Found this company in yelp and reach out as it has okay reviews. Kabi responded right away and offered a same day appointment for a $70 fee diagnostic fee. The tech arrived and looked at the washer and said he couldn't diagnose because he needs a second tech as my washer and driver are stackable units. The tech said I would have to pay $100 to the second tech so they can look at the unit and get it diagnose and then tell me how much will be to repair. He also said he can just find me another refurbished washer instead ( without even telling me what's wrong with my machine or what will be the cost to repair). I paid the $70 and he left and I had not diagnose and no estimate to repair and getting that information will require another visit and $100 more. I feel that I was rob/scam by this company. I contacted another company, the tech over diagnose right and did not even charge me the fee as he needer to go quote the replacement part first in order to give me a diagnose estimate. read more

Contacted LOWL through YELP messages and they responded so quickly and was able to provide me with availability. Scheduled a morning appointment between 8-11 and the guy alex/aleks was prompt and called when he was on his way. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our dryer that was leaking and gave me a very reasonable quote to get it fixed. He was done in about 30 minutes or so. Great service and professional. LOWL responded quickly with a quote and offered same day service! Dmitrii came out that evening, unboxed, removed from the pallet. However the hose connection would not fit our older valve, so he came back the next day with the necessary adapter/hose and finished the install. Quick, courteous and great pricing. LOWL provided great service. Our Maytag washer was not draining and would not initiate wash cycles. I put in a request for a quote on a Friday night and had somebody working on it by Saturday morning. Their technician Alex came and was quick to diagnose the problem. Responded quickly to me request for service but not good at diagnosing the issue. The tech tried to charge me $300+ to change a cold water pipe without checking it. Once I declined to pay, he said he checked it again and everything was fine. He couldn't find anything else wrong but just advised me to decrease my wash load and increase the soil cycle so that more water could come into the washer bin to wash the clothes. My Samsung top loader would make a loud bang as it was in the spin cycle. I contacted LOWL and they sent a technician a few days later. The technician told me it the spring rods needs to be replaced. They told me the spring rods are a special ordered part which. A month goes by not a word. I decided to give them a call, they said the spring rods are in back order. I give them the benefit of the doubt. Another month goes by not a another word. Gave them a call same bs. Part is on back order don't know when to get it. They only work with OEM parts. Later, that night a simple Google search and bam found the OEM spring rods. Got the part in a week and a half. It took about an hour to replace. With that being said they have really bad service. They never kept in touch with me. If you didn't want to do the repair you could have just told me. I'm not saying I don't recommend them, but if your part is on back order. Booked this company through Frontdoor.com and I am extremely sorry I did. My LG refrigerator quit cooling and the so called technician, Dimitrii, who did not speak much English was no help. He unscrewed something on the back of the refrigerator and said it was no good. Not sure what he meant and he couldn't understand our questions. He said it would cost $1200 and he could fix it on Monday. We said no, wrote him a check for the service call and he left. I called Frontdoor.com back, spoke to Norma and told her that we no longer wanted anything to do with this company. She said that if didn't receive an email to confirm our next appt. then we don't have one. On Monday another technician arrived to fix our refrigerator and we told him that we don't have an appt. and we don't want them to fix it. I can't believe this company sends people who don't speak or understand English and that they don't give you an estimate in writing. Lesson learned so beware! read more

i hired Lowl to install a new 48 inch kitchen hood. They gave me an appointment within 2 hours. They showed up on time and were very professional. The job was not easy since my cabinet has a certain design that made the dimensions of the hood bigger than the cabinet. They were able to do some modifications and made it work. I'm extremely pleased with the service and will definitely use it if I need to install a new appliance. Strongly recommend. read more

Don't use these people. My LG washer stopped working this morning and gave me the E6 code which, according to the internet, means there's something in the outer tub area impeding the spin. I have the brilliant idea to use a swiffer duster handle to see if I could find what might be in that outer tub area and dropped it in. Ugh! I thought I was contacting another company through Yelp, but I guess when you go through the Yelp contact it goes out to ALL the repair places listed. Anyway, I get a text from a service guy who says he can come out today - they say they charge $70 for the visit/diagnosis and will waive it if you have them do the repair. So the guy gets here, I show him the code that is displayed on the LED read out and tell him about the plastic handle that fell in. He spends a half hour in the laundry room doing I don't know what, then finally removes the top of the washer to remove the handle and tells us our washer it corroded and we need a new one. Bummer, but I kind of expected it since we have very hard water. So I'm now expecting to pay him his $70 for the visit and he says it's $145. What? He says since he took the top off to retrieve the plastic swiffer handle I dropped that he did a repair. Now I'm out $145 AND need to buy a new washer. Thanks LOWL - you've been a great help. I needed a handyman's services on a Friday afternoon. I had a dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen that had just been delivered but could not be installed (by another provider) as some modifications needed to be made to my cabinets first. I went to Yelp, asked for help and Lowl responded in no time. They said they could have their technician here in about 2 hours. I said, "Send them!" He arrived before the 2 hours. He assessed the issue, explained to me the solution and gave me a reasonable price quote. I approved the job. He made the modifications and installed my new dishwasher in a very timely manner! He cleaned up any water, wood shavings, packing materials, trash, etc. He even offered to dispose of my old dishwasher for the same price as the original vendor. I am More Than Pleased with their fast response, great work, cleanliness and customer service. If I am in need of any further appliance installation, I will DEFINITELY contact LOWL.
