Amazing experience from start to finish, for such a sad occasion. The front desk guy, (so sorry,…read moredidn't catch his name) was extremely kind & understanding. He answered all of my questions and made me feel really comfortable. Also I was so touched when I dropped off my baby and he told me to drive safe when leavinf. 1000/10 recommend! These people truly care!!!

Well this is a heart wrenching review to write, but a very necessary one none the less…read more For most of us losing a longtime companion is a devastating and paralyzing event. Whether it is due to old age, a long battle with disease or as in my case, a devastatingly fast one brought on by terminal gastrointestinal lymphoma. The owners and staff at Pet Meadows keep you informed every step of the way in the care of your baby's mortal remains. You can contact them with any questions either by email (if, like me you just can't bring yourself to even speak the words) or by phone. And they will take all the time you need and answer any questions you have with such patience and respect that I can't even put into enough words how grateful I am for this. I did have to call them regarding my baby girls arrangements, as I had already purchased a custom urn for her. And Susan was so sweet and was so helpful and patient. And even pulled up the information on my baby boy who I lost last year so we could reference size. Their Urns are excellent quality and there are many styles to choose from. Whether you want a simple glass urn, or an ornate cherry wood urn. They will accommodate you. Lastly, the one thing most people are concerned about... "Am I REALLY getting MY baby's ashes?" That answer is a big ole YES! They will even let you be there during the cremation if you wish (I was a vet tech for over 20 years but that was a big NOPE!) Their turn around time is not fast. On average it's right at about a week depending on their case load. So if a crematorium says 1-2 days.... be suspicious. I would absolutely recommend Pet Meadows.

I came across this place and saw so many great reviews, so we called. They were very kind on the phone, and we decided to bring him in that same day. We selected a private plan with viewing. There was a large, peaceful waiting room, and we were able to see our cat and say goodbye until he went into the furnace. The staff were very gentle and professional. We were truly fortunate to find this place by chance. We ordered some memorial items as well. The paw and nose prints are so cute, and the fur keepsake in the jar is lovely. We really appreciate everything they did.

I cannot recommend this business based on my experience…read more I want to begin by acknowledging that the owner was professional and respectful throughout this situation. Unfortunately, my overall experience was negatively impacted by the handling of my case by the front desk staff. After my dog passed away, I was told I needed to complete a JotForm before the cremation process could begin. I informed the receptionist multiple times that I had never received the form and asked for it to be resent. During my first call, I was placed on hold for approximately 16 minutes and was assured it would be sent. By the following day, I still had not received it, so I called again. Rather than addressing the issue, the receptionist was dismissive, repeatedly interrupted me, and was unwilling to listen as I tried to explain that I had never received the form. After more than a week with no updates or communication regarding my dog's remains, I was informed that the cremation would no longer be performed and that I would need to retrieve my dog's body instead. As a grieving pet owner, I found this deeply distressing. After my dog's body had been in their care for over a week, I was faced with the possibility of having to identify and transport her remains myself. This is an experience no family should have to endure, particularly when the delay resulted from a communication breakdown outside of their control. Compassion, clear communication, and professionalism are especially important when families are coping with the loss of a beloved pet. While I appreciate the owner's professionalism, the lack of communication and the way this situation was handled by the front desk left me disappointed and added unnecessary emotional distress during an already difficult time.

We selected a private cremation with a customized urn with engravings for her. This time around, almost six years to the day, we lost her younger sister at 18. I immediately reached out to FM once again to take care of my baby kitty girl. Genelle was absolutely amazing. We worked together by email and phone to make sure the necessary memorial arrangements were carried out to our specifications, and she delivered. This time around we were able to arrange pick up and drop off with my veterinary clinic as opposed to me driving out to Spring to pick her up. The drop off service was incredibly helpful; along with the vet staff we celebrated her life and memory with her ashes in my arms. Highly recommend.

Blue Pearl came to my house and were so sweet and loving to her and came up with NOT a hospice plan but a long-term plan to balance meds/quality of life/ improvement where possible journey. They were also phenomenal in walking me through the plan and answering any questions. The vet had pointed out some concerns with her pain level and knee and asked me to get it xray-ed asap. Turns out it was bone cancer and it had spread everywhere. I contacted my primary vet at Blue Pearl and they gave me options for her and listened to my concerns...not to mention they were incredibly sympathetic to my dilemma of coming to terms of what was best for my girl in helping her not suffer. I had to let her go shortly after and they came and spent time with her and me and gave her treats and made sure she was happy and relieved. They called and checked in on me after and would chat about what an impression she made even if they short time they knew her. I can't recommend Blue Pearl enough - I would do this 1000x over because they were caring, thorough, available, and gave Leeloo the best care in the short time ahead had left.
