had the pleasure of having Amy help us at checkout. She is always friendly, helpful and definitely leaves us with a positive shopping experience. We were so excited to see her picture on the wall as employee of the month a few days ago. He gave me a couple options on a repair & reducing problems I had with minimal working space. Having knowledgeable employees in the the right departments really helping customers. If you are considering replacing your interior or exterior doors, I strongly urge you to avoid Lowe's. We began our project in January with a salesperson named Ryan, who, like many, made the initial process sound seamless. We paid $8,500 for a new front door and ten interior doors - and that's where the problems began. It is now June, and our project is still incomplete. We were promised one thing and delivered another. the doors arrived with incorrect hardware, noticeable gashes on the interior doors, and a deep scratch on the front door. We've been living without proper door hardware for over four months. Despite repeated follow-ups, we've experienced countless delays and a lack of resolution. We have asked for our money back, but Lowe's continues to dodge accountability with empty apologies. At this point, an apology means nothing - it certainly isn't worth $8,500. Two visits after additional purchase of gutters - 70 mile round trip each time. Bough gutters with hardware - (end caps) that didn't fit. A kid who had just started working that week was the one who said "Oh yes, they told me to tell customers about that. The supplied hardware doesn't fit the gutters." Only four stars because I have visited this location over 100 times. Probably spent over $50,000 in the last two years remodeling my home and then today I forgot my wallet and had a visit with the checkout clerk named Sharon. Thankfully, I had a bag of loose change in my car so I thought I'd pay with all quarters....a whopping one item that came out to $9.22 after tax. Sharon, instantly told me she couldn't deal with me, the moment she saw the quarter, she told me to leave the line so she could help the "customers" behind me. I had the quarters pre-counted. The real reason for the review is because she wore a Lowe's vest COMPLETELY decorated in Lowe's award badges for sales and customer service. ***UPDATE*** YO YO YOOOOO!!!!! If you have any long haired people in your household, you NEED the cobra hair snake!!! I was a little skeptical thinking the little hooks on the sides would bend and break off and not pick up anything... dead wrong!! First dip in, I slowly put it all the way down the drain to the handle. Pulled it up slowly as per the directions and OMG! It was disgusting to say the least, but that first pull was incredible!! I forgot to put on my mask (surprise!! That covid mask is multi purpose, lol!!) because I knew it was gonna smell, so have something handy to wear over your nose if you're sensitive to smells. Trust me, it wasn't pleasant!! I had to do a 2nd dip, and that one wasn't as bad as the 1st, but still got out more hair. You might get it stuck if you dip it in a different spot, but be patient and just shimmy it here and there. It will eventually come out. The package says to throw it out after one use, but I cleaned it carefully (I wore gloves the entire time) and stored it back in the package for next time. The little hooks stayed intact so it'll still be good for future use. I bought an extra so I won't ever be without if the first one breaks. GAME CHANGER and definitely worth the $3!! Lol You're welcome!!! :) Came in to get anything that can unclog my daughter's hairballs from the tub. Usually there are employees all over asking if you need help. Tonight I saw a few, but they were busy helping other peeps, so I just went looking for the stuff on my own. I've tried the Drano, Liquid Plumr, all those liquid things before. They're great for a few days then back to slow draining sinks and tubs after a few days. Hopefully this cobra thing will work. Has stellar reviews on Amazon but I'm glad I paid less than $3 for each! This is an absolutely horrible store, the employees could care less about you. Phone call after phone call nothing. Bought a brand new washer and dryer Samsung for $2200.00 weeks later the dryer stopped working. Call after call. All I asked was for them to replace the dryer, no help at all. Three weeks after the purchase, they told me to call the manufacturer. Lowes is nothing but thieves, they do not honor anything they tell you and they do not honor their warranty, which they told me it was one year... I tried to charge this back with American Express, still trying to dispute the charge, I am stuck with a dryer that doesn't work... extremely frustrating would never ever do business with Lowe's!!!! These employees should be fired- end of story!! Go buy your appliances at Costco, Costco always honors everything and gives you a two-year warranty on anything you buy. No reason to do business with people that don't honor what you buy. Buying at Lowes- is one of the biggest purchase regrets I've ever had. How can you do business with a company that doesn't replace an item that is defective? $2200 is an expensive purchase. My goodness, how can you legally stay in business and take advantage of people in this way? This store hires people that know absolutely nothing about home improvement. You can't find one single competent employee and for anyone to be considered a "specialist" is laughable. Instead of getting help, I get blank stares and end up having to go online to research what I need because thankfully there are intelligent people out there, unfortunately none at Lowe's. Not to mention they are incredibly rude and if you are still there a few minutes before they close they go crazy and get so impatient they basically force you to run to the checkout lane. What a joke this company is. Before I get into our experience, it should be known that after a call to Corporate, we were referred back to the store, with Corporate stating they don't handle issues, they only refer back to the store. We ordered all new appliances for our kitchen, as well as a new washer/dryer set. JULY OF 2021. We had SO many issues with the delivery company, as well as the installers. We live in a rural area, and paid extra for the delivery. *Microwave was installed with no issues. *Dishwasher was installed, but the installer didn't hook it up properly, so it took another installer to come out and fix it. *Range was installed, but the installer didn't have the correct tool to complete the main burner. STILL NOT FIXED. *Refrigerator was installed with no issues. *Washer and dryer.... it took 3 times for us to have a working set, but the kicker is that we ordered a white set, and received a brown washer and a white dryer. AND AFTER 20+ PHONE CALLS TO THE STORE, INCLUDING 3 IN STORE VISITS, SPEAKING WITH 5 "MANAGERS", AND TALING NUMEROUS DAYS OFF OF WORK FOR DELIVERIES, WE STILL DONT HAVE A FULLY WORKING RANGE OR THE CORRECT WASHING MACHINE. This store/company is a joke. They want to make the sale, but could care less about customer service and quality. We have now moved our business account to Home Depot. Just bought a battery powered weed wacker and it was too weak so took it back. The returns manager was at the return desk and told me because I bought the merchandise at a different Lowe's and that I used it she would not return it but after talking to herself for two minutes said she would do an exchange. So I went and look led at others and talked to the lawn sales team member and he said that they normally would return even if I used it and he said it didn't se right the return manager would turn me away like that. This review is for their contractor Keller Interior. If you use Lowes in Temecula, and they send Keller Interior to your home, ask for an immediate refund and take your business to another place. There is only one person for the entire Riverside County. Any time you contact their office, this is the only voicemail you will receive. They will never contact you back so good luck getting in touch with someone if the contractor they send out isn't doing a good job. Now imagine trying to communicate with the person doing the bad job and trying explain to them the problem you have yet they speak very little English. Imagine trying to get in contact with Keller Interior so they can have someone translate for you. Imagine even though you don't speak Spanish, you understand Spanish curse words. Imagine them having some kid in your home to translate for them. Keller Interior came out to do a backsplash installation. The first guy did a terrible job. They sent another guy out and he wasn't prepared to do the job the first guy messed up. They sent a 3rd guy out and he also wasn't prepared to fix the job the first guy messed up. Months went by (Thanksgiving and Christmas) before someone actually came out to complete it. Months went by with my kitchen looking a mess. Months went by with me contacting Keller Interior and Lowes trying to get someone to come out and fix the issue. Imagine them leaving behind trash in your yard and kitchen. Grout water poured onto your lawn. Pieces of glass from the backsplash on your floors. Imagine the person having their interpreter to tell you "He said that's the best he can do" and leaving without cleaning up their mess. Imagine paying for materials that weren't even used. Not that some of the material was used and you returned the rest, but you actually bought materials that weren't used at all. Bought a New General Electric washing machine. It was delivered 2 days later, no problem there. However, hooked up the washing machine to run a load of laundry, the machine sounded like a jet engine plane. Called customer service, they said to give it 24 hours for a call back. The next day, over 24 hours later, someone called back, they can pick it up on November 1st, it was delivered October 25, 2023. They can't bring a replacement until they asses the washer. You have to go out of your way to find someone and when you do usually find several employees standing together chitchatting amongst them selves, I came in to get two keys made and went over and asked employee for assistance. I was told they would page someone for me and to hang out by the key area. I heard the page over the loudspeaker. After waiting about 10 minutes I asked again for assistance. This time no page was done. After waiting another 10 minutes. I decided 20 minutes was too long to stand around to get a key cut when I hear employee standing around talking about the fight on TV yesterday. Just save the time and go to Home Depot! This is after 2 employees told us we could return it and who were aware that we did not have the packaging. Wanted to share what an awesome experience I had yesterday at Lowe's. . .last week I purchased several large items I needed to renovate my rental property and had it delivered on Monday. Delivery company came as scheduled but somehow 1 toilet didn't make it on the truck, so called and left message for the associate who helped me to call me back to correct the situation. Did not get a call back on Monday or Tuesday so I went directly to the store in the afternoon of Tuesday. . . They paged the associate but no response, by this time I was getting little annoyed. While waiting I saw another associate stocking so I went to her for an assistance or at least to see if she can find someone in that department. To my surprise she took it upon herself to help me, she went out of her way even though she didn't have to do that. She checked on the computer, found the proper department, walked me all the way to them, then waited until my issue was solved. There is a woman named Sharon (older lady) who works as a cashier. I and my family try to avoid her line every time I go to this location but we almost always get her. She almost makes me want to avoid this location entirely. She's always so wretched, rude and pushy. No matter how pleasant or happy I try to be to her, she is so nasty to me. When I explain that I can't read the screen on the card reader she'll throw it in my direction and sigh heavily. I can't EVER hear what she's saying and when I apologize and ask her to repeat it, she rolls her eyes and screams it at me. I have about six people on my family who avoid this location entirely specifically because of her nasty attitude. I'm sorry, but she really needs to be spoken to about this. read more

As I looked to park, I was very happy to see the Veterans Parking spaces... thank you for that recognition of our veterans... myself included. *DO NOT LET RYAN BOBER DO YOUR IN-HOME CONSULTATION/QUOTE* Set up a quote for a new sliding door and two pairs of retrofit windows on May 13th and had their In-Home Consultant, Ryan Bober, come out and work up a quote. This was the first time we had done a quote through Lowe's and was letting him guide us through the process. He took measurements and got working on it and quoted us in the wrong color for the windows and sliding door. When we asked him to correct the quote he told us that he would work on it later and send it to us "within the hour" and left our home. We called him after the hour passed asking to make sure that he gives us the correct quote and he again told us "my laptop is in the truck and I'll have it to you within the hour". Never heard back from him. My husband saw him in person at the Murrieta store a few days later and asked him about the quote and AGAIN told us "my laptop is in the truck and I'll have it to you within the hour". Pretty sure this is his catch phrase...Well, we never heard back from him. My husband decided to give him a call on 6/1 and finally got a hold of him the second time he called and asked about the quote and Ryan told him that he would give him a call back later and he never did. A total of 4 contacts, 2 of them in person, and this guy gave us the run around, lied, and appears to be incapable of doing his job. If you get notified that Ryan is doing your in home consultation PLEASE request someone else. read more

This is a very big store with some amazing helpful people. Pete in the Paint Department is one knowledgeable and helpful guy. I was there on Sunday to buy paint for a large project - 3000 sf of walls, doors, window frames and had a lot of technical questions. He guided me to the various solutions for each, mixed up small jars of paint samples so I could try them out on site and offered advice based on his expertise. If you need paint go to Lowe's and ask for Pete! Very lucky to find him. read more

I really like this store. It was not nearly as busy as the Temecula Home Depot. My handyman said Lowes is much better stocked than HD, and he can be in and out real quick. So I came in here today to buy 2 ceiling fans for the handyman to put in. Employee in electrical dept was right there to help me pick one, he helped me sort out the options. He spent alot of time with me, even while couple of others were standing there waiting their turn. I also like that Lowes has My Lowes card to keep a record of my receipts under my phone number. But you can only do the My Lowes with a human at a cash register, not at the self-check. Next time I need something, I will come to this Lowes vs the HD, the distance is about the same from my wine country house at where Glenoaks meets DePortola. read more
