I have had It with this Lowe's. I picked out 2 doors paid 45.00 to get started on the process and the appointment center to have someone come out to measure can't seem to call me for some reason and when I speak to a manger there's "notes" that claim this Amanda person has called us 3 times.. no she hasn't. So being that I'm reasonable and there could be an issue with the phone (highly unlikely) I give them my cell number as back up if we don't answer the first number.. still nothing. I am not allowed to go anywhere because I have risk factors & COVID. But it is Christmas. My husband and I really wanted a fresh Christmas tree as we have had for 46 years. We went to Lowes. The Garden Center was closed. We talked to Assistant Manager Nate who cheerfully opened the Garden Center Gate so we could enter without exposure to the indoor air. Very unimpressed with the service here. Wanted to purchase a gazebo and entire patio furniture set. Got passed off to 3 different people trying to locate the item, eventually found out that they were out of stock, backordered, and the store has a negative inventory. After more than 30 minutes, I ended up calling other stores and found one to order on my own. The staff wasn't helpful at all in finding anything I needed and I got left by staff members twice in the middle of a conversation. Had better luck on the phone with customer service. read more

This Lowe's is not a good choice. I went here in search for a pipe for a kitchen vent. I was directed to the "dryer vent" Section. We went there and the guy who directed us to the section came by to check to make sure we found it. No biggie. We found what we needed for the kitchen vent needed. We then needed a dryer vent and a associate was near by but doesn't work in the section. No biggie. She grabbed another guy who works in the section and had a slight attitude. He found the vent covers and said we would need a adapter. I said that won't work and than asked why. We explained that we are building a hose for a kitchen vent. Than they talked behind our backs and said something along the lines of "we wont want to be liable" and "Let they do what they want to do" WTF? Why not tell us this won't work out instead of talking behind our backs?? We said we would go to Home Depot and they said "whatever". I won't be back buying anything "venting" related as they do not seem to know what they are talking about. read more

This used to be a good store, I bought a fridge, 2 microwaves, a stove and 2 dishwashers from this store. When I bought my last dishwasher from this store on 3/27/2018, I was told I could have it on the second, I asked them if they were sure and they said yes. I got a call that said I couldn't, get it till 4-17-2018. It finally came on the 21st .Long story short, very poor service, lot's of excuses and I won.t be going back to Lowes . read more

Every time I go to this store it is a complete waste of my valuable time!! I spend 5 minutes finding someone to help me then together we spend 30 minutes trying to find another associate who can help the person helping me and when the three of us can't find what I'm looking for after 30 more minutes they tell me they don't have the item. How many employees does it take to find anything? Who knows after 2 they give up! They always end up telling me to go to Ace or Radio Shack! The only thing this store is good for is price shopping then driving to Home Depot on Hwy 7 to get a price match. It starts with management, and trickles it's way down. They have lost the employees that knew what they were doing, and hired on un-trained teenagers. I recently went to get paint. They tried to sell me their own color code two shades too light. When I asked them to fix it, the first time she did, and took an extra 10 minutes of my valuable time doing it. The second time, different color, same issue- They argued that it was sheen. I took their valspar paint code to Home Depot on Hwy 7 and they matched it exactly, charged $4 less and gave me a metal paint opener for free. (Lowes charges) While roaming around waiting for my bad paint mix, a woman was complaining how no one was around. It was 9am, not busy, and not one associate in the store for her to ask a question. In my experience, even if she had found someone, they would either direct you to the wrong isle, or not know what they were talking about any way. To sum this all up, go to Home Depot on Hwy 7 across from Costco. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and know how to mix paint. read more

Pallets everywhere, they take their masks off to talk to you and come around the plexiglass (completely unsafe), nothing's been stocked, no one knows where anything is, super lazy staff. What a bummer. No one knows where to find anything, the website directory doesn't match the store. Only one young man and young lady actually working hard Adan & Sara, they're the only hard workers, major props to them for taking their job and Covid seriously. Shame on Lowe's for not instilling a stronger work ethic in the rest of their staff. Lots of leaning, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean, or maybe stock something or get organized. Today's line for return was all the way to the garden center. Flat out watched a group of staff in red vests gather and watch while the young man Adan, politely and safely handled the huge crowd. Went to Lowe's to exchange a 1/2" drive Kobalt ratchet. They claim to have a "lifetime warranty". This was the second one that I had that has broken. The clerks refused to honor the warranty and exchange for an identical ratchet. They said it was "a manufacturer warranty and without a receipt I needed to "BUY" a new one. I explained to them that this was ridiculous and that I have bern buying Sears Craftsman tools for 30 years, and that when one breaks, they hand you a new one, smile and leave. I will never do business with this or any other Lowe's again. I told them to keep their shitty broken ratchet and I would do business with Sears. read more

Sadly enough I am having to give this particular Lowes a bad rating. Don't get me wrong, I love Lowes, but this particular location has amde it so that no Lowes will ever earn a penny from me or the rest of my families life. So I received a coupon for a competitor store for %20 discount off 1 particular item. It was not a printed coupon, but an actual copoun in hand that I cut out of an ad. I happend to need a blind for my bedroom and thought it was perfect since everyother Lowes has always respected competitors coupons. Before going, I called and spoke with a floor manage, I don't remember her name. She said that as long as it wasn't printed, they would for sure honor it. I went, spent about 45 minutes waiting for them to cut the blind to my exact size. I went to pay, and the cashier advised with an attitude that they it would be ridiculous to accept any coupon that's not from Lowes. Questioning him, I asked for a manager. I proceeded to talk to a male who advised he was the "store Manager" with no one above him, and that the cashier was correct. I advised that I had called in before and spoken with a female manager who advised otherwise. I was questioned for the name of the manager, and I didn't remember it. I then happened to see her walking by and pointed at her as I remember seeing her from a previous visit. She came up and told me that I must be mistaking because she would never say anything like that. I was dumbfounded. Not only was she lying to my face, but the "store Manager" was telling me I was lying. That there is no way they would honor something like that. First I have not been called a liar before by a store, second off I called before going, and third off I had never been treated like that at any Lowes. Big time dissapointed. Wow, talk about knocked down from a 5 star in the past. I have been back here oh I would say at least 45 times since my last post. Well I went this morning to get a few things, and decided to go thru the self checkout, but asked the lady to assist me since I had large items. I was being nice and removed the sku tag for her to scan and she told me never to do that again, okay my mistake, then I slid my credit card and she asked for the card and I gave her the last four numbers verbally as I have done on several visits at this location and others, she outright yelled at me and said I need your card in my hand right now......! I was like woah..!! And a customer next to me looked at her and looked at me expecting me to pop off, but I just gave her the card and left afterwards. Well, we moved into a new house up North with a very crooked not to code deck! We decided since we had to have it leveled and repaired anyway, why not replace the plastic railing with something more upscale. My husband went in about 3 times investigating deck railing options at Lowe's and reading reviews. He wanted a composite material so we could get rid of the plastic material on our deck. After much thought and finally getting a sold date on the arrival of our contractor, my husband went in with the proper measurements at 7:30AM on a weekday morning to place the order. When the material arrived at our home our contractor showed the photo of what he thought we ordered, railing made of composite material. The Lowe's delivery service said that was indeed what we ordered so he took the material and installed it. To come to find out it was the same exact material we tore off. What a waste of time and money! We were extremely upset to learn that Trex decking material has plastic end caps and skirts. What I want to make clear though is after re-visiting with the gentleman that helped my husband place the order, after re-talking and sending photos to the Trex representative, and after speaking with Dale at Lowe's they did make right by their mistake. Even though the material we ordered was not explained to us well, Lowe's respectifully honored that a mistake was made on their part in assisting us with placing the order. Everyone we spoke with was kind and kept their cool and wanted us to be satisfied customers, in other words they are trained correctly, respectful and honest people. Hard to find these days. In the end we received a credit back for the purchase of our material. We still will have to live with what our contractor installed until we can find a railing that suits what we were hoping for, but Lowe's took the time to make us satisfied as customers and for that I am thankful! I'm not sure why this store even has employees. It's not out of the ordinary to walk in and walk up and down the aisles to find what you need and check yourself out without having any communication or contact with an employee. The employees there don't make eye contacts so they don't have to ask if you need assistance- rather they seem perfectly content to have us get the stuff without bothering them. The people that work in that store don't seem to know they are working in a service industry and they are getting paid while they standing around doing nothing. Sadly, the management seems to condone their employees "work ethics" because that is their everyday routine. Reading the previous reviews there's definite inconsistency in their service- shouldn't we all be getting at least average service? At this point, I don't even expect anything but average - but no service is too pathetic! read more

New kitchen floor being installed today. Installer got here right on time and 2plus hours after materials were supposed to be delivered by Lowe's we are still waiting!! Have been told various stories by store employees and install department - the latest being materials on their way at 9:50am - 25 minutes later NOT HERE!! I've been shopping here for years since it's near my house, never thought much about it but I have to say I'm very impressed with their online order for store pickup system. Ordered a bathroom fan online (easier to look up model number) and got confirmation email & call about 5 minutes later. Went in and pick it up later at customer service desk, no hassles, no waiting, the part was right under the counter. At other places you may have to wait for someone to show up and then wait for them to go somewhere to get the ordered item. read more

I'm a customer of the Lowes at 3650 Orchard Pkwy in Westminster, CO 80023, Store #2432. I have recently purchased a new front deck for my home to be built by the Lowes "professional" installation service. From the beginning we experienced problems with the financing as the associate, after repeatedly being told NOT to use the 6-month no interest option, enrolled me in the 6-month no interest option. Incompetent. Luckily I noticed the error when I returned home which required me to return to the store the following business day to fix her error. I should have saw this as a warning and ran to another store but I decided to give Lowes a change to make it right. After fixing the issue with the financing, I choose my colors and was sent on my way. The associate called me back explaining that they didn't have the colors that I choose so I had to go back and choose another color. This happened twice where I had to go back to the store to choose a different color of materials. Again, I should have asked for my money back. After waiting for a month for work to start, it finally started on January 1st. After a series of ordering mistakes (both sides blame each other) it is now February 3 and they are still getting the materials ordered. I was promised that this job would take 1 week and be completed by January 22, 2015. I have had to take many WASTED days off from work to supervise the work and I'm running out of patience. I took today off because I was told that work would commence today only to find that another associate from Lowes needed to "swap" one rail for another. I was told that he had to go to the warehouse to swap it and it could be tomorrow before work could continue. I asked where the warehouse was located and was surprised to find that it was in Denver which is only 15 miles away. I offered to retrieve the part myself if it was going to take that long and he refused. I just wanted to reach out and express my feelings about the level of service experienced by the Lowes staff and services. From the beginning with the financing errors to the current waiting, I feel that once Lowes had my money they checked out. I went in to Lowe's to find a replacement shower diverter for my bathtub. I brought in pictures to Home Depot, and the associate looked at me like I was crazy, and this was unfixable. I then went to Lowe's and was assisted by Jon Flack, who took one look at my photos and knew straight away what I needed and where to find it. He also helped me acquire the necessary tools and additional items (teflon tape, caulking, etc.) in order to get the job done. For the first time in my entire life, I only had to make that ONE trip to the hardware store. I was able to fix it in under an hour, and it saved me so much money by avoiding a plumber. I'm thankful to Jon for his friendly approach and willingness to help. I'll definitely be back for future projects! read more

I ordered two standard size counter tops with one back splash and right side splash guard six weeks ago. Had to wait four weeks just to get the counter tops sent from US Marble to the store for pick up. After waiting for an hour at the store for someone to bring the product up front to me we opened the box to make sure nothing was broken and everything was there. Nothing was broken but there was no back splash nor right side splash. Had to ask to speak to manager regarding order mistake. Said he was sorry and that all he could do is re-order, so it is now two weeks later and I get a call from manager telling me his re-order got messed up at US Marble and they will have to remake the back splash due to "quality issues". So it is a priority to get these to me as soon as possible-I don't think so. So don't order counter tops from Lowes as they can not provide the product as promised at the store !! read more

Yesterday I went In to try to find a way to swap Poly-butal tubing in my 5th wheel the first Person I asked in pluming looked at me like a deer in headlights but then referred me to a Young Lady Named Renee, I was Completely Impressed with her Knowledge of all types of tubing products and how to interchange them. Went to this Lowe's to get outdoor house paint and were deeply dissatisfied with our experience. We found the color we needed on our own and stepped up to the counter as there were no other customers in line. Although there were two associates behind the paint counter, neither one acknowledged us. Instead, we continued to stand there...waiting...while the employee at the computer repeatedly made direct eye contact with me, yet said nothing. After over five minutes of this, we opted to leave...and the employee at the computer literally just watched us walk out the door. We went to the Home Depot at Larkridge in Thornton and what a difference! Their paint department was extremely busy yet one of the associates acknowledged us as we walked towards the counter! Nothing but a great experience at that Home Depot. Highly recommend not wasting your time at this Lowe's location! read more

I went in to the store to buy a $100 sunshade--had my grand-daughter with me--and was in a big hurry....I realized as I was ringing up the shade(at self checkout) that I had the wrong length--so quickly ran back (2 aisles) to get the right size--gone 30 second!. When I returned--my items were moved and another man stood at my register. The male clerk at the self-check said 'you left so I told the next person to move into your spot'. Oh yea....I was pissed....but I had a $15 plant I wanted to buy for my daughter for Mother's Day (otherwise I would've walked out straight away)!! I moved to where the male clerk was at his register and said to him "that was incredibly rude giving my spot to someone else"...and the next thing I see is him talking to other customers about how rude I am!!! Whaaaatttt???? Who does that??? Where is respect and consideration for your customers Lowe's employee??? Yes....I DID call your manager and re-live the nightmare with her.... Little did you know that I've spent thousands of dollars at your store over the last 5 years moving into two new homes...Do you even care?? If not...your employers should know that YOU are the jerk! I purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer from this store in Dec 2012 and paid extra for the extended 4-year warranty (thankfully). In June 2014, I had 5 service calls. The first gent damaged my unit, the second and third guys didn't know what they were doing, and the last 2 service calls were better. Well, I'm now on my 6th service call. They previously sent a total of 3 companies for the calls in June; I will not allow 2 of the companies back into my home as they were less than lackluster. The third repair company can't come out for 2 weeks, so, I have no dryer for 2 weeks and not enough clothes to last me that long. With 6 appointments in 3 months, I would have hoped that Lowe's would replace the blasted unit, but alas, they are cheap and will not help with this. Why? Because your extended warranty covers repairs. Why, yes, it does. But it does not cover the personal time I have to take for 6 calls or help with my frustration levels or the fact that there is a lot of downtime on a dryer that is less than 2 years old. I spent $2100 with your store and received garbage for products. The service is a freaking joke. If you would like to earn future business, then take care of this in a manner you would like to be taken care of in a similar situation. Shame on big corporations for their lack of attention to customers. Oh, and their support line folks only want to talk over you. Bad, bad, customer service all the way around. read more

We hired Lowe's on Orchard Parkway in Westminster to replace ancient basement windows in an old home. They started out strong with phone calls updating us regularly on the arrival of our windows and connecting us to the independent contractor hired to do the installation. The store followed up on making sure the contractor did indeed set an appointment. The contractors employees were super courteous and answered any questions or concerns I had. Then it all fell apart. One window was broken so they had to reorder a new one. That is unfortunate but we understand things happen. We waited for the new window and started testing out the newly installed windows which should lift out of the tracking so we can clean the back side. My husband had to struggle to get most of them out and could not get two out at all. We called the store to make sure they knew of this problem and that when they came back it needed to be addressed. Finally the window arrived at the store, we knew because we got an automated phone call. I called the store to ask when we could set an appointment up. The guy who answered said he would have the person in charge call me. No word for days, we called back. It went on like this for 2 weeks. Finally the snippy frustrating conversation I had with a store manager got things moving...sort of she was sympathetic and understanding and got a hold of the guy in window installation for the store. The contractor finally called, to set an appointment but just thought he was sending his guys to fix the trim on the windows. I had to tell him there was also a window that was at the store that needed to be installed. He knew nothing. The day and time of the appointment came, I waited and his guys didn't show up. I called the contractor, no answer, no call back. I called the store and got transferred 4 times before getting the right person who had gone home for the day. Left a message, but my husband called the next day, the store employee said "Ya, I noticed that window sitting here and wondered about it." But we noticed he didn't do anything about it. We called Lowe's again the next day and got another person that expressed sympathy and promised to call the contractor and call me right back. He did that and got the same response as I did. Left a message. Two days after the missed appointment we got a call from the contractor who said his guys got tied up at another job. No apologies for not calling. I think he forgot to tell his guys about the extra job on the end of their day. So here we sit a month after the window has arrived at the Lowe's store with all of our things out of place in the basement so they can get to the windows that won't open. Still no complete job. They have all of our money because as the sales guy who came to our home said, We are a big company we are reliable and won't let you down. Lowe's hired the wrong contractor and Lowe's struggles with making sure the customer is taken care of all the way to the end. We've made all the contact with the store once there were problems. Only then did they reach out to us in response to our phone calls. Also, the store employees need to do a better job at knowing good phone manners in speaking to customers and getting them taken care of. Management has a handle on things but the other employees could improve in this area. So Lowe's gets 2 stars for starting strong and management who was courteous. But they missed the follow through, they have our money and we don't have a finished product and unfortunately they hired the wrong flaky contractor that makes it bad for the good hard working contractors out there. Store employees need better training on phone service the menu choices on the automated phone system don't match what the store employee told us to dial once we got put in motion on the automated system. So I play ring-around-the-rosie trying to find the right person that no one seems to know works at their store. We've been really patient but we have other work being done in our home and need this checked off our list. We are beyond annoyed. We have other things to do with our time. No, I would not recommend Lowe's on Orchard Parkway in Westminster Colorado for doing window installation. read more

Nothing but a hassle...ordered a fridge online, and the one we wanted was only at this Lowes. Our order was lost in cyberspace, we had to call to set up delivery, they couldn't find our order, twice. When I called to confirm our delivery date and time, two different people could not help me one being the "head cashier"! She said she would call me back, never did. I called the manager, he confirmed our delivery in 3 seconds. I complained to him, he said he didn't know why that happened.... whatever. Our delivery was supposed to be between 8 and noon. They came at 4! The poor delivery guys said they changed their schedule, and they weren't even loading until noon. The only nice part was the delivery guys... not their fault they work at an incompetent place. Got the fridge in and the door was badly damaged... had to bring us another door 2 days later. Absolutely NOTHING BUT A HASSLE. We will NEVER buy anything there again. read more
