This location is definitely an upgrade compared to their last location because parking is easier. The area is also nice to walk around. We came during lunch and it was busy. The menu is small because she takes the time to perfect each item. She was really passionate about the Khao soi because she finally perfected it. I just love her energy and you can tell this is someone who loves what she does and the food she makes has heart behind it. The food was tasty. The spice levels are misleading in my opinion (unless she misheard me). I ordered a medium and it was mild. I would've liked a little more kick so I'll order spicy next time. It might have been adjusted due to the demographics. But 10/10 would come again.

I came for late lunch on Saturday. Almost a full house, with only 1 table open. I spoke with Ploy. She recommended the Khao Soi, which egg noodles simmered in a yellow curry. She said it was made with 3 portions of coconut milk and the fat content was modified with cane sugar. Very flavorful, but not spicy. I opted for vegetables and tofu instead of chicken. I had her Thai Iced Tea. Great flavor and slightly sweet. She and one other sous chef are the only employees. A leisurely lunch. The floors were clean. I used the single restroom and it was clean.

Stopped in because we were in the area for kid sports and the other reviews convinced us to give it a try. WOW, they nailed it - everything was delicious. #1 - Khao Soi - Amazing, give it a try!! #2 - Wonton Noodle Soup - Delicious!! #3 - OMG Pad Thai - Traditional & Delicious Staff were very friendly and offered suggestions when we ask. They highly recommend the Khao Soi and now we understand why.. like nothing we have tried before and can't wait to come back. They told us the Wonton Soup has been simmering for 5 hours - it was outstanding and rich flavors. We leave reviews for our favorite restaurants so we can find them again, this is now in our top 10 of Denver restaurants.

A family owned Thai restaurant is such a great find on Broadway! I got the Pad Se Eaw and Red Curry dish! They were both fresh and delicious. The space is small, great for intimate lunch/dinners. The service was lovely. I was able to meet the owner and she was kind and gave great recommendations. I'd definitely come back again. There is a paid parking lot next to the restaurant. There is few street parking a few blocks down.

We were in the neighborhood and I've been dying to try Lucky Noodles. I never had a chance before they closed the Colfax location. So when we were in the area, I knew we had to stop in for a late lunch. You order at the counter. We got the Khao Soi with crispy chicken and chicken pad see ewe. And a side of rice and cucumbers for our little toddler. Food came out quickly. And with an active toddler, it's much appreciated! The food was delicious!!! My husband said it was definitely one of the better Thai restaurants we have been to lately. Khao Soi was super flavorful. And the crispy chicken was a nice touch. The pad see ewe is probably one of the best I've had at a Thai restaurant. Grandmas magic sauce is chefs kiss! My husband really liked it. And it wasn't too spicy. I got to talk to Ploy a little bit, my family is from Laos and she's from Thailand and there's a little bit of similarities in the language. It's always nice being able to communicate with others in their native language. I know a little bit of Thai. We will definitely be back. Fast, casual Thai food. Yes please!

The Khao Soi was phenomenal and so flavorful. Great service and cute interior with all of the bulldogs. I can't wait to come back to try more from here.

Had an amazing lunch here with my friends today! I ordered the fried chicken appetizer and hangover wonton soup for myself and both were so delicious and full of flavor. My Thai iced coffee was so good as well. My friend's khao soi was amazing and the heat level was perfect. We also loved both types of wontons to start! The service is super nice and friendly and quick. Would recommend this gem to anyone looking for some fabulous Thai dishes.

Pretty spacious modern Thai fusion vibe restaurant on Broadway. Delicious local traditional Thai and Thai fusion food on the menu. Their drinks are also amazing. We got Jalapeño crab cheese wonton, larb salad, kra pao, khao soi, og red curry, honey lemon soda, mango passionfruit green tea. Strongly recommend the jalapeño crab cheese wonton, honey lemon soda, larb salad, kra pao? And khao soi. Very friendly service. Highly recommend and will return.

Had an amazing authentic Thai dinner at Lucky Noodles. When we walked in, we were told the wait for food would be an hour because there were more than a dozen to-go orders. We didn't mind, and it was definitely worth the wait! Owner, "Ploy", let us know we should definitely have the Tom Yum Noodle soup or the OG Red Curry. My friend had visited Thailand several times before and said we should get the Tom Yum Noocle soup. We also opted to split the Jalapeño Crab Cheese wontons and OMG Pad Thai, a favorite dish of my son's. The wontons were unlike any I have had. Crisp triangular pillows filled with a sweet and spicy filling. These did not need a sauce. The Tom Yum Noodle soup was amazing. The five hour effort Ploy put into making this dish was evident in the flavorful spicy and sour broth that soaked the rice noodles and chicken. Delicious! The OMG Pad Thai was just that - oh my goodness where have you been all my life?! This busy yet quaint restaurant on east Colfax will not be there for long. Even though business is booming, Ploy is looking to move to a new location within the next three weeks. As with many restaurants, increasing rent prices are preventing business owners from making a living. Hurry in before it's too late and support Lucky Noodles. This gem makes top lists again and again, and it would be a shame to miss it.

This is definitely the best Thai food I've had in Denver and one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. My husband and I shared: - Pork Roti - Curry Puff - OMG Pad Thai - Khao Soi - Gummy Bear Drink - Passion Fruit Mojito Everything we had was fantastic. I'd love to try the whole menu. Of everything, the Khao Soi was my favorite. This is my favorite Thai dish and this is probably the best version of it I've had. The Pork Roti is a must as well. I loved the variety of non-alcoholic drinks they have as well. If you haven't been, you need to try this spot. The owner was so nice and friendly. It's a small place, but we had no issue getting a table early on a Friday.

This place never misses. Thai food is my favorite, but Denver has limited options. Enter Lucky Noodles. I've been in 3 times for dinner. You can tell the love Ploy has for the place - it comes through in the food! I love the red curry and tom yum. Note that the Tom yum has noodles in it, so it's more like an entree - so good! They also serve fun tea drinks. Can't wait to try Lucky during lunch one day so I can have a Thai tea. read more

Oh my goodness. Just stepping into this place was like walking into a cute boutique. The food is spot on!!! I was reminded of the exact taste I've been craving after having lived abroad in South East Asia and traveling all over. If you're into the true flavors, ask for the extra extra extraaaa spicy when ordering!! And that roti appetizer - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I feel so bad for forgetting her name but the owner - she is spectacular. Khob khun ka!! read more

Where to begin with Lucky Noodle.... their food is outstanding!! Having been with an Asian man for 5 years, being Asian mixed myself, I have acquired higher tastes or standards for various styles of Asian dishes (I am being general on purpose) anyway, they crush it with bursting flavors that are spicy, even if it doesn't look spicy, like one of their soups, it is, they're flavorful, little tang, little sour, little sweet.... doesn't matter... Lucky Noodle does an outstanding job! Get this... they actually put crab in their wontons.... whatta concept! They make egg rolls and spring rolls fresh to order. The fried chicken is simple hit HOT DAMN!!! It's crunchy, not overly breaded, NOT greasy or salt - gross- the meat is moist and hot... ugh I am drooling!!! The pad Thai.... ya OMG OMFG is right! BOMB AF! Their menu is passed down and some with new inspirations too. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Oh and to make it even better....Their customer service is how it should be THEN SOME!! They go above and beyond to make sure you're happy, love the food and are enjoying yourself... even, even during covid. They give a F! I'm shocked some restaurants during trying times fail at customer service.... blows my mind.... while the owner and her team are A+++ rock stars!!! This is a hidden gem, in denver, which I hope this genuine heart felt review helps them. They deserve it. Ps- do you love dogs? The owner she adores her 3 dogs! This is the MOST delicious Thai restaurant in denver. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this place, it's definitely going to become a staple in the neighborhood for me. The owner is also such a sweetheart. Came in and the feel of the place is amazing. Beautiful lively plants, Great service, nice people, good drinks, they gave us a magnet with a QR code of the menu so we could order on Doordash, and Amazing food. Definitely would eat here again and recommend it to others. read more

Absolutely delightful host/waiter and delicious food. Amazing coffee based drinks, lemon/limeaids and wide selection of teas. The noodles and rice dishes are amazing. The street rice was my favorite totally comfort food. The space is small but adorable and comfortable, and street parking was easy to find. Ask for the key if you need the restroom, as it's just for customers. read more

Food is amazing with great customer service. Please call in your order ahead. Everything is made fresh and not pre cooked so you may have to wait if you order there. The food was all so good. I can not wait to go back. Highly recommend the curry and pad thai. I live 2 blocks away and will be back weekly. read more

Was very excited after reading all these great reviews. We ordered pad see ew, basil chicken, and pineapple fried rice. The pad see ew was totally lackluster- no flavor to the noodles and they were just kinda slimy. Gross. The fried rice and basil chicken were very good though. I didn't see anyone else mention it here but everything is served with plastic utensils and paper plates!!! What the hell? Sooooooo wasteful and for that reason I won't be back. You absolutely must do better by the world. There is no excuse for this! My husbands fork broke in the food and we didn't get knives, making it so hard to eat our meal. We won't be back. read more

Had the best experience with Lucky Noodles before we even picked up our food! After I placed our online order, an absolute angel of a woman called me immediately to clarify something in my order. She then told me the personalized touches she was going to add to our food. Our food was fantastic but what really stood out to me was the tenderness of the chicken in the red curry. Awesome menu selection with delicious teas and other drinks. Definitely recommend trying the Thai Tea and Ploy's Limeade Tea for a nice refreshing summer drink. The Crab Cheese Wontons were perfectly fried, warm and crispy and served with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. Great priced entree options and portions. Could definitely split with someone else for lunch. They have an awesome outside seating area which is super nice for some fresh air and great food. The inside area when it opens, is well decorated and very homey feeling. The owner makes this place very inviting and all around an excellent experience. 10/10 read more

Food was amazing! Small intentional menu. Friendly service, unbelievably tasty red curry and noodle soup. My mouth is watering! Tasty coconut ice cream and sponge cake, as well as Thai tea and green tea. Very relaxing decor...felt like we were in Thailand! Only thing we'd improve is getting a wheelchair accessible entry (my friend had to bump my chair up the stair). Other than that, one of my new favorite Thai places in town! read more

I just tried this place for the first time, it was sincerely delicious. The owner (I am assuming) was incredibly friendly and bright. She made me excited to eat there from the moment I walked in the door. A drink I would highly recommend trying is the Ploys Lime Tea, it was the best drink I have ever had honestly. Their sauces were very obviously all homemade. I will be giving them my business again, because of their delicious food and their incredible customer service. Thank you! read more

I usually order Khao Soy because it never misses, but since they don't have it (yet; it's coming in a month !) I tried the chicken noodle soup. I was doubtful because outside of Tom Kha, I've never really liked any Thai soups I've had in U.S. restaurants. But the chicken noodle soup was great, it had a deep flavor to it from spices in a light broth. Flavorful and filling, with perfectly cooked rice noodles. Will definitely be ordering again from this place, and even dining in when I'm not too bothered to leave the house. The interior is gorgeous, tons of plants and cozy atmosphere, and service is exceptional. This place takes a lot of pride in their food and their service. It's clearly a beloved place based in how many people came in at lunchtime on a random Wednesday, but I Hope they blow up even more. read more

This restaurant is doing takeout only. I had the Red curry and it was probably one of the better Thai curries I've had. They give you a lot of curry for the rice as well. The Thai Iced tea was also super sweet. Can't wait to go back and try some more of the dishes. read more

I saw a post about Lucky Noodles on Instagram and it looked amazing, so I had to give it a try! I didn't realize that they just opened a few days ago for business. It was well worth a visit, the food was SO delicious! We talked to the owner for a while and she told us about how all of the recipes are from her family in Thailand, so they're very authentic and super yummy! I would highly recommend visiting. Right now they are having you order at the counter and then you can eat on the patio, but their inside set up is super cute for when COVID is over! Worth a visit! read more

Just ordered the OMG Pad Thai and the Green Curry, both with chicken. They were both SO good! We will definitely be back. However, it seemed like we got lunch-sized portions for dinner prices which was a let down, but otherwise, no complaints and we will order again, but order more food and more rice for the curry. read more

Awful dry mess. Tried pad thai and pineapple fried rice along with the wings. Pad thai was an overcooked congealed mess. Fried rice was so dry it was like a desert. Wings were an overcooked dried out mess. More then a disappointment!! read more

Tried Lucky Noodles tonight on a whim. I feel like it's my duty to eat out every other day or so to support our local restaurants. In this case, I'm glad we tried something new. The husband went to pick up our to go order and told me how friendly the lady was behind the counter. Asked if he'd been in before. He said no. She thanked him for coming in and threw in two egg rolls on the house (which were perfectly crispy and delicious - even after a car ride home)! Thank you. I ordered the Pad Thai. It was yummy. Simple, not overly seasoned, and perfectly spicy for my medium heat order. I was able to make three meals out of this! Hubs got the Green Curry and said it was really good and he would order again. Not a curry fan myself so I'm just able to relay what he told me! We will be back - for the great customer service AND for the food! Thank you! read more

In 2005 Ploy made the journey from her home in Bangkok to her new home in Colorado. After being away from the only life she knew, she became home sick and began to miss her grandmother's authentic and delicious food. This longing gave Ploy the passion and the drive to open Lucky Noodles and to share just a small piece of our culture through authentic Thai cuisine with you. We only use the best fresh ingredients and we hand pick everything. Food tantalizes all of our senses and can hold some wonderful memories. My typical go to is on of the salad. Now salads typically are not standout at most restaurants, but the ones at Kawa Ni just hits different. Both the red cabbage and pear salad and the brocolli salad are delicious and the portion is massive, easily enough for a table of 4 to share. For apps and shareable entrees, you can't go wrong here. The build your own tuna temaki hand rolls can easily be shared and the tuna is so fresh and well seasoned. The szechuan dumplings are delicious, as is the curry onigiri and the bao bun. The Dan Dan noodle, kimchi Carbonara, and their tonkotsu ramen are also amazing, and, with the exception of the tonkotsu ramen, can easily be shared. I would highly recommend other seasonal dishes as well, such as the coconut swordfish or chicken katsu parm. However, one of my absolute favorite dish here is the ochazuke. It's basically grilled fish over rice in a warm green tea dashi. It's so comforting, especially on a cold night, and a dish that I return to time and time again. Overall, Kawa Ni is an amazing japanese restaurant. Come for the food and just make sure you get a sake bomb and ask for the gong when you do.

That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Tonight, we sat at the bar and watched the magic happen. These guys are cranking out amazing and delectable treats you won't forget. The Uncle salad was a great starter with charred cabbage, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, arugula, and peanuts lightly coated in a Thai coconut dressing. A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. The cold spicy sesame noodles with seasoned chicken, granny Smith apple slivers, arugula, cashews and nanami togorashi, a perfect closing dish for an exceptional meal. The service, food quality, flavors and preformance from the bar seats were second to none. The concept, portion size, flavor and cost were a real treat in the big city food scene of Denver. If you haven't been here yet, get to the internet and book a table, I promise you won't regret it. I loved this place. The absolute nicest people and great food. Friend chicken, basil chicken, roti are my favorites. Then they closed for a while and came back. Upon return the portions are MUCH smaller and more expensive. I thought once was perhaps an aberration or off night, so I tried a second time and unfortunately it seems they made changes that really make this place not make sense for me, personally. The portions are just too tiny for $16. Totally get inflation and all that, but this is excessive and can tell I'm not alone in this thought by other reviews. Also their website menu is a smaller subset of what they actually offer. Not sure why they do this, but you can also order basil chicken and few other things that are amazing.
