A pretty spacious place right off 16th Street with a nice variety of sandwiches. The Tuna sandwich was pretty good and had some cheese and avocado which were a nice addition. Lost of seating and I've noticed a few outlets for work or charging. I should try their breakfast options next. Stopped by for a sandwich to go recently after seeing some yummy looking photos on other Yelp reviews. The inside was big and clean. Decided to build my own sandwich. The team member who took my order was very friendly and helpful, he had a great attitude. I went back and forth on the type of bread to get and decided on "French Baguette" with gouda, turkey, yellow mustard and some toppings. When I got to my sandwich the bread was NOTHING like delicious, crispy chewy French baguette, it was literally a hoagie roll, which was so disappointing. If I'd have known that I would have chosen a different bread entirely. It was topped with Swiss instead of Gouda, which was fine, just not what I ordered. My sandwich was also completely swimming in mustard, so much so that it made a huge mess and I had to disassemble the sandwich to wipe some of it off. Overall this was a disappointment. I didn't have much time for lunch at my conference in Denver, so I ran out to grab a sandwich. I found a deli on the map, exited the building, turned the wrong way, a block down the road I saw another name from my search, Yampa Sandwich. I thought ok, it's fate and went inside. Lots of people were sitting on the bench awaiting their order. I took this as a good sign. Menu was very interesting. Unique combinations and riffs on the familiar. I narrowed my choices to two and approached the counter. The server was very helpful and friendly. I asked about my choices to see if he could break my deadlock. He told me I could get half sandwiches. I'm on a work trip, so a couple extra bucks was no big deal, so I got half of each. One was the Italian Beef and the other was the Grand. Service was prompt and accurate. Both were good and tasty. And we'll wrapped in coated butcher paper that holds the juices in. No vinegar or beef juices leaked out at all. Running out at lunch in business attire, this is something to appreciate. The Italian beef came with a side of really good au jus. Roast beef was good. Good sharp provolone. Spicy and tangy cherry pepper relish. Garlic mayo was good. All in all a very tasty sandwich, but was it an Italian beef? Not really. More French dip, but really tasty. We'll worth a try, but don't expect the Chicago classic. The Grand was delicious. A little on the salty side as you would expect from a sandwich with prosciutto, capocolla, dry salami, pepperoncini, that good garlic mayo, and veggies. Charcuterie was great. Spice was great. Veggies were good. It was well balanced and delicious. Prosciutto can be a little hard to bite cleanly, so don't be surprised if more than you bit pulls out as you withdraw. But it was really good. Better than you normally get in a sandwich here in the US. You definitely should give them a try. read more

Ok I am giving this review an extra star because we'll I ordered a breakfast burrito from a sandwich shop LOL! It was alright; I wanna say I was hungover and needed a trusty old BB to help me make it through the morning and this checked the boxes. I definitely liked that they put beans because I honestly feel like every burrito ever eaten by man should have beans and I don't know why so many breakfast burrito spots leave them out! I thought the potatoes were a bit large; we all know they're just filler anyways; I'm also a potato hater; I prefer even smaller ans crispier if they must be included. There were lots of people waiting, but hardly anyone in line. There were two bathrooms: one for men and one for men and women. Quite perplexing. I watched as the sandwich makers made their creations and as they threw trash at the trash can without making their mark. Only two veggie options on the pre made sandwich loaf - a warm one (the Sherpa, which I got) and a cold one. To start, my favorite thing was the bread. The roll was so good and chewy! The sandwich was decent but felt small, especially compared to how much they stuffed in my friend's turkey sandwich. Phenomenal sandwiches! We ordered the Ridgeline and Sherpa sandwiches and loved them both. First off, the bread and ingredients tasted like they were great quality - every component was flavorful, meshed well, and resulted in a great bite. The Sherpa was lighter, but the eggplant in it was well seasoned and crisp, and everything was highlighted by the light touches from the funky asiago and garlic mayo. Top option if you're a vegetarian but still want plenty of flavor! The Ridgeline had juicy turkey slices and crisp yet meaty bacon slices. It had a lot of very flavorful elements, but they all complemented each other well and were toasted together perfectly. I can see why this is a favorite sandwich! Finally, one of my favorite parts of the meal was the great pickle on the side - perfect crisp and really went well with everything. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Typically can only come here on the weekends, but it's always worth the bike ride over from Cheesman. Yampa serves breakfast sandwiches all day, the staff are very friendly and always get special requests right. I like a spicy kick to my sandwiches so the Italian sandwiches like The Godfather and Little Italy are my favorites. Most of the ingredients are locally sourced and the sodas are made with real cane sugar, and are a sweet treat every once in a while. Love coming here and I am glad they are expanding!! read more
