I love this cute little nail salon. The women that work here are soooo sweet. And their work is amazing. My pedicures last a month and a half without chipping believe it or not! And that's with just regular nail polish! They're small and get a little busy but worth it! Call and make an appointment so that you can ensure you get a spot! I got gel X extensions by Veronica. These are Taylor Swift inspired nails for her Eras tour. My appointment was at 3:30 and I only waited a bit before it was my turn. She was gentle but thorough, there was no pain. We were chatting most of the time. She was so sweet to make sure the colors matched my inspiration pictures as closely as possible. I wanted a ombré without soaking off my previous acrylic and Lanny made a proactive decision to use acrylic for the pink and white gel polish for the white part which I think is so clever. Hands down, THE BEST nail salon in SCV! :) In the past, getting my nails done hasn't been something I've "enjoyed" ... I would eventually go in just because it became a necessity- but I always wanted it to be over quickly! I also like to bring in my little girl for a "mommy-daughter date" ... but at most Salons we've been to, they just rush to paint her nails without even cleaning them, and she ends up finishing in 10 mins - then has to wait 45 for me. I normally love to try new nail places! This place got great reviews so I wanted to try. The woman - seemed to be owner was really sweet and welcoming. Veronica was my nail tech and had been running 15 min late. I'm okay with that, life happens, traffic... etc. but when it came time to get into my nails (gel mani, reg pedi) I had no gel on so it seemed to me to be simple to get it started first. When I say, she took a call, went to the restroom and also texted on her phone during my appt while I was sitting there, she was filing here and there, she just seemed frazzled. I did not get actual polish on my nails till 10:05am. I was there at 9am, which was my appt time. The owner had to have another nail tech jump in and help her finish, and did my pedicure because I've been there. I've been sitting and soaking for about 30 mins, yet again, with no polish, nothing done. I'm disappointed and my nail color doesn't look blended. I've been to more places than I can count around town, and have been looking for a salon to regularly go - this is now "my nail salon." My nails were done by Lon and I had such a wonderful and relaxing experience. She gives wonderful advice and great conversation. Her nails came out more beautiful that I had imagined for my Bridal Shower. Vena did a lovely job on my pedicure. Teresa graciously gave me a last minute appointment on a Saturday. Been a Customer for this salon for about 5 months and my last appointment was one of the worst. Made my appointment a week in advance only to be told the same day and hour before that it had to be pushed back 30 minutes and I still had to wait longer than that. I Managed to get half the service requested to be told I have to wait 45 minutes to complete the other half because the customer scheduled for the time is already there. Idk if it's because I'm black I was being treated differently but how was it ok for me to wait and not the others? I left upset and told that I wouldn't return it was my broth day weekend and I left without my pedicure. I work hard for my money to be treated differently as if though I'm not a paying customer too. The salon was cute and the gal was nice but I will not be going back. I went for a powder dip, she said with short nails she prefers to dip the base coat but do the color in gel polish, I'd never heard that before but said that was fine. She filed my nails even shorter than they were and shaped them VERY round, like it looked like I had coins on each of my fingers. On two of the nails she even said out loud "oh I didn't mean to file so much" and then added dip product back on to even out the shape. She used dip powder with gel polish base (as opposed to dip liquids) and at the end the majority of my fingers had excess product sticking the free edge of my nail to the skin below it that she then had to separate, and multiple spots of cured product on my skin. From the start to finish of my appointment was an hour and 45 minutes, which was way too long for my liking. And exactly a week after I somehow had a bubble in the polish on my thumb that peeled up so I just filed off the color myself. Definitely not worth paying for a manicure that only lasts a week. read more

I have been going to Teresa for quite awhile now. I followed her from another nail salon as she does an amazing job! I use to do nails myself so I know what to look for. My nails never lift, she shapes them beautifully and they aren't thick looking. Teresa owns and works at this salon but, all the women are friendly and good at their craft. Heather is great for pedicures!!! The salon is newly decorated and so pretty. The atmosphere of the salon is set by the friendly, personal and witty personalities of everyone who works there. I won't go anywhere else!! Teresa is a pro! Want to sing Teresa's praises again.....I showed her a pic of a nail design and what she did was beautiful...it was exactly what I asked for. After I left, I kept looking at the colors and since I'm "particular" I wanted a color with more of the same undertone of the glitter polish we used on the middle finger. I don't want to completely bash this place because you can tell the ladies work really hard, but it's honestly not the best. I went in a handful of times, and every single time, I asked to be booked with one specific person, and it only happened once. The rest of the times, I was told I could wait for her, which defeated the purpose of having an appointment in the first place. I stopped going because they would make my toe bleed every single time. One time, the tech got scared because she couldn't get the blood to stop. Also, their usual customers are a bit much, to say the least. Very racist demeanor, which I know it is not the fault of the owner but still be warned you will be dealing with a specific type of crowd by going here.
