I've been to so many head spas, but NOTHING compares to getting a full head-to-toe massage where you're literally being handled like a chef tenderizing meat The way she was digging into my skin had me fighting for my life -- but in the most rejuvenating, magical way. Trust the process and let her rough-handle you. Is it painful? Yes. Did I shed a tear? Also yes. Was it worth it? HECK. YEAH. Asian aunties are NOT afraid to beat you up a little and send you home feeling like jello And that's BEFORE the head and facial massage even starts. Honestly, I get so disappointed when I end up at places that just lightly play with my hair like I'm some house cat. I'm not here for soft, feathery touches. I want PRESSURE. I want TECHNIQUE. I want my soul to leave my body and come back renewed. And trust me... you WILL get the best head and face massage here. She uses multiple products, different tools, and even a steaming device that makes you look like an alien but in a good way. For a full 90 minutes she does. not. stop. kneading. Forget falling asleep. You'll be too busy floating between pain, pleasure, and pure bliss. And get the $150 royal treatment package. It's a 100/10. Worth every penny!!

So this review is coming As someone who has visited both the Westminster and Anaheim locations approximately 18 times, I can confidently say the quality here is consistently excellent. My regular masseuse was unavailable, so I saw Sophia instead, With over 20 years of experience( she have magic hand) Her technique significantly reduced my facial swelling and eye puffiness. I've uploaded before-and-after photos to show the results. My face appeared more lifted and revitalized post-treatment. Highly recommend.

They prioritize using their hands over massage tools, which made the experience more personal. Came here with high hopes because of the reviews and prices. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed because the person washing my hair was either tired or just not good at this. Her touch was so gentle it felt more like a feather. When she would "massage" my face, and shoulders it was so gentle that I immediately knew it was not worth my time and money. Zero pressure came out of her fingers. It's as if my little sister was playing with my hair and face. Too bad because she was really sweet person. I did tip her very well for her time because she was kind. Not worth my time and money! read more

The service at Hi-lite hair salon was amazing. I've been twice in the last 6 months. Both times was a really nice experience. I received the deluxe treatment and it didn't disappoint. Very relaxing! This place is definitely overrated considering the price. The facial and massage felt rushed and lacked depth. The staff member attending to me kept chatting with a coworker right beside me, which was distracting. I was not aware that they had applied hot oil to my scalp and covered it with a cap -- it started to burn intensely. I tried to tough it out and adjusted the cap, but it didn't help. My scalp was still hurting afterward. The next day, I discovered that the hot oil had actually burned some of the skin on my scalp, and there was discharge from the area. I had to go to urgent care and was diagnosed with a burn. I will not go back. read more

I left with my hair in the biggest knot. I had to go home and re-wash my hair. The products they use are very strong smelling as well. They never asked if I wanted to upgrade to a higher quality product. I went with a group of girls and they separated all of us, knowing we were together. We won't be back. read more

I would never go back to this place! Vy was unprofessional, disrespectful and rude to her coworker Bella in front of us. While Bella was blow drying my cousins hair Vy pushed her against the curtains and started yelling at her. Vy started crying and was acting like the victim. Bella was crying because she said it's not the first time she does this to her and wants Bella to get fired. Vy is the one that pushed her. We approach the owner Thi and she didn't seem to care what Vy did. We will not be going back or recommending our friends and family members. Bella was very worried to get fired. So, if she's not there anymore. It's Vy fault and shame on the owner Thi to keep Vy instead of Bella, when Bella is the real victim and has lots of good reviews on yelp. read more

Found this spot online and had good reviews. Notice they have two locations one in Anaheim and one in Westminster. The one is Westminster is a lot closer to me so I made an appointment online for a Friday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at the time I went and the customer service was great. Staff were all so friendly and kind. Got the Classic Treatment with Trish. She was so friendly and talented. She did a great job to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Definitely felt relaxed and refreshed after the treatment. They focus not just on hair but gave a nice facial and neck shoulder massage . Both my hair and skin felt so nice, rejuvenated and brought back to life. Will share this spot to anyone who hasn't been or looking for a go to spot. read more

My appointment was today 5/13/24 10:30am with my cousin for mother's day. We both got the $100 HL special. The lady that did my service burnt my scalp when she was drying my hair. When I told the receptionist all she said was "I'm sorry, your experience was unpleasant. I hope you give us another try". I still paid the service, no tip and left. After reading reviews, It seems like this business runs on first timers cuz I would never come back here again. Also, it wasn't relaxing at all. All this lady did to my scalp was scratch it.. no massage what so ever.. lol.. plus you can hear the street noise and other people waiting to get their service done talking loudly in the front. None of the staff bothered to sh*t them up. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

Possibly one of the worst massages I've ever had…read more My massage therapist was Terry, and she kept leaving the room throughout the session. At one point, my entire back was left uncovered for what felt like nearly 30 minutes while it was still wet from the wet towel and massage oil. I was freezing and incredibly uncomfortable. The massage itself was very disappointing. I originally requested medium pressure, but instead she repeatedly dug her elbow into my neck, moving it back and forth without any real technique or purpose. It was painful rather than therapeutic. I eventually asked her to switch to light pressure, but then the massage became so light that it barely felt like a massage at all. It was just rubbing with no technique or muscle work. I've honestly had better massages during a pedicure. I had been looking forward to relaxing and even falling asleep, but instead I couldn't relax because the massage was uncomfortable and ineffective. It honestly felt amateurish and lazy. The most frustrating part came when it was time to pay. When booking, they require a $40 deposit. Since I was unhappy with my massage, I told the receptionist I wanted to leave a $20 tip for my husband's massage therapist, who did a good job, and only $10 for mine. Instead of respecting my decision, they REPEATEDLY pressured me to leave a $40 tip since they already have my "deposit". I had to repeat myself THREE separate times: "$20 for my husband's therapist and $10 for mine." I don't mind tipping for good service, but I don't believe poor service should be rewarded. Being pressured to increase the tip after such a disappointing experience left an even worse impression than the massage itself.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the scalp massage I recently received at your salon. Not only did the therapist Celine & Hien fail to use all the products advertised, but the overall pricing for the service was completely unjustified. When I booked the scalp massage for my sister and I, we were excited to indulge in a luxurious treatment that would leave our scalp feeling rejuvenated and nourished. However, upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the therapist did not utilize all the products mentioned in the treatment description which we both selected the "PAMPER" pkg $110. This lack of product usage was not only misleading, but it also affected the overall effectiveness of the massage. Just about every device she used felt short and rush 5-10 secs! Not even exaggerating! Furthermore, the pricing for the scalp massage was exorbitant, especially considering the subpar experience I received. I expected a premium service for the price I paid, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The therapist seemed rushed, failing to provide the level of attention and care that I had anticipated. Moreover, the ambiance of the salon did not match the high price point. The atmosphere was lackluster, and there was no sense of luxury or relaxation. I felt like I was just another customer in a conveyor belt of treatments, rather than receiving a personalized and indulgent experience. The water harness was only used for a good 10 secs as well!!! As a customer, I believe it is essential to receive the value for the money spent. However, in this instance, I left your salon feeling unsatisfied and frustrated by the lack of products used/advertise and attention to detail. Whatever the shampoo being used made my hair color brassy. I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the issues raised. Customers deserve to receive the services they pay for, and it is crucial for your salon to provide a consistent and exceptional experience. I urge you to reevaluate your pricing structure and ensure that all therapists are trained to deliver the promised services with utmost care and expertise. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this spa. My friends and I had booked appointments in advance, only to find out upon arrival that they had double-booked us. What's worse, they didn't notify us in a timely manner beforehand, leaving us to show up, only to be told we'd have to wait for over three hours for our appointment. The lack of communication was beyond frustrating. No one reached out to let us know about the scheduling issue until we arrived, and when we asked for a resolution, the customer service was unhelpful at best. The staff made no attempt at making things right. This was an entirely avoidable situation, and I expected better from a business that should be focused on providing a relaxing experience. We won't be returning, and we suggest others think twice before booking here. Completely unacceptable! read more

I made an appointment at 1 o'clock and drove all the way from Irvine only to be told there was no available time when I got there. This is completely unacceptable and a huge waste of my time. I originally requested medium pressure, but instead she repeatedly dug her elbow into my neck, moving it back and forth without any real technique or purpose. It was painful rather than therapeutic. I eventually asked her to switch to light pressure, but then the massage became so light that it barely felt like a massage at all. It was just rubbing with no technique or muscle work. I've honestly had better massages during a pedicure. I had been looking forward to relaxing and even falling asleep, but instead I couldn't relax because the massage was uncomfortable and ineffective. It honestly felt amateurish and lazy. The most frustrating part came when it was time to pay. When booking, they require a $40 deposit. Since I was unhappy with my massage, I told the receptionist I wanted to leave a $20 tip for my husband's massage therapist, who did a good job, and only $10 for mine. Instead of respecting my decision, they REPEATEDLY pressured me to leave a $40 tip since they already have my "deposit". I had to repeat myself THREE separate times: "$20 for my husband's therapist and $10 for mine." I don't mind tipping for good service, but I don't believe poor service should be rewarded. Being pressured to increase the tip after such a disappointing experience left an even worse impression than the massage itself.
