've always loved their food truck, so I was pumped to find out they have a full location inside the Milk Market. Ordering is super easy because they have a touchscreen menu with all the options and customizations laid out clearly. Only one person was working when I went, but she was incredibly fast and handled several orders in under 10 minutes. You don't have to hover around the counter either because they will text you as soon as your food is ready. Smooth, quick, and just as tasty as the truck!

The chicken wrap was filling and tasted great. The chicken was still moist and tender while being crispy on the outside. The service was quick and friendly. I especially liked the sweet potato waffle fries. It was a little dark inside and hard to tell it was open, but glad we stopped for a bite to eat here.

If you cannot decide what to eat at the Milk Market, I highly recommend stopping by the Lucky Bird area and read the menu. Their selection is pretty good and watching the orders come out is just so mouthwatering - that's the reason why making my choice was pretty easy. And honestly, the chicken sandwich was just not eye-candy, it was DELICIOUS. The gochujang butter was a unique way of prepping the spice and I loved it so much. The chicken was crispy and juicy and filled with so much flavor. Every bite was mesmerizing - this definitely is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had!

Stop here for a lunch bite. The chicken is delicious, I had the Asian tenders. Spicy and flavorful. And well priced.

The guys upfront who took my order had a straight face with no hello or anything. I was like "Are you mute?" He absolutely said nothing when I said hi to him so service is NONEXISTENT. I like the ambience or decor however. As the store's name says it all, this place is all about lunch boxes. All sorts of colorful boxes are displayed throughout the store's space. It's like stepping into the world of Marvel or some heavily anime-themed shop. Quite fun. And the food? Not bad either. I got the Beet Poke and the German Potato Salad in the small (8oz) tubs for to go. I tasted both of them taking a few bites out of each as soon as I got back to my car and both are/were a solid (side) dishe for sure. But I still couldn't get over the rude service by that guy upfront (he had some sort of a Day of the Dead face painting). This store could be elevated to a whole another level had their service been solid. Some polishing is required in that regard for sure. Unfortunate that the store's image can be ruined simply by one person's misconduct. I will not return for a while.

Easy to get to this location as well as find street parking. Coffee to go as well as flavorful and filling food. Almost everything on the menu is vegan/vegetarian or "regular" so that's a huge plus. Something for everyone! Breakfast is the main event but they do lunch stuff also. I mean seriously DELICIOUS food. I'm a veggie but anyone that has tried whatever I ordered said it competes with the standard meat option if not surpasses it. Respect. Best vibes with the music they play. Staff is friendly and quick to check on you and call your order out. Patio if you'd like to sit outside but it only holds a few groups. Inside is nice and airy with some taller community tables and lower two top or four to six top tables. Line moves quicker for drinks but the food is speedy for sure. Just made with love and attention. I've never had a meal look less than or sloppy. Attention to detail is top notch. Food can be fun and comforting and still kid ass. They also do some boozier options if that's your vibe. They run off Toast for their POS but are also on InKind which is a solid app. You can order on their website or via InKind. If you know, you KNOW. Busier Saturday and Sundays but that is to be expected. Mornings will get busy for nearby people but it's always worth popping in. Thanks for all you do crew!

There were a few available shortly around 9:15am Sunday when we arrived and a small line already as they open at 9am. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. One person came to get drink orders to help things move forward. They have a lot of food (vegan menu/option for many items) as well as non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. They had a small case of raccoon bakery pastries as well. The raspberry (fresh not the canned crap) pop tart was a delightful treat to eat while we waited for a take out order. The drip coffee is pour your own with simple syrup, cinnamon, oat milk and regular along with lids and sleeves. Very good I think a medium to dark roast. The pickled things were amazing. They were pickles and in a delicious brine. It is $6 and you get four cut into quarters. The chopped cheese was a great size and the optional sunny side egg made it feel brunch worthy. I'd get this again. There is a vegan option for this as well as most of their other selections. My wife tried the vegan boujee which comes on focaccia with tofu & just egg scramble, a herb vegan cheese spread, greens, muhammara (roasted red pepper and walnut spread) and za'atar. She found it had too many ingredients. While she liked the vegan aspect of it the sandwich was just too busy. My sister in-law chose the special which was fried chicken on a biscuit with egg, Tasso ham and gravy. She said it was good but very heavy without anything to cut through the fat. It is priced similarly to other restaurants which is a bit pricey. It does add up quickly so uncertain if I'll be back to Odie B's anytime soon.

It really gave me RVA (Richmond, VA circa early 2000s) nostalgia vibes like for places I worked in around Broadway during college! Wow. Love everything about this place. I'd been going to a lot of coffee shops lately where the style is all like new stuff and new style (which I LOVE) but the style of Tessa Delicatessen was so unexpectedly refreshing. I didn't realize that this part of Colfax was Park Hill! I saw a lot of other interesting places nearby. Can't wait to go back and wander! Not sure if it was the owner that greeted me at the register but she was very friendly and warm. I love the self serve coffee and water and you get to pick a unique mug to drink from. Really strong neighborhood vibe and I think she said it had been open since 2017. So cool! I'm obsessed with the spaciousness and space! My breakfast sandwich did explode all over my hand - so be careful! The egg is soft inside! I got coffee, cheesy hash and the breakfast sandwich. $25 for everything including tip. I think that's a great deal for a lovely morning vibe and breakfast in 2026!

We started with their traditional black eyed pea soup because good luck traditions matter. Shortly after, I "found" three dollars in my coat pocket. Was it already my change from the store? Yes. Did I still credit the soup? Also yes. From there, we leaned fully into deli mode. The cheeseburger was solid and satisfying, the Reuben hit all the right notes, and the macaroni salad was exactly what you want it to be. No frills, just done right. Dessert sealed the deal. The cheesecake was rich without being heavy, and the carrot cake was genuinely excellent. Tessa feels like one of those neighborhood spots you can come back to again and again. Comforting, straightforward, and very good at what they do. Fortune and prosperity aside, this place is worth a visit on its own.
