I was absolutely blown away by my experience. Overall: came with my brother at 5:30 on a Tuesday. We were going to go somewhere else on Canton street, but were intrigued so we checked it out. Service: since we were there at such an off time, the service was incredible. Drink orders were immediate, food came out quickly, but considering there were maybe 4 other people not at the bar (10 max in the entire restaurant) this wasn't hard to do. Ambiance: an upscale sports bar. Tons of TVs and a great place to watch a game. Pretty quiet so couldn't see much of the clientele. Food was well plated for a bar and decor was more upscale, but not stuffy. Food: I was blown away. I had a vegetarian cauliflower sandwich with pickled cabbage and a sriracha aioli. It was absolutely amazing and the fries were great as well. My brother ordered the chicken fingers, and they were hand breaded, flavor-packed, and tender/juicy. Amazing experience with the food. Price: Very reasonably priced. For 2 people with fountain drinks-$28. Amazing when you consider the location and quality of food. Would 100% recommend, will be back soon! read more

We were patient since we know the food industry has been short staff. The Brisket was alright. The chicken sandwich was cold, our side of Brussels sprouts had good flavor but cold. Nothing comes out together, that's irritating when you're in a group of people. We were looking for a place to watch our favorite football team on a Sunday and decided to stop into Loyal. It was about a half an hour before gametime on a Sunday and James the manager met us at the door. He was so accommodating and friendly basically told us to have a seat and he would turn on the game wherever we were sitting. Can you imagine? So fast forward to a little time later and James is working the line, assisting the waiters and doing everything he needs to be doing to make everybody comfortable and satisfied. Came in randomly with a group of friends. We all ordered something different on the menu. I had the basic burger it was not cooked to my preference as I asked for medium, but the flavor was good. One at my table ordered the cob salad and said it was boring she asked for chicken with it and had to ask for more bc she only had 3-5 pieces. My friend from Wisconsin saw cheese curds on the menu and was excited for a taste of home. She said they were not authentic to home but descent. Several cocktails were purchased from drink menu and the hit was the Smokey. We had a good atmosphere as the environment was pleasant and great viewing for soccer and the Braves with plenty of TVs. Really enjoyed my experience at loyal tavern. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings and their garlic ranch. I really appreciate the different take on ranch that they had. Went really well with the onion rings. The sandwich was delicious with a nice hot sauce and chicken tenders. I was a bit disappointed in that the sauce was supposed to be insanely hot, yet I didn't think it was that spicy. The atmosphere of loyal tavern is a sight to behold. First time here and it's weird to think this used to be the Chandlery. I like the concept - casual sports bar - cause there are plenty of more upscale restaurants on this street. It's Father's Day and we didn't even think about a reservation so no surprise when they told us a 20 minute wait. It was weird that when we stepped up to the hostesses, one was clearly training another on their seating system and we stood there for a full 2 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then she said "sorry it will be just a minute". Um. Ok. So trainee takes our name and number and says she'll text when our table is ready and we said great, if you are going to text, we will wait outside. After about 20 minutes she comes rushing out to find us (didn't get the text until after we were seated). She walks us back to a dim part of the restaurant and seats us. It feels like a closed section as there are tables and booths all around us completely empty. Then she comes back and apologizes and says we may need to move because one of the servers is leaving and this section actually is closed. Then someone else comes over and says never mind, we can stay. Ok then. Our area stayed dim and empty throughout our meal. Husband asks about a beer that he hasn't heard of before and the waitress doesn't know anything about it. Turns out it's just a typo on the menu so he gets something standard. I order a tall pour of white wine - for $22!! wow!! She brings water and then tells us the bar is very backed up so drinks will be a minute. Servers are literally running past our table every couple of minutes. Then one stops by and says "we accidentally duplicated a chips and queso order...would you like it?" Um. Ok. Nice to get the freebie but evidence of another mix up. Chips/queso were pretty decent but obviously not made on premises. Drinks finally arrive. I order Cobb salad with chicken and he orders the BLAT with fries. My salad came first and shortly after his sandwich. Pet peeve but why not just hold the salad until the sandwich is ready? I hate sitting there watching th my food in front of me, just waiting. Salad was good. Hubs didn't care for his sandwich. Pros: our server, Gabby, was cheerful and attentive. Decor/ambiance was good. Love that they have bag holders on the booths. Staff was friendly if a little frazzled. Menu looked decent except for the prices. Overall it felt like a restaurant that had been open for a day or two and was working to hit its rhythm, not like one open for a month. And really pricey. Have really grown to like this place. First few times were a bit rough but food quality has improved. Burger is excellent, wings are solid, ranch is homemade and incredible, and deviled eggs are awesome. French dip was just ok; some of the tacos haven't been great but It isn't a taco place anyways. I have been here multiple times and have had a great food experience. However, the last two times the service has been iffy. This past time I felt that the bartender was rude. I was disappointed when we ordered the pretzel and asked for mustard and they gave us packets. It is much smaller inside, so if you come with a large group, I HIGHLY recommend coming earlier to snag a table because it fills up quick and the wait time could be long. I came with a group of 10 and within a couple hours, we were glad we came when we could because people were starting to seat themselves! (It was the first day of college football and now that NFL season has started, well you get the picture). Our server, Chandler was great! He handled himself and the crowd well. I had ordered the Tavern Burger, and unfortunately it kinda fell flat for me. Much smaller than I imagined and the American cheese slices on there made it almost taste "fake"? Fun location in the middle of downtown Roswell. Parking is the most difficult part as it's usually not close and not free on weekends or evenings. Got right in on a Friday night around 7:45. Service wasn't slow but definitely not quick. Mojito was good, beer was cold, and they had great wings as an appetizer. They are HUGE. Really enjoyed my brisket taco. I've been to Loyal before and it was good. We ordered through Uber Eats tonight and it was not. I got the CBA and specifically requested extra crispy bacon. What I got was icky floppy slimy bacon and avocado that was both brown and hard - which was weird. $14 is pricey for a piece of grilled chicken which is all that could be eaten. The kids grilled cheese was good and the brisket tacos were ok. I hope this isn't one of the restaurants that pays more attention to their in-house customers and ignores the order out customers, but it seems like it. After 2 hrs of contemplation, the bartender was awesome and deserving of a higher rating, hence the 2 stars. That being said, the chicken philly was terrible. Tough, chewy, dry, overpriced, and took 30 mins. There were 2 other people at the bar and 2 tables with patrons. Why so bad? And why so long? AND there was an upcharge from brisket to chicken. We popped in here on a Friday evening as a group of 3 adults. We had drank couple beers at the brewery next door and walked over for a bite to eat. We were seated by a friendly host and were given a booth. The atmosphere here is pub-bar style with lots of big TVs. I imagine that many people come here to watch a game or two. We were interested in the food and beer. Our server suggested a dark beer which wasn't my thing so I opted for a beer from the brewery next door, on tap, of course. One friend got a dark stout, not recommended by the server. We were both happy with our beer choices. For food we planned to share couple plates and decided the vegetable burger would definitely be on the list because our server recommended it. With the burger, we got sweet potato fries. Along with that we ordered a cauliflower side which looked great. Although the food came out quickly, it didn't wow us. The vegetable burger had beets in it but also had few other ingredients that were underwhelming. Although this burger was a step above the freezer section veg. burgers, it wasn't anything to return for. The cauliflower, also, decent wasn't amazing. I was expecting to love the cauliflower but wasn't wowed. I don't know if it was an off night or that they were newly opened, I didn't care for the food here. Our server was very nice and accommodating with our requests but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Can't speak for parking since we walked over. read more
