I'm kind of blown away from the reviews but as far as he pizza goes I can tell you from being a pizza snob from the Northeast this is awful pizza. If the other food is good I don't know this is strictly for the pizza only. I was kind of shocked got a veggie pizza and a meat pizza they were 16 inches at best and it was $20 each with tax. The quality of the toppings were low and the crust was flat skinny and tasteless. I've had Walmart frozen pizza and I could say it probably most resembles the quality of that. The toppings were extremely low quality and the pizza itself was extremely overpriced for what you get. The garlic bread however was very good. I think Jets's Pizza is also extremely overpriced but at least it was better quality. These domino Papa John's chain type places really are awful and they can't compare to a good old mom and pop pizza place. I thought this was a mom-and-pop type of place but it taste like the typical commercially made pies everywhere. If you want a much better pizza and don't want to spend a lot of money you can get a loaded pizza with everything on it even larger for $4.99 at Aldie pop in the oven for 15 minutes and you're done. It's a much better pizza and certainly a better price. If you buy some premade dough put put on your own toppings and sauce you will cut the calories and chemicals in half and certainly have a much better pizza overall. How this pizza place got almost 5 stars really makes me wonder what's going on. With more and better food coming from other parts of the country these places are going to have a difficult time in the future they better step up their game if they're going to survive. I guess if you've never had good pizza besides commercial chains this may be considered good that's my only thought but it's not good pizza. Not that aldis is all good either but at least it's better and it's a quarter of the price. read more

Our family had a delicious meal here while traveling through from Nashville. Extremely fresh ingredients. Complimentary garlic rolls while we waited for our Greek salad and cheese pizza. I would love to try other items on the menu but it would be hard to pass up these items next time! We met the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. They have a pay it forward option and we learned they serve pizza at a local shelter once a month. What a positive establishment all the way around! Being a pizza connoisseur, I decided to try Luca's Pizza. I just moved back in to the area, and I'm unpacking so it just made sense. Anyhow, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 10 wings. The wings were atrocious. They weren't cooked all the way, and there was little hot sauce that looked and tasted more like grease than hot sauce. I took one bite, and that was all I could eat. They were disgusting. I also asked for bleu cheese and received ranch. The pizza was very average. I've read some reviews on here where people claim to be from NY, and this pizza brought them back to the city. I can't agree with these assessments at all. I'm originally from Western NY, and this pizza wasn't anything like what I've eaten in the past. If it was, I would only eat wings when I'm in Buffalo instead of the pizza. The cheese they use is pretty tasty, but the sauce is very bland. The price was ok, and their online ordering went well. I'm not sure whether or not if I will give Luca's another shot. Worst pizza we have had probably ever. Tried to order by phone but the accent of the person who answered was so thick I couldn't understand him, so I hung up and ordered online. Ordered a large margarita pizza and tried a cheese calzone for the kids. Not sure how you can mess up such a simple pizza and calzone but they were nasty and expensive! If I could reach my backside, I'd kick it for driving past this place so many times without trying it. We have been missing out. The pizza was thin and delicious, the little garlic rolls were dripping with butter, and covered in cheese and garlic. Fantastic. While we were there, Margaret checked on us no less than four times. She was very attentive. This is not a chain; rather, a local restaurant serving recipes Margaret created and that her parents and grandparents passed down. She was checking on us enough to answer all of our "how do you do that" questions about the quality, speed of putting it on the table, tasting so hot and fresh, etc. Our visit was just great. We were really impressed!!! The owner was super nice offered us bread to try it was AMAZING love garlic bread and you could taste the fresh garlic. My husband ordered the meat lovers he said it was very good, lots of meat! I ordered the margherita YUM the balsamic reduction on the pizza really tied the flavors together, I highly recommend. We shared a homemade cannoli to round out our meal... Wow just wow. When you visit please ask about the pay it forward system, you can donate and 1 time monthly they feed the homeless! Best pizza in Murfreesboro, in my humble opinion! The garlic knots they bring you are delicious! Their calzones are also fantastic! They're huge though, so anticipate two meals for most people. They don't have a soda machine, you just buy it by the bottle or can. They'll bring you cups and ice. There's plenty of parking in the lot. I happened to stumble across this place about a year ago. I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise because visibility isn't that great. The eating area is small and they only have one TV, so I wouldn't recommend bringing in a huge part unless you call first and find out that nobody else is eating there.
