This is our go to Chinese place. The food is consistent and delicious no matter what you order. Apparently there is a change in ownership, but it stayed in the family, so same great food. If you want some excellent, consistent, down and dirty Chinese, this is the place. And to be clear, this place is extremely clean. Our favorite is the steamed dumpling. Soft skin with tasty pork mixture. So good. Their egg rolls are also very consistent. Crispy and flavorful. Lucky Garden Restaurant is your typical no-frills Chinese takeout restaurant. It is located in a shopping plaza, so parking is not an issue. The food is your typical Chinese takeout food. Nothing either great nor terrible. Service was a bit lackluster, but hey, I was just grabbing some takeout and heading out the door. Sadly, finding good New York style Chinese takeout food here in Florida has been a definite challenge. I travel a lot for work and it is definitely a challenge finding good Chinese food. I measure the chinese food from one specific dish: sechuan chicken. If the restaurant makes it good, then it is likely that all other dishes are good too. The reason being the sauces used to cook the sechuan dish are a combination of several and you need to have the right amount. Lucky garden hit the sweet spot. I loved it. read more

Best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at that wasn't a sit down establishment. The food was so hot then it was delivered we could harder eat it. Thought it had to be a fluke the first time so ordered again a week later and it was the same delicious delivery piping hot as before. Highly recommend this place. Wow. I have gone to this place for years and don't know what's happened to the place. Quality and taste of foods have dropped a lot. But customer service definitely 100% NO Yesterday I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables. Key word here is chicken. I start to eat trying to find chicken and realize not a single piece. I call back and he drags me through a process. What time did I come how much exactly was it. I give him answers. He says no. No ticket for that. Wasn't here. Ugh I know where I went. Go back tonight. I ordered the happy family dinner with egg rolls and water. The food had an ample supply of broccoli, shrimp, pork, chicken, beef, and veggies which was enough to feed two people. The meal also came with a bowl of standard white rice supplied by any oriental restaurant. The egg roll was crunchy but also had zero taste to it The meal lacked and substantial taste that could've sent it over the top. Everything was fresh, but overall the dish was disappointing. I spoke to a couple of locals for a recommendation close to the highway, which was recommended as one of the best in town. Next time I'll stick to Yelp for my guidance and skip the locals. Service sucked, and I'm being polite. They also refused to supply extra utensils. I can't recommend or not recommend this place but this happy family didn't make this family happy The price for what I purchased I thought was extremely excessive and probably 30% higher than what it should be It's an good alternative to fast food read more

I actually really liked the food here and was a VERY regular customer despite it not being the best I've had, but bro, good lord. So I'd ordered on their site for delivery as I'd always done before. Out of nowhere, I don't have the option to pay with a card online as I've also always done before. Instead, there's the option to pay with card upon delivery so I picked that assuming it was some kind of simple error with their site and that the delivery guy would bring a mobile card reader or something. Just to make sure that everything was good, I went and double-checked the order information in case I'd done something wrong by accident. I found my order but it said it was for pickup. I thought well... okay but it's still showing the delivery fees plus tips for the driver which is damn near half the bill, so I'm not paying that if I'm going to be picking it up myself on a Friday night. So I give them a call at their listed number to ask what's going on and say "It's showing it for pick up and not delivery." I can tell the guy is busy and he starts saying "No delivery only pick up." We had a little back and forth and given the situation, I wasn't going to give him my card number over the phone for anything. I ended up agreeing to do the pick-up but knew I was going to have to fight with them over the delivery fees and the like over the order. After less than 3 minutes of deliberation with the other people I was with, we'd decided that a fight with some dude over a Chinese food order which we were going to be picking up ourselves while possibly paying for delivery wasn't a good way to spend a Friday night so I immediately called them back to cancel the order. Called the dude back and told him something along the lines of "hey sorry, but I'm going to cancel that order," and he responded with "aw fuck you." Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday through door dash. Was very surprised at how good the food was. The pork fried rice was delicious. Always grateful when I get an order of fried rice and it does not contain peas and carrots. I have never seen this in my life until moving here to Melbourne. Ordered the pork spare rib appetizer they were huge and meaty, the pork egg foo young which was crispy and excellent three giant patties and a big tub of gravy. My husband had the orange beef which was an enormous portion and it was absolutely delicious. Very impressed was not expecting it to be this good. Yesterday I thought I'd treat myself to some Chinese food but was busy here so opted for delivery. My favored Chinese restaurant does not deliver and none of the delivery services offer Chinese delivery to my area so I did an online search for one that did and found Lucky Garden on Malabar Road in Palm Bay. I placed the order around 4 o'clock for 5:30 delivery. 5:30 was plain as day on the receipt in very large font. The order showed up at 4:30! When I pointed that out to the driver all he said was "Oh." Strike one. The sweet and sour chicken was terrible. No green peppers or pineapple chunks. Just breaded chicken chunks ... 90% breading ... and some sweet sauce. Worst I ever had. Strike two. Wonton soup, lo mein and pork fried rice all completely flavorless. Strike three. The Bar-B-Q ribs were bone dry and guess what .... also completely devoid of flavor. If you look over my other reviews you will see I rarely give one star. But for a $30+ order I expected to get 2 meals out of it and enjoy them both. I ate a little and literally put the rest down the disposal. After many years of trying to like the food here... I have to say that I really don't. I want to like it so occasionally I go in the hopes that it has changed. It has changed, but for the worst. My friend and I ordered food here for pick up. When I picked up our food and brought it home and my friend opened up her food, she saw that it was an incorrect order. We called the restaurant and they told us to bring back the food. We asked them why but agreed. We left and forgot to bring the food. There was a man and a woman there who were going to give us the correct order but then saw we did not bring the other food back so were not going to give us the food that we ordered. We asked them why it mattered. They said the other customer was waiting on his food and they were going to give it to him. We told them they could not do that because it is unsanitary. They argued with us and even started yelling at us in their language. The woman had a temper tantrum. We told her we were going to report to the department of food and safety which we did. I would not recommend you eat here. You will have no idea where your food has been! Also, their customer service is absolutely terrible. After having to drive back there a second time to pick up an order that they got incorrect, they should have offered us something at least extra or free or refund but instead we received outrage. read more

I called the restaurant directly and ordered, my food was delivered hot and fresh. I'll tell you this place is amazing. I ordered delivery food for a sick cousin today. They weren't home and the driver returned to the restaurant with the food. I called my cousin and told her to pick it up at the restaurant. They went to the restaurant and the owner cooked fresh food for them. They ate the food and said it was amazing the best day I've ever had and it was a hidden secret they never knew about in the area. Because there was two of us and we paid separtly all the sudden our order was not worth as much even thou it was the same amount of food price wise. I have to say I think this is probably one of the best buffets I've been to. Moved here 3 months ago to FL and have been there about 6 times. They have a nice selection of food. From, Chinese, sushi bar, raw bar(dinner only) hibachi, fruit bar and ice cream. Dinner comes to about $17 per person, but because of the selection of food for dinner time, I can't complain about it. New girl did not enter our complete order in the computer so my daughter did not get her meal and my husband had to give his to her. When we called to ask them what happened we were told we never ordered it and that they would not deliver for only one item. They also never gave us a receipt. If all was cold I would think maybe the delivery driver but the rangoons were cold and the rice and boneless ribs were really hot which means it was either a packaging or cooking issue. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Do not bother eating here unless you would like wrong orders and incredibly inconsiderate service. We have ordered twice from here and received the incorrect order each time. This time, a meal was delivered that clearly had directions of NO VEGGIES, which was also confirmed over the phone. The meal was delivered with veggies. When we called to ask to have the order corrected we were told "Pick them off yourself, I'm not sending a new order". There is an allergy, which is why the order was placed with NO VEGGIES. Said it would take 45 minutes to get my food. 2 hours after I placed my order I called them and asked the status of our food, which was just some pork lo mein. They said they were on the way. 20 minutes later I call again and they said the same thing, mind you they are located only 10 minutes from my house. I order from this place often. Never had a problem till tonight. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce extra spicy. The sauce was like water and very sweet. No spice at all. I also ordered fried wontons. They were very over cooked. They were so hard you couldn't bite them. They messed up most of our order. When I called to tell them the man told me "oh sorry.
