We ordered a gas clothes dryer weeks ago and paid for installation. First we were told that the installer, CRST Home Solutions wasn't paid for the $60 Town permit fee which was paid for when ordered. Next, CRST left a message with a date for installation. That date didn't work for us. I tried calling CRST to change the date and I was put on hold for over twenty minutes each time without ever speaking to a person. I then called Lowe's to explain the situation and I was told I should wait a "good thirty minutes on hold because they have a high volume of calls." This is absurd and unacceptable. I cancelled the complete order. Shame on Lowe's for not assisting a very good customer. Shame on CEST for very poor customer relations and service. I should also mention I called CRST three times so a good sixty minutes of my day I listened to their horrible music while on hold. Ridiculous. No wonder that Lowe's and CRST have such terrible reviews. read more

I have bought a speed line on 05/14 and the line keeps getting tangled and breaks, finally I decided to go back to the store and ask for a return but the store manager ( Brian ) did not approve it because I don't have the package, so you expect the customer to keep the package? Ordered a new washer and dryer, on time delivery. Had two storm doors installed. No issues. Had custom blinds measured and installed. No issues. Great service. Great staff. Ironic that the default Yelp review tries to auto fill about being understanding during Covid-19. I was in the store today and hardly any employees were wearing masks. They were hanging out in groups without masks and assisting customers without wearing masks. The ones that were wearing masks would lower them to speak - completely defeating the purpose. Both customer service and employees in the aisles were guilty of this. All of the customers in the store were wearing masks and being responsible - just not the employees. You don't prevent the spread of disease by wearing a mask around your neck. Don't believe me? Watch the security tapes for 4:45-5:15 on 7/30. You have to be a certain level of stupid and ignorant to ignore safely protocols right now. I did not feel safe in this store. Went to Lowe's West Bridgewater today- the lady at the paint department was very nice and helpful even though she was busy but when we went to self checkout the woman (Donna) bitched at me because I took 3 plastic bags! Even though we purchased 13 items! She said they don't have too many bags! What a BITCH! I don't think they were short on bags at all. I also heard her complain about another customer that was spending $300. We spent $100 and got bitched at!! WTF!! I guess it's time to start going to Home Depot! read more

I purchased a storm door in December and had it installed by lowes. It broke in May. The installer no longer works for Lowes and I tried to get the piece myself and the man in the door department suggested I try ordering it from Menards. I spoke to a manager named Myia and asked if she could order the part so the new installer could install it before my door gets more damage from not staying closed.Not very helpful after the sale. read more

The staff is helpful and knows where anything is in the store -even when I describe it as "the thing that hooks onto the side of the door that attaches to the other thing with the magnet." And they walk me right to the spot to get the thing I had in mind. I've also had the misfortune to buy something that I needed to return, and there were no problems at all. read more

I used this Lowes to go through to remodel my bathroom. What a giant mistake that was. Everything went great until the guys did the demolition. The job was only supposed to take 2 days, they did the demo, then didnt show up for 2 more days, then worked a few hours, then took 2 more days. And when they were all done, it looked terrible. i tried to get Lowes involved as the contractors were through them, but they were absolutely no help. I complained my way all the way up to the corporate office, they were even less help. I ended up complaining so hard they gave me $500 back. Bathroom still looked terrible and i had to re-do all of the work they did, took me a whole weekend. Awful. I wouldnt go back there to buy batteries. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took over an hour and two visits just to return 100 dollars worth of items. Pure waste of time and money. After following all steps that refund@lowes.com told me. The associate still couldn't process the return. Asked for a manager and got the assistant store manager "Jeff" completely rude and useless. Told me the return couldn't be process and the their return policy has changed. All lies. Because I pulled up current return policy on the website. I bought a $6 knob. It was on a display of "Special Order" knobs. The sign says "Free shipping to your door within 10 days". Knob is fine and arrived in just a couple of day. But reviewed the receipt later and found a $65 SHIPPING CHARGE HAD BEEN ADDED. I figured simple error had happened and they would surely correct it. I went back to the customer service desk, where staff gave me a shrug, and said that is correct. I pointed out that the shipping charge is more than 10x the cost of the item. Another customer service person came over and joined in nodding, stating that yes that is the flat rate for shipping any item. I explained the sign said free shipping for such special order items. they didn't believe me. I went and took a picture of it and brought it to them. I didn't have my receipt. so i returned the next day with the receipt and got a customer service person who understood this was an error and explained how it happened. she refunded the $ with a smile. I had high hopes for a smooth total kitchen renovation after meeting with Andria, one of their kitchen & bath project managers. I spent over $20,000 on the job and was promised a 10% rebate on the $7000 I spent on cabinets as part of a promotion. 3 months later I'm still fighting for this rebate and it doesn't look like I'll be receiving that $700 that enticed me to go with Lowe's rather than a local kitchen and bath contractor. But that's not even why I'm giving lowes a 1 star review. Half way into my renovation my project manager quit without any notice. For 10 days I was talking to a wall while my project was at a complete standstill. I went 8 weeks without a sink all because of the lack of communication between lowes, the missing project manager and the contractors. It was one thing after the other and I'm still without a complete kitchen. Overall the whole project will have taken 4 additional weeks than expected all because of various mistakes and screw ups. I am so upset that I spent all my savings on a company that clearly doesn't care about their customer's satisfaction (or sanity at this point). I would not recommend their kitchen and bath installation to anyone. They are unorganized, lack any and all customer service skills and overall don't care that such a vital piece of one's home is completed in a timely and fair manner. We ordered a fridge online and when we went to pick it up the lady at the custom service desk was very friendly. It was until we pulled the truck around to load it in when things fell apart. We waited outside by the car like told to for 10 minutes. No employee or fridge in sight. We head back into the service desk to find out the man that was supposed to help load it with us decided he was done for the night. We went in, got the fridge ourselves and loaded it by ourselves as the employee watched! Once the hard work was done he took the dolly and did not say a word. Jennifer in the home Dept was so friendly, informative and extremely helpful, i just had to let people know. Not many people want to help you at Lowe's but she went above and beyond to help my husband and i out today. One of the worst service. Stand at the paint counter for about 15min, pressed the "help button" twice and I can hear the intercom pretty clear that someone "need assistant at the paint department". Still waiting as employees walk by and stare at me and I'm asking if someone can help me add color into a can of paint. Asking 6 different employees and being told someone will come while waiting another 15min. I prefer lowes in Braintree or any Home Depot. They're more attentive. read more

I am in the middle if remodeling my new townhouse and have had to make many trips to the store and also have had some deliveries. I have been treated with respect and consideration every time. Michelle in the appliance department has been especially attentive to my needs. I would not recommend their roofing installation to anyone. They are unorganized, lack any and all customer service skills and overall don't care that such a vital piece of one's home is completed in a timely and fair manner. Shame on you Lowes, I'm kicking myself for not trusting my gut and going with a local company. Just to explain what I am talking about and to tell that I still need to know how can I have the people from Lowes to do something to repair or redo the roof in my house. To be clear, the roofing was done by one of yours contractors, very rude, not nice at all, and he did a very very bad job, and I can't accept the way it is, I told him to stop and he refused. Now I am here trying to find a way to make Lowes to do the repairs and the manager, Paul, at West Bridgwater store, told me that I have to pay more if I want this to be repaired. This is not right, no fair and I am not happy with that at all. Not even Nick call me in those last two day, and I spoke to him too on Monday the 18, and he told me that he will be talking to the people that is supous to be responsable for the job and will be talking to me in 2 days, and did not call at all. I try, and they dont want to know about how I fill, they said that I have to pay more if the roof need repairs, and of course it needs to be repaired, they did a bad job, in a very dark day, after snow, more the 2 months after I sign the contract with Lowes, the people did not even speak english, and the ones that I could talk were not nice at all, and even I was told by the contractor in person that if the roof does not look good, it does'nt matter because my house is an old house and it does'nt matter if it will be look uggle. read more

My refrigerator bit the dust. I went in on 9/17, placed the order. I was told while it was not in the store there were 200 in the warehouse. I was scheduled for 9/24 delivery, but it would probably arrive earlier and i would be called when it came in. So after hearing nothing all week I called Saturday to get my timeframe for Sunday delivery. The customer service rep said " oh, it was moved to Tuesday. " Uh.. ok. Why? " Well we could not get in touch with you." Apparently my phone number was changed in error(they transposed the #'s in my area code). I asked why was it changed when it was the correct number they used to pull up my account in the store? They had no idea. I was told the best they could do was Monday 9-25. Sooooo, wait again for my call with the time frame. Call customer service, was told the calls go out between 6 and 9 and if I don't here by 9 to call back and they would call the delivery company. 9:04 no time frame, call customer service and they are closed. So i have no idea if i have a delivery tomorrow or what time it is if I do. The fact that I was told to call back AFTER they closed also pisses me off. I also have a feeling that my phone number was not updated. If it happens I am canceling the order and will go some where else. Crazy!!!! read more

I wanted to let you know about the worst experience I have ever had and will no longer be a customer, nor have my family or friends be customers at any Lowes ever. During Black Friday Nov 2018 I made a huge purchase for my family. 4 kitchen appliances. I haven't upgraded in 12 years and am a single mom of 2 young children. I was thrilled at the promotion and being able to finally have stainless steel. Purchase went ok. The items couldn't be delivered together, as the stove was a back order. So I arrange for the other 3 (fridge, microwave and dishwasher) to come. They came but the fridge was dented! I accepted it anyways and did get at least $50 back by calling the store and reporting it. The delivery people then brought in the dishwasher - the wrong one. 20 minutes later they found the right one on the truck and brought it in. Then they brought in the microwave - the wrong one. They then found the right one and brought it in, but upon inspection it was scratched all over the front plates/stainless areas. I accepted and had to call the Lowes store (again after calling about the fridge dent). The store told me to keep it and they would send out another one to replace it asap. I went without a microwave for about a week. Delivery #2 happens and the microwave was fine. Weeks go by and I proactively check on status of stove as I've heard nothing from the store. The date keeps getting pushed off because of Samsung apparently?! 2 mos after my purchase I get a call from Lowes the stove should be coming in a week or so and they will call to schedule a delivery. Then one evening, after 7:30 pm, I get an automated call from the delivery service that my stove will be there in the am. I NEVER got a call from the store to schedule or check that date. I am not home that next day and have nobody to receive the stove. I call the store to complain and change the date to when I am home. Store tells me I am all set. The next day I am STALKED by the delivery service. Literally 7 calls in the morning from drivers stating they are at my house with my stove. I call them back to say I am not home and didn't schedule the delivery. Get attitude. So then I call the corporate number for the delivery service (XPO). Get bounced around from CS reps and put on hold. Over a 20 minute call to be given attitude and told they didn't have any updates to my delivery date and blamed the store. I then call the store, again, and they apologize (sort of) and guarantee I am all set for the following week on the delivery date I told them was workable. Delivery #3 happens. I am working and have to make arrangements for someone to be there. I get a call that the drivers dropped the stove off the truck and tried to rub the scratches and dents out from the front of the stove and handles! I accept the stove at this point because I no longer have my old stove. I call the store and explain. They tell me they will replace with a new stove but it will be 2-4 weeks since it is a backorder item. No remorse. No apologies. I specifically ask if I will be called when this new stove is ready to arrange delivery so I don't have a repeat of delivery #3. They say yes. This brings me to last night, when after 7:30 pm I get an automated message that my stove is being delivered at 7 am!! Lowes NEVER called me to schedule a delivery. Again XPO was just somehow given a date and now I have to shuffle and beg people to be at my house so I can just be freaking done with Lowes and this awful experience. The stove came today, family accepted it for me and luckily I am done with this experience and Lowes for good. I am so disappointed in how many times I had to call the stores and delivery service to manage this. No ownership, accountability or service from Lowes. Almost 3 months from start to finish and 3 different deliveries and exchanges. Awful. read more
