Lowe's might be closer to my house and offer lower prices, but after three failed attempts, I'm officially done. Every visit ends with me driving to Home Depot anyway. The service is nonexistent--employees are unhelpful and unprofessional, often directing me to aisles where the product isn't even in stock. On my last visit I stood in the paint department with 8 other people for 10 minutes and no one showed up to help us all. In contrast, Home Depot greets me at the door, knows their inventory, and actually provides expert advice in the paint department. The employees at this location clearly have no idea what they are doing. I dropped off a mower for a warranty repair 32 days ago, and I still have no idea when the repair will actually take place. The shipping clerk has no ability to follow up or follow through, even forgetting to provide the regular phone calls he proactively offered and promised. The assistant manager, Aaron, seems to be the person they pass frustrated customers to, but again, he has no ability (or desire) to follow up. The only response I've been able to get was only after emailing the entire senior management team at the Lowe's corporate office. Yet, even 8 days after that email, I still have no idea when, or even IF, the mower will be repaired. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

While it is true the two folks I spoke with initially helped me greatly, everything went downhill from there. The first dishwasher that arrived at our house was damaged in the box. The installer returned it to the store and it took 3 weeks of m calling to get information on what would happen next. Another dishwasher was sent to the house. It did not fit because the measurement specs I had used on the Lowe's site did not match the specs on the manufacturer's site I found after the fact. I printed both to show the store the discrepancy. This one got taken back and it was another week and a half to get that refunded and to purchase another dishwasher that had the correct specs to measure from. Another two weeks with no update went by and I decided I was done and requested that the entire transaction be refunded as I wanted to go somewhere else. This was a monumental feat to accomplish even with me having every receipt from the start of it all. After an hour and a half at the store, most was refunded with the rest coming in a few weeks worth of business days via check in the mail. Each employee I encountered in person during this process was polite and tried to help. But the in between communication was completely lost. Any update, any information took me making many phone calls, waiting on hold and being transferred in circles to chase it down. I hope Lowe's can improve their communication process in the future as well as more vigilance in keeping their appliance spec information on their website up to date. read more

Rudest employee I have ever encountered anywhere! Last weekend we needed posts to build our fence with and went to Lowe's as we've been going there for years and never had a problem. The posts we needed were mostly split and/or warped, but we could see better ones up above. My husband went to find someone to help and I stayed with the 2 or 3 we had found that we thought were good enough. Maybe 15 minutes later, this guy comes stomping around the corner, talking about how we've got "plenty of wood over there", so I said "but it's all split or ..." he pointed at me and sternly interrupted with "I AM NOT ASKING YOU!" Then my husband came around the corner after him so he turned and asked my husband about the wood. After he left again to get a forklift, I asked my husband if he heard how that employee had addressed me. He had, and let me know that he was a jerk to him as well. He didn't want to get off his butt and do any work, apparently. Lowe's should hire decent people if they have to deal with customers. Find something for them to do in a back room if they are jerks. read more

Trying to order doors. Went into the store and nobody is at the desk and not a single employee to be found. I ended up getting measurements directly from their third party vendor, yet since they were not done "through Lowe's" they will not take them. Or, more to the point, they did not get the measurement fee directly yet never have anyone at their store to help. Called them today, 4 times, to try to arrange another measurement "through them" for the exact same vendor. Call one - 5:28 and never got a live person Call two- 4:18 and never got a live person Call three - 4:32. Got Justine in Customer Service (oxymoron) who stated Tin was working and she would transfer me. Rang and rang then finally disconnected Call four - 7:02. Got unnamed person in Customer Service who told me she would transfer me to Tina, who may or may not even exist but apparently is there until 5, and if she doesn't pick up she will take a message. Refused to take one at that time. Once again, rang and rang in millworks and "Tina" never picked up. Got Justine again who said she would transfer me again. I said nope, don't bother. Time wasted calling - 21 minutes 17 seconds Time wasted going into store where nobody works - 35 minutes Help received - none The orange box store is just as bad. Project cancelled but happy for the reminder as to why Lowe's should get zero stars. Not the first time I have tried to get service in this store for a major purchase and install. This review is for the Lowe's on 13650 Orchard Pkwy, Westminster, CO. If your thinking about buying a front door....don't! You can't talk to the same person when you call, I was told it was my fault the front door didn't fit because I ordered the wrong size door, I had a sales person come to the house and measure the door, I had nothing to do with the ordering of the wrong size. Their install company Premier Install is a joke, the installer spent have his time on the phone and taking pictures of his dog. The screen door he installed had a quarter inch gap on top and bottom. I ordered the door in Dec. after all was said and done, it was finished in May. I was promised $100 for my troubles, but got nothing, think long and hard about buying a door from Lowe's. read more

I've been in this store before and the customer service isn't bad but the lady that answered the phone on 2/4/23 around noon needs to be a bit more friendly. She was extremely short and rude. I understand they get busy and are likely short staffed like everywhere but the gal who answered the phone at the Lowe's Westminster was sooooo much more friendly and helpful. Why is it always a shit show to try and get something from Lowe's? Not only did I wait in curbside pick up for 15 minutes after I called to get my order (in which no one came out). But I have also been standing inside the store trying to get my order for another 15 minutes and literally no one has talked to me. I know you're busy but don't offer pick up if it's not available!!!!!! Staff the pick up desk during a pandemic. I want to like it here but I have never had a good experience. Going to Home Depot! I drive out of my way to frequent Lowe's. It is an extra 25 minutes each way Been going there for 20+ years. Bought a washer and thought maybe I needed some hoses. Ran to Lowe's for the hoses and found out the washer came with them. Had used a Christmas gift card for the $25 purchase. Receipt got washed in the new washer (irony!). Customer service is no longer offering in store credit per the clerk. I guess making a $25 sale is more important than the several thousand I spend there. HD is less than three miles away so it will be my new go to store. read more

I met a person called Yammy: friendly, knowledgeable on flooring and doesn't care how many questions or how many times you appear in the flooring department. She always has the answer and is polite and friendly. If Yammy isn't there, Ryan is. Ryan is always polite, friendly and doesn't care how many times you show up. He is always happy to see the customer. If you can't find them, Joe will be there to help in any way. He has always been helpful and a kind smile. He helped me carry out to my car flooring pieces that are taller then me. The flooring staff is helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant, smiling and ready to help. Lowe's has your flooring answers and always helpful. The return desk is always polite and helpful. I had to return some things and they happily gave me back my money. No problems. read more

Not even sure how Lowes is still in business, but I guess it's because they (and HD) have a monopoly on the home improvement industry. Don't even know where to start with all this, but here's a (long) recap: - Purchased a fridge, waited for delivery, it never came. - Called store several times and was hung up on each time. I think their phone system is programmed to do this? - Received an email saying my delivery had been completed when it had not. - Called the store and had to dial into the paint department to get a live person. - Transferred to delivery who didn't know what happened, but would reschedule for 4 days out. - Fridge came and the delivery guys could not figure out how to maneuver it in my hallway, so they said they would take it back to the store (after they had already taken my old one way). - Called customer service, was told the normal process is for items to be returned to the store that evening and that I would receive a refund in the form of gift cards, and no action needed on my end. - A week goes by and nothing happens. I call the store and they said I would have to physically come in to pick up my gift cards. I told them I didn't have a car, and they of course didn't care. - I finally get down to the store a few weeks later and am issued a gift card. I specifically ask the woman if I can use it online and she said yes. - I get home and place an order for some additional work we were doing and the system won't allow me to use the card. I chat customer service who said I can't use it online, I have to GO INTO THE STORE. - I called customer service once again to tell them the situation, that I had an online gift card and should never have been issued a store-only gift card, that I don't currently have a car and can't physically buy large appliances in person - and of course they don't care. So now I'm stuck with a $900 store card and had to put the purchase on a credit card. - New order was scheduled to come a week from being ordered. I scheduled my contractor to come out to do the install. - Day before delivery, I get an email saying it's now going to be delayed 2 weeks. - Called the store, was hung up on multiple times, finally reached someone and they said one of the parts was delayed so everything was now on hold, even though it was in stock. - I told them I needed the rest asap, but they said they couldn't deliver (even though it had already been scheduled?) until 4 days later. - That delivery day comes, but the main item (toilet) wasn't on the truck. They thought it was, but what do you know, it wasn't. - Called the store, spoke with delivery and was told they had it there, not sure why it wasn't on the truck, but they would re-deliver - 2 days later. - Had to reschedule my contractor a second time. - Today was delivery day and nothing came. - Called the store, was told delivery was closed but the girl said she was going to "pull up her other system" to help. Was put on hold 45 minutes then disconnected when someone picked up and proceeded to hang up on me. - Called customer service, waited on hold for an hour only to have the woman tell me she couldn't do anything but open a case with the store that would result in a call back within 2 business days. What a bunch of BS - support your local appliance & hardware stores and forget this joke of a place. read more

Don't buy an appliance here. Ordered a washer & dryer and got a delivery date scheduled. The night before I called in because I hadn't heard anything about a delivery window and found out it'd been rescheduled... would have been nice to know. The new window is 2 weeks later. Then get a call that the washer still hasn't arrived in their warehouse but I have have the display model if I want it... I tell them sure, I would love to get some clothes washed. The washer and dryer arrive and the washer leaks. The delivery guys say they'll let the store know and they'll call me. I don't hear anything for two days then call the store and they hadn't heard there was a problem. Been trying for the last couple of days to get someone on the phone to give me an estimate when I can either get a working washer or just get this all returned so I can go buy one someplace else. read more

Went in last night at 7:55pm. One cashier and long lines. OK, I've come to expect that from this store as it's been that way for many years. The line, even though it seems very long, is usually less than a 10 minute wait. That's pretty long, compared to other competing stores in the area. But I always liked the Lowe's brand. The shocking thing was the cashier, the only one, was not wearing a mask. Now before you rush to judge me, I'm in a high-risk group so I need to protect myself. And don't tell me not to go shopping. Sometimes we all need to. But that aside, what is the store policy here? And what is the current Colorado statute? I don't know, it's mid June maybe masks are no longer needed. I did try online ordering once recently from this store and it was a disaster. The order was never filled. After several days of waiting I canceled it. The reason for the one star review is because there's no way to report this behavior to the company. There is no email possibility, and when you call the one number they provide on their website, they immediately tell you the wait time is 45-50 minutes. We called the store, after Amanda's truckers delivered the second range bent to heck. She could have cared less; rude, interrupted, talked over us and was not listening. No matter how we explained to her about the range not being tied down in the truck, the obvious damage, the weeks it took to get each stove etc she was not interested. DO NOT SHOP AT LOWE'S For your own safety - Please read. My wife and I regularly shopped at lowes last year while we were renovating our kitchen. My wife would make trips to lowes and would come home and tell me that a guy there had frequently made her feel uncomfortable with remarks and proximity to her during checkout. In December, she went to the store and the same worker, swapped out with another employee, just so he could run through the check out with my wife. She showed her ID to get her veteran discount and left the store. When she left the store, she got a notification from Facebook and there, Ryan, the employee from Lowes had sent her a friend request. That night I went to the store and talked with Pearl, the store manager and informed her of the full scope of the issue and the prior interactions. I explained that checking a woman's ID at checkout is NOT an invitation to take down personal information on a customer and then use it to locate someone on social media. It was highly inappropriate, creepy, and in conflict with numerous work and social contracts. Pearl assured me the information would be properly used and while she couldn't disclose what would happen to him, that I should be able to return to the store in the coming weeks and not see him there. I haven't had a need to return to the store since December, but returned yesterday only to see the Ryan is still employed. While this may have happened to us on a personal level, it caused me great concern for the general community and for other patrons of Lowes, who show their ID or paperwork for pickups containing personal information. For weeks we had concerns with what may happen and what all information he had gathered. We will not be returning to Westminster Lowes because they couldn't make a simple decision to do what was in the interest of the customer, the store, AND THE SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY. If you continue to shop there, I encourage you, especially women, to safeguard their information around this individual. read more
