A solid supermarket…read more Relatively snug grocery in the Midland beach area (across from the Fountain of Dolphins/Sand Lane) providing lots of produce and other common grocer goods (i.e. dairy products, eggs, meats, snacks, desserts, etc.). This store provides some produce that was a bit harder to find in the other supermarkets (i.e. Shoprite) such as daikon (white carrot), taro root, Napa cabbage, Bok Choy, and certain spices/seasonings (hot Jamaican curry). The store has parking lot which leads to another, inner parking lot (parking lot's also a bit snug too, but not bad). Some of the produce should be dumped/taken care of more often - one basket of taro roots had mold, while the other basket next to it was okay. Certain items, such as the Yogurts (Stonyfield), had a "best-by date" of December 31 2021, but was still being sold middle of January 2022. I actually (accidentally) bought one of those Yogurts and ate it. Nothing bad happened though, so it is what it is. Other than that, this store is pretty decent everything else considered.

They have a weekly circular and it does not state any limits on produce. When you get to the actual store front, there is a limitation. There was an avocado limit at one point. If you didn't purchase a certain amount, you could not buy the avocados at the sale price. But it's not written in every language and even the English was not understandable. This week is 3 for $2.00 oranges. But your only allowed 3. Doesn't mention it anywhere so if you even had an extra bag of oranges, they will take it back. I work in a school, and have done bulk orders for festive events. They gave us less than the amount ordered but were able to fix it. That situation was stressful only because it involved kids. And since it was a mistake of the store, they needed to cater to our timing for the event which they almost weren't able to. They did fix the problem but with much hassle. Overall, the store is decent. Workers are alright. Certain things could be better.
