I'm always on the hunt for a good Chinese take out restaurant near the house. It's not very often but every once in awhile I'll crave the hell out of crab rangoons and those spare ribs that you can always find at these kinds of restaurants. While 5 full size spare ribs are consider an appetizer is beyond me, but it's always a must get. And Lucky Panda does theirs very well. I've been here a few times and I will say the best things are their appetizers, which amazingly still stay crunchy and warm on the drive back home. The spare ribs were great, perfectly sweet and sticky from the sauce and meat that is surprisingly tender. The crab rangoons and fried spring rolls are always delicious as well. As far as main entrees go, it's usually hit or miss. I made the mistake of ordering mapo tofu even though I knew it was not going to have that authentic taste. I've also ordered the walnut shrimp and honestly did not like it because it just straight up tasted like warm mayonnaise and soggy shrimp. The decent items were the broccoli and beef, chicken and vegetables and the Singapore mei fun. I would stick to the basics here. read more

For $6.75 during lunch time, you can't beat the portion size! The meal hit every spot for me whenever I crave Chinese-American food and I'm so glad my coworkers introduced it to me! I got the L1 (I believe it's the Lo Mein) and it comes with an egg roll, choice of rice (white or fried), and choice of soup (egg drop, hot and sour, wonton). The egg roll and Lo Mein I definitely enjoyed. Aside from that, I wish their wonton soup was richer as it just tasted like water + chicken bouillon was 2 skimpy wontons, and their rice was very bland (even though I ordered the fried rice). Otherwise, for the value of it all, I'm pretty content! Also, if you order over the phone, make sure you have them confirm your order! We ordered for 4 people this past week and they messed up on my order (I ordered shrimp and got chicken instead - no biggie since I didn't pay extra for it but you still want what you paid for!). read more

This is a sit down restaurant, I actually had to get a menu and after the waitress brought me my soup I had to get utensils and napkins . I was the only person in the restaurant. The Food . Egg drop soup bland , Crisps served were stale. I ordered chicken chow mein and requested smaller pieces , due to the previous time that I had big chunks of chicken . The size of the chicken was the size of raisins and the amount was so small that I wondered if I ordered chicken chow mein . The fried rice tasted tough with absolutely no flavor . The server was nice enough to bring me steamed rice . She also comped my meal but charged me for the soup and hot tea . Which was acceptable. The egg roll seemed like it was not fresh and over fried The house hot mustard was very good and I enjoyed the hot tea . This restaurant was just okay. The food was just okay. We ate inside and the bathrooms were gross. The drinks were not carbonated or tasted flat. The house fried rice was great! The sweet and sour chicken was just dough. Soup was hot, but the fried wontons to put in the soup were stale. I wouldn't recommend this place for a big meal, but for a cheap lunch, it's okay. Was craving Lo Mein and wanted to try a new place. The peking chicken was different than i was expecting. but very good. the orange chicken was great. it was ordered "light" on heat (spice). and the kids meal was ordered with fried rice but they substituted white when they ran out of fried. It was the end of the night and im not going to make a stink about them making a whole batch of rice just for a kids meal. My three year old preferred to dip her chicken in the sauce so i was glad it came on the side. I guess they know kids can be picky. I appreciated that. We all shared and tried everything. And the portions were quite large. there are definitely leftovers. The broccoli was fresh and perfectly cooked. it was soft through but held its shape and wasnt over cooked or droopy. The fried biscuits were so fluffy and delicious. Our order was for delivery. We live across town from the restaurant. Considering our food was made fresh and to order and we are a distance. im fine with the 50min wait for my food to arrive via delivery. It traveled well. Was tightly packed. Neat and secure. Came with forks and sauce packets. not gonna lie i was a bit sad there were no chop sticks or fortune cookies. we placed online order through website. transaction was smooth. If it's delicious, quality Chinese food you seek then look no further than Lucky Panda. After coming here for several years, I have never been disappointed. The portions are large and they don't skimp on the proteins, especially in the fried rice and noodle entrees. Even the side order of fried rice includes plenty of veggies, which a lot of other places don't provide. They really give you quite a bit of food for the price. I always get take out orders which are hot and ready to go in about 20-25 minutes, so I can't speak for the delivery service. read more

Sorry but I found the whole meal tasteless. Delivery took 45 minutes and I'm only 2 miles away. Wonton soup was yellow. Def made with boullion not real stock. Noodles were bland. Eggroll was Just okay. Fried rice was light yellow color with mostly uncooked onions and broccoli. Szechuan chicken had an odd taste profile. Wonton chips weren't crispy but def greasy. No fortune cookie. No chopsticks. Unfortunate buy. I'll keep looking for the right place. read more

I ordered online and ordered chow mein, thinking it was noodles, well it isn't here! however since they knew I wanted noodles they quickly whipped up the chicken lo mein for us! We will be back! We were hopeful this place would live up to its 4 star rating but we were very disappointed. The wonton soup was lousy and the fried rice was terrible. The General Tso's chicken had good flavor (sauce) and texture (crunchy) but there was just way too much filler and very little actual chicken. On the bright side, they have excellent fortune cookies. I rarely get Chinese food anymore and decided to place a delivery order and it was so worth it! Huge portions and very flavorful food. I stop in for lunch and am becoming a regular. Not too crowded for lunch though there is a lot of take out. Food is always good. I've had many items from the lunch menu and never been let down. From crispy orange chicken to perfectly cooked veggies and steamed rice to perfection, you can count on consistently good food here. The service is good as well. Seems like a husband/wife team. This restaurant has quite the warm, cozy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and cooperated well regarding the Covid-19 health guidelines. The food was amazing. Found this place on Yelp, a hole in the wall, but figured we'd try it. Lived here over 20 years and have yet to find a really good Chinese restaurant. I was pleased to find this one. Food was very good! We ordered the spicy shrimp with fried rice and chicken with vegetables and brown rice. The shrimp was actually spicy with a great flavor! The chicken with vegetables had a nice blend of veggies and the sauce was good. We will be back. We will tell our friends and we'll bring our family here. Food was excellent and priced reasonably. It's been too long since I've last eaten here and honestly I probably should have written this review a while ago. The best thing about the lucky panda is it's menu. I cannot tell you how many times I've eaten here and I haven't even conquered half of the menu. The number of choices they have is almost too many. The lucky panda always seems to have the perfect dish for what I'm wanting though. The quality of items on said menu varies, but overall I'd say my experiences have largely been positive. My favorites are the chicken Lo mein, general tsu's chicken and the walnut chicken (which I have odd cravings for from time to time). read more

I love any place that have humans that act like humans work there. This place has great customer service. I went to pick up my Togo order and wanted to add crab rangoons. I asked how many came in the order (which is 8 and way too many for me) a half portion was not in the menu but they happily discounted the full portion and served me a half.
