    Lifted and horrible paint can see right through the nails and it just doesn't look like I paid $100 for this

    Daughter and I got our nails done here, Pedicure I give zero complaints about! Beautiful work! The only thing is she didn't do my nails! The manager did my gel x and just like past reviews she's pretty rude and does not give welcoming vibes. I was told gel x would last 1 month and it's been a week and a half and my nails are all lifted I really just want to pull them off they look terrible paid over 300 not including $25 tip for each tech After we left I asked my daughter about the manager and she also said she felt uncomfortable because she was just not friendly at all,

    I started coming to Tipsy Nail about 5 months ago after my usual nail lady moved out of state. I wanted to wait in writing this review to ensure that there was consistency of the service...well there is! This place is amazing! Every technician is impeccable. The attention to detail with nail art is impressive. My last visit I came in with 2 broken nails (like all the way to the skin!) and they fixed them up and look exactly like my natural nail!! Important to note: if you want nail art (including French) you have to book it separately on their booking system...not horrible just a little different than most places. It just makes sure they have enough time to make your nails look PERFECT!

    When I moved to Santa Clarita 6 months ago I was so desperate to find a nail place that I liked and that met my needs. Then I found Miranda at Tipsy Nails! Everyone is always so welcoming and kind! Miranda always figures out and does exactly what I want for my nails and makes sure that I am happy throughout the process. Makes recommendations of new techniques, shapes, sizes and colors! And she is super good at making you feel comfortable. Tipsy Nails is also very accessible, they have parking and it's so close to the old town newhall main street.

    Even though it's appointment only there has never been a time where I can't get an appointment. I've been going here for over a year and have not been disappointed. Marinda is always open to the designs I show her and my gel manicure is always looking amazing! I always receive great customer service when I go and would 100% recommend.

    Doing what I should've done 2 months ago. I failed to make it to my appointment due to unforeseen events and missed my appointment. It was a no show. I understand this takes away from other clients booking reservations and that was an honest mistake on my part. However, this was my ONE AND ONLY TIME DOING SO. So what did they decide to do? Charge me for the entire set ($85 dollars). I would understand a $10 no show fee but $85 dollars!? That's ridiculous! They didn't call me once to ask if I was coming in or even notify me of the charges or authorize the payment on my cardI Anyway, I called and apologized for missing my appointment, explained the situation and requested a refund since this was my first and only time doing a no show. They told me to send an email or DM their Instagram to request a refund when they could've just done it right there. They were so quick to charge my card but took their sweet time to issue a refund? Not to my surprise, they ignored my request. THEN I called my bank to dispute the charge. Funny enough, my bank informed me that they're not even ALLOWED to charge my card without notifying me first to authorize the charges, whether or not I agreed to the terms of their policy online. (Aka illegal) Yesterday, I requested an appointment because I was over it and this is the message I received. I thought of a million responses but figured this would be the best thing to do :) DO NOT GO HERE! This place is overpriced and the owners/workers are shady (aka Miranda and Maritza). The fact that you even have to put your card on file is a MAJOR red flag. While we're at it, $3 PER NAIL FOR A DESIGN??? Bye! UPDATE: the owner clearly can't read either and is trying to manipulate the situation. The timeline of the situation that I WROTE is correct. Just look at his response. Scammers!

    Yesterday was my first time at Tipsy Nails. I had been going to another local business and wasn't happy with the quality of service and was looking to try somewhere new. I read a few reviews to see how to schedule an appointment online and set it up for 10 am the next day. My nail tech was running late, but luckily Maritza was available and she got started on me right away. When Miranda arrived, she took over. The girls were very friendly and professional during my appointment and Miranda did a great job on my nails, especially the design. I showed her an inspo picture from Pinterest and she was able to do exactly what I wanted. She checked in with me multiple times to confirm that I liked the color, design, filing, etc. Because it was my first time, I didn't know that when you booked nail art online, you needed to add 2 nail art slots if the design was complicated or on every nail. Luckily, Miranda was able to honor my request this time. And now I know how to book properly next time. She even made time to add a little something extra on one of my nails that we didn't plan on. Thank you again, Miranda!

Remembering this location, I made an appointment online with Mariam for Saturday at 11am. I arrived 10 minutes early, and she was ready for me. I warned her in advanced that I'm terrified of the drill and nail file, so I would most likely flinch or make a funny face when it is in use. Unfortunately, my fear is so much worse than I thought because I was uncontrollably squirming/ tensing up, and truly just being a nightmare client. Mariam was SO EXTREMELY patient, kind, and gentle with me. She kept checking in to make sure I was okay, and would announce when the scary part was done. I was so embarrassed by my behavior, but she was very sweet. In addition to her kindness, she was fast. I got a Russian manicure with fast gel (no removal) for $85 (and a $2.47 service fee). The whole process took 45 minutes. The color came out exactly how I wanted it to, and I was very please with how uniform the shape of the nails were. FYI: There are two Beauty By Lid locations. One is for hair, eyebrows, facials, etc, while the other one is the nail salon. The nail salon location has a smaller and tighter parking lot.

    I've been a loyal customer of C'est L'amour Nail Salon since they opened their Newhall location and…read morehave experienced a range of service levels over time. Today, I scheduled an appointment for a basic manicure and an upgraded pedicure (Sea Breeze). I was told they had a 4:30 PM opening and that the same technician would perform both services back-to-back. I was given an estimated service time of about 1.5 hours, depending on the pedicure package I selected. I arrived early at 4:14 PM and was seated promptly. The technician began my pedicure right away. I opted for the upgraded package because I was looking for a relaxing experience--this was my last pedicure before giving birth, and I wanted it to last. Unfortunately, the experience was rushed and disappointing. The pedicure, which is advertised to take 40-45 minutes, was completed in just 25 minutes. Corners were clearly cut. The same rushed approach was taken with the basic manicure, which was finished in only 15 minutes, despite the advertised 25-30 minutes. One of the key features--the sugar scrub lotion massage--was essentially skipped. The technician handed me the scrub and instructed me to rub it on myself, then returned just to rinse my hands. I was still charged for the full service. After completing both services in just 45 minutes, I was left sitting for an additional 10 minutes with no communication from the technician, who had disappeared. I raised my concerns with the front desk employee, who was professional and not at fault. She connected with a manager over the phone, and I was offered a 5% discount--equivalent to just $3.40 for my $68 bill. Frankly, this felt like an insult given how much of the service was lacking. I don't mind paying for quality service, but when the service is rushed, incomplete, and far below expectations, it's only fair that the pricing reflects that. At this point, the issue goes beyond just one employee--it points to a broader management problem. When staff are consistently cutting corners while management continues to charge premium prices, it reflects poorly on the business as a whole.
