After 7 spinal surgeries, Throat, Lymph nodes cancer heart attacks in 2024 and a history of Peptic Ulcers from corporate management, worldwide and stress I never know if tomorrow will come. I was in so much pain I wanted it to just end. ER staff were quick and kind as well. CT Scan was taken and medications given fir my stomach. I called Dr. Hepps MD on Saturday from the hospital and he didn't rush me and explained how he could see me ASAP. He did. 3 days later I was in his office. SUCRALFATE RX and Ondansetron has helped. We do need an Endoscopy/Colonoscopy and Dr. Hepps is working on getting cardiologist, Dr. Gazi MD approval. I am on blood thinners so it's dangerous. I am very sick and we must see what is causing this (cysts, spots on colon. Gastritis, etc.?). Bless you and your staff doctor. You helped lower the temperature. Sometimes it's just too much and we think we cannot go on.

They are corporately owned by Unio Health and the office treats you like a number, not a person. You can never get a person on the phone, rather it's leave a voice mail or use their web portal (that isn't the same name as the office--- Unio, a Genesis Health facility). If you leave a voice mail they promise to get back to you within 48 hours which is NOT acceptable. The phone tree is a time suck. They must be understaffed. Furthermore, they sign you up with a corporate "Health program" where an RN in Tennessee calls you to discuss and update your health. She's a generalist, not someone familiar with your chart. Then they charge your insurance (Medicare) for a "visit" when a doctor in this practice reviews some general information that the RN has sent to them. This reeks of unnecessary charges. Patient beware!!

All the information and prep prior to my procedure was top notch. I didn't mind waiting a little bit late for my procedure to start. Although the facility is old and needs major updates, I was still pretty happy to be there - UNTIL I WASN'T. So after prepping and taking my last minute information, I was moved into the procedure room. As I was lying on my side, just about to be knocked out, I saw something move on the monitor. The camera probe was sitting on a desk top type thing and you could see what the camera sees on a large screen above it. It is a camera they use for the probe and of course everything in its view is enlarged. At first I thought it was a spider. The camera was locked on it and it started to move. I said the the anesthesiologist, "Look a spider! Oh no, wait thats a crab! Look you guys a crab!" But it had disappeared off camera by then and who knows where it went. Although the nurse half heartedly took a quick glance for it, they blew it off like I didn't really see it and then I was out. Okay, oh my God. Yes, it was a crab and it was moving. I wish I would have stopped the whole thing right there but it happened so fast I didn't really process it. I wasn't sure about saying anything but apparently there are no procedures in place to be sure something like this doesn't happen. Because it did - it happened. They better hope to God I don't end up with something after visiting this place. I'm not even kidding. Lawsuits require real damages and I better not have any. If I had known the possibility of picking up an STD was so easy at this place, I would have gone somewhere else. Avoid this place until they get better, cleaner safety standards in place. For real.

He didn't let me get a single sentence out, cut me off every time I spoke, and told me that what had been happening for the last couple months didn't matter -- only what my symptoms are "today." He didn't want to hear about any of the details that lead up to me being there, which would've took 5 minutes for me to explain to him. He just wanted to get to the next patient in the room, and didn't care at all about me. All he did was order me a colonoscopy/endoscopy because I told him about my family history of CRC, but I was so anxious and disappointed after this appointment that I canceled it and the follow-up afterards. Instead, I found a great new GI in Newport Beach, CA, who had a 30-40 minute consultation with me as a first-time patient, listened to my issues, explained things really nicely to me, and gave me a full plan/regimen out the door. He also ordered me the same colonoscopy/endoscopy, which I scheduled and will be doing soon. I left this new doctor's office feeling much more relieved and prepared about what to do next, and listened to/seen. If I were you, I would think twice about wasting your time for an appointment to see Dr. Naim. I was not happy with him or his practice at all, and would not recommend him to anyone I know.

We found out ourselves as we got a new pcp and new insurance cards out of nowhere. Of course due to Dr. Arasheben's office not notifying us of this change, we ran out of medication refills and had to wait for an appointment with a new PCP. Additionally, while we were still with this doctor's office, they would require visits every 3 months just for medication refills which seemed like a money grab. Overall, I unfortunately don't recommend Thrive CMG.
