If you live in this area and you're not shopping here, you're missing out. The service is outstanding - everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They don't have every little thing, but they have the most common items you'll probably pop in for at reasonable prices, and you won't have to wander 1/2 acre of aisles to find someone to ask for advice. don't go here to cut house keys. you'll have to go back 50 times and when you ask for a manager the young kid asks you why and says he can do it. whole time they didn't work AGAIN leaving me LOCKED out of my house after i get off of work at NIGHT for 40 mins. i'm livid. will never cut a key at an ace hardware again. absolutely insane. seth was nice though just got to give him his kudos. he helped with a screen door. he was very helpful. read more

Horrible service. No announcement made over speakers like "We're Closing Soon" or verbally by employees that usually hound you all over the store. They literally shut the lights off on me while shopping in back of store. So I had to navigate dark aisles with sharp shelves and all the damn displays in the way to even get to register in a mostly dark store to check out. Then the employees were in such a hurry to kick everyone out, had to tell him how to enter my phone number 3 times at register because he seemed to be more concerned about getting off work i suppose. Then i had to stand at the locked main entry door waiting to be let out by employees for a few minutes. Pretty sure locking in customers is a fire code violation, but they were in such a hurry to leave work it was ridiculous. Don't know manager that was on duty but you need to send them to the unemployment line. Wont ever shop at this Ace location again. Do yourself a favor and go to another Ace, Lowes, or Home Depot or anywhere else other than this hell-hole, unless you like being treated like crap by employees. And i had been a customer at this location for many years, until today. read more

I am new to the area and found I needed to replace the water softener for our new house, never needed to before. I was greeted by a lovely lady at the register. I ask if there was someone here to help and as I did two guys came up and asked, What can we help you find! I was so relieved -it's just me and my kids. I explained what I needed and they walked me through everything told me how often I needed to do everything it felt like a had a big brother making sure I was set and with no judgement lol. Worth every penny, and they said to come back if I needed more help! I WILL be coming back but for everything else, I added everything just like they said and I'm so happy. read more

I cannot shop at this location anymore. I've attempted it three times, and all three times have been uncomfortable and unsupportive. I have escalated issues to the team, and they seem disinterested. Today, I walked in asking for mulch. The person at the register told me it would either be out front or in the back, and then told me what different kinds they had. Never once did he escort me to the location. He only pointed. I wandered in the back, could not find the area he spoke of. I had already checked out front, he saw me go out front to check and had told me to check again. I walked past five employees who were chatting together at the register and none of them helped me. I don't expect them to read my mind, but none of them made themselves approachable, even when I walked closely by them trying to make direct eye contact. The other time I was there, the man got mad at me for not telling him the correct hummingbird feeder to get down. The time before that, I witnessed a male employee talking down to a female employee after she insisted the item wasn't outside in the front. He didn't believe her and made her walk out there again to check, and they ended discovering that the item was not out front. He didn't apologize. Call me a Karen, but I'm over Ace Hardware. I'll drive the extra 10 minutes to Home Depot. read more

Probably one of the worst "helpful hardware folks" got passed by 3 store associates as I was looking at an empty red hot buy end cap and non asked if I was finding everything okay or needed help, I understand when the store is busy but was pretty slow. read more

My boyfriend walked into this store asked for a CASE of white spray paint. The LAZY man child at the store decided that that was too much work. When I know for a damn fact that there is a case back there. So much for helping customers. That's okay, his laziness just helped line Bezos pockets instead of Ace Hardware because he came home and ordered it off of Amazon. I worked at Fleet Farm (Midwest farm store) and I had a customer ask for a case of spray paint, I took my fluffy ass to the back of the store and got him a case of spray paint. It's $55.00 spent by a customer in the store. GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND WORK FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS. read more

I needed my lawn mower serviced. It was very easy to bring it in and get it back fast. Vince did a great job and I would highly recommend him for any lawnmower work. They also did curbside checkout and were very helpful getting the lawn mower in and out of my car. Thanks very much. read more

I shop regularly at this particular Ace Hardware store and have always received exceptional customer service. I'm normally greeted by the cash register attendant when I enter the building and then again by one of the employees further back in the store asking if I need help finding anything. Makes shopping there an enjoyable experience. Good job everyone! read more

The staff here is helpful and friendly. Service level is so far above HD or Lowe's. With their help I fixed my hose bib and irrigation and saved about 800 bucks by doing it myself. read more

Let me start by saying I love this store. I have always gone here first before going to big box stores. The staff is knowledgeable and I am almost always greeted upon entry by someone asking if I need help finding anything. Here is the problem: I have been in the store several times over the last few weeks. About 1/3 to 1/4 of the staff are either not wearing a mask or are not wearing it properly (covering mouth and nose). There is not even a sign at the entrance stating that masks are required by state order. About 1/4 customers did not mask up either. I interpret this to mean that the store management, by not enforcing mask usage with employees or customers, does not care about my health and safety. This virus, for about 20-30% of the people who get it, causes tremendous suffering for a long period of time. I don't want my trip to the HW store to cause myself, my family, or even people I don't know, to go through that. I don't think I'll be going back. read more
