Restaurant reviews can be to some degree subjective but a service is not. Johnnies was highly rated, as it should be. Sophia was a wonderful salesperson and found a refrigerator that met our needs and price range perfectly. Really wonderful communication. When delivery and installation was made, David absolutely provided the most efficient and pleasant experience. Only one answer in a time like this: Yelp. Alas, turns out yelpers in LB haven't had much need for dryer repair or cheap dryers, so I turned to the default answer number two: Craiglist. Buying appliances on Craigslist is risky business, but when I came across someone who looked like they ran a relatively legitimate business, i gave them a call and chatted with the most charmingly grumpy old man ever: James. Ah, James. He'll tell you what's what, and he won't beat around the bush. And he'll tell you just what he thinks of the city of Long Beach, and how he still busts his balls working after 30 years in business. And, finally, he'll tell you if your dryer is worth repairing. My wasn't, but I was in luck - he has a warehouse chock FULL of dryers he repaired himself. Now, this may sound shady, but I'm pretty sure it's fully legit. Mostly relatively late model dryers for $150-$200(he's also got refrigerators and some washers - not sure 'bout the price on those). Other folks on CL sell dryers for the same price, but I tell you what, they don't come with the one year James warranty, no siree. The dryer was delivered and installed the same day, and works like a charm all for just about $200. ...next time I'm wearing *real clothes* and not a dingy old KROQ shirt, I've got grumpy ol' James to thank.

He said it would cost $360 to fix but that he'd sell me a used dryer (same one) for $350. He only takes cash. I paid him his $50 service call fee and asked for a picture of the part. The picture included a price of $520. None of it made sense and I had a bad feeling. I had a different company come out. When they opened the dryer a wire had been cut. Clean cut. No one has touched the dryer since it was installed until these people came out. All this guy wanted to do was sell me a used dryer when my almost new dryer can be repaired for $75. He is a scammer!

I will make this short and simple. Stay away from ordering here. Blinds took over 4 months, and doors came incorrect and tried to blame us for ordering it incorrectly. After complaining they approved to have the door changed. It took them almost 6 months to get the right door. All you get is regret and frustration! We then proceeded to complain, and to add insult we got $1 gift card as an apology to our experience. Lowe's is a joke! Never never again!!!!
