I didn't DoorDash Lucky Dynasty; I made the pilgrimage to the mouth of the beast to get the full experience. Lucky Dynasty sits just off the corner of Emanuel Cleaver and Troost, operating out of an old Wells Fargo - which is probably fitting, since the clientele seems more likely to overdraft an account than open a savings one. The menu itself feels like a jury of your peers: Catfish Fillets wedged between Fried Shrimp and General Tso's Chicken, daring you to question every life choice that led you there. I ordered the General Tso's, but unlike popping a Xanax at the airport, this meal did not magically transport me overseas. The sweet and tangy brown sauce was genuinely good; unfortunately, the chicken was chewy and ultimately disappointing. I might return to Lucky Dynasty out of sheer curiosity to try the Catfish Fillets, but I'd probably need to take a PTO day - or they'd need to wrap the bathroom in caution tape.

Best chicken fried rice in the city! My BF compares it to STL fried rice which if you're from STL I guess that's good!!! 5 stars.

Food was mediocre for the hour wait it takes to get it. We also had food missing when we left the drive through.

The fried rice was also delicious and a great portion size. One thing that really stood out was the amount of seating. They've done an excellent job keeping the old aesthetic while making it still look fresh and new. The restaurant was so cool but oddly not one other patron in the space. My partners second visit and her second time with a fairly empty restaurant. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's an excellent space but possibly more of a to go spot despite the beautiful restaurant space. The menu is fairly trim but has flavors of east Asia and south eastern Asia. So pho, Chinese and I believe they had some Thai. The food was very good, our egg roll was perfectly crispy and my entree Mongolian beef was delicious. Lots and lots of veggies which is a great surprise for Chinese dishes. I'll definitely be back to try the beef and broccoli soon!

There wasn't much of a wait for our food either. Now the food. I can't say the same. There was a kids menu but no kids juices so that was disappointing. I ordered the spicy beef fried rice, the beef did not taste fresh and gave my rice a weird taste. The vegetable fried rice was dry BUT had an enjoyable blend of vegetables. The vegetable Lo mein was not flavored BUT the vegetables were thoroughly cooked. The "Chinese" doughnuts were still a bit doughy inside BUT they were surprisingly still good and I'd say were my favorite for the night. Also to note, there wasn't any prices on the dine-in menu but included on the takeout menu which I thought was different because no one wants to be surprised with their bill. Overall, not a spot I'd be visiting again.

We tried this new place back when they opened in November, and they had a limited menu at the time. I tried all 3 of the Bao Buns, and they were awesome!! The pork belly rice bowl was a little underwhelming with flavor, but the portions were huge!! I got 2 whole meals out of the bowl. I can't wait to go back again and try now that they have a larger menu! The service was lightning quick. On a Thursday night, our order was ready in 10-15 mins! The employees were also so nice and polite inside when we picked up. The space is super clean, and I love that they have kiosks for ordering so you can spend some time browsing and not awkwardly have an employee watch you struggle to decide what to eat! It's a little small inside, but I think the point is to be mostly for takeout.
