While the cost was higher than what I was used to paying, she was kind enough to offer me a discounted rate with a newer technician. I came in with powder on my nails and told Gayan that my goal was to grow and maintain my natural nails with gel only, no powder. To my surprise, Beauty by Lid Studio doesn't even use powder, which I found very refreshing and different from most salons. Gayan carefully removed the powder and spent an incredible amount of time perfecting each nail. She was meticulous, patient, and paid attention to every detail. There was no rushing, no shortcuts, just precision and care. I also had a pedicure with Syuzi, who was equally attentive and thorough. The entire appointment took about an hour and a half, but it was absolutely worth it. I left with beautiful, naturally long, oval-shaped nails that feel strong, healthy, and elegant without any powder or builder products weighing them down.
