When you first enter, I was thinking from the worn exterior that this might be a very sketchy place. However, it severely surprised me. First of, there are so many non vegetarian options it is impossible to not find one for you. The amount of juicy meats, different tops of meat, the different styles and ways they are prepared. The hibachi station is where they had fresh sushi that was very good. The staff are also friendly and courteous. However, there were a few negatives. The floor of the buffet is slippery in a few places. The way that raw chicken is stored at hibachi concerns me greatly as leaving it open is practically inviting salmonella. Also, the deserts. This isn't too bad of a spot by Chinese buffet standards. It fills up quick and the fast service here keeps the food hot and fresh. We came on a weekend. The peel-and-eat shrimp stood out as did the garlic green beans. I had to get the requisite brown fried foods that you come here to scratch the itch for: dumplings, rolls, fried stuff. Not bad. The spring rolls were mushy inside which is always a turn off but the egg rolls were better. The dumplings tasted great and had that nice crisp side. The stir fry station is where it's at but I had this towards the end and was already feeling full by the time it was ready. The flavor was good and it had been expertly done. The ambiance here is nice and the place was clean. Luckily I rarely get the urge for Chinese buffet but I would come back if the urge struck. read more

One of the WORST Chinese buffets I've ever been to. There's little to no options despite a sign out front promoting "over 200 items" . The place smells SO BAD. Like mildew. Almost as if the soiled carpets were once wet and left to "dry". The curtains look disgusting and I didnt even want to sit by them. The service was okay, we didnt get any refills but she did clear the table from any dirty plates that were left. Everything that they DID have available on the buffet was extremely bland. Just took a trip to the regal buffet. I ate fried shrimp and crab, food was well cooked but didn't burn your tounge. Wait staff was quick and efficient, got me drinks on time. Unlike other restaurants, this place does not blast music far too load. Tables give plenty of space and the overall cost was literally less then Subway. 5/5 stars. I've passed this restaurant a thousand times while on the service road. I had to go to a retailer next door to Regal Buffet and decided it was time to stop in. I expected the place to be kinda worn and even more apprehensive about the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon entry and again after I was shown to my seat. The greeters and the waitress were pleasant. I washed my hands and the bathroom was neat and clean. The big surprise was the place is vast inside and there was no way I could traverse so many food offerings. All the food looked fresh and smelled delicious. I had to channel my focus to get started. I made two "growing boy" rounds of everything from wings, ribs, two kinds of broccoli, baked fish, shrimp pasta, salad and more! EVERYTHING was fresh and seasoned just "down the middle" so as not to put off the majority. The waitress was attentive. The atmosphere was lively but not noisy, with a huge cross section of the demographic. I give Regal Buffet a strong B+ for the location, ambiance, cleanliness and the awesome food!!! read more

Super conservative with Covid. Masks, gloves on when you go get food. Sushi was ok and the Mongolian grill was tasty good! Lots of selection for the price! I really used to love to go there because of the variety and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The customer service and the price was pretty decent. The past several times that I've gone the food is bland or they just taste mass produced like the sesame chicken, the orange chicken, for example, they just kind of taste like each other. The hot and sour soup is bland, not near as good as Joy Chinese cuisine in flower mound/ Highland village. Had lunch here yesterday. Nice and good location, traffic along the route is great. This place is busy on a Wednesday lunch hour. Nice and wide front entrance. Over five different sections of food stations plus a Hibachi station. Food is serve freshly cooked. I tried their Hibachi station and had a plate of shrimp, beef, chicken, eggs, veggies and egg noodle. It was well cooked but tasted bland. The Hibachi in training cook forgot to put soy sauce and condiments to my order. Lots of parking spaces. Serving staff are helpful and speak fluent English. Clean separate Men and Women's bathroom. Was perfectly happy with this buffet! Had never been before, but wanted to check it out. The staff was nice and prompt. The food was set out like normal, but they ask you to wear a mask when serving yourself, as well as use gloves and/or hand sanitizer before and after each refill. I've driven past several times, and my family finally tried it out last night. We loved it! I would go back for the Mongolian grill by itself. Other favorites were the coconut shrimp and the dumplings/potstickers. I wish there was a dipping sauce for the dumplings and egg rolls. My husband said the sushi was good not great- worth it to get it since it is there but wouldn't bring him back on its own. My daughter liked the chicken on a stick. They do have extra dishes for nights and weekends, so it's not just the same thing but priced differently, but if you don't care for seafood or ribs, then going there between Monday and Friday before 3pm would save you a few bucks (Friday after 3pm counts as the weekend). If you enter just before 3, they charge you lunch price, but you can't eat any of the dinner dishes, otherwise they'll charge you dinner price (they can tell 'cause the dinner dishes all have shells/bones), and they do have a sticker telling you which is for dinner only. Seniors and kids have discounts. Definitely one of the more tasting Chinese buffets out there. Their chicken dishes are all pretty good, and the chicken on a stick is one of my favorites. I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes their sweet melons taste off. All in all, still a pretty good buffet place. Does get pretty busy on holidays too. read more

Its $13.99 for dinner on weekdays Includes a Mongolian grill where you can choose your own raw protein and veggies and a sauce and its all cooked for you. Make sure you get the right number. Gloves are given to all attendees and its necessary so that food doesnt get slapped on your bare hand by accident. Its also hygenic Sushi is hit or miss, its not amazing but it does have more than 6-8 varieties its more than some larger competitive buffets Their prime rib is overcooked. Recommend not to try. Also their Ribs are also overcooked and tough meat. They put some sauce on it which blocks out the meat flavor. But thats expected as its an Asian buffet and non Asian food isnt expected to be great. Their Asian food is better, we tried the baked fish with cheese, fried spring rolls and their hot and sour soup is great. They also have mussels and peel and eat shrimp and cooked shrimp. Lo Mein, plain and fried rice staples are great. Dessert is tiramisu pieces, jello and choice of fruits. Overall this buffet gives better value and choice here than other buffets. read more

The food was good, however if your main item for the night (crab legs) is what brings in customers you should make sure that item is out to eat at ALL times. People were lined up at the buffet waiting about 10-15mins just for someone to bring out a small bowl of crab legs. And once it was brought people piled up their plates just to make sure they wouldn't have to wait again. After about 2 people picking them up there just about nothing left. They need to insert a longer pan & keep it stocked. For a person who loves seafood, I was definitely disappointed in the replenishing actions. Sushi wasn't hard, foods were not sour, and all had decent seasoning to them. Loved the crab ragoons, hot tea, and plentiful sushi selection. Chicken dishes tasted like plastic, though. I've eaten here on a few occasions and at times the food has been pretty good, and other times, not so much. During my most recent visit nothing seemed particularly fresh (e.g. a lot of the seafood had an overly fishy taste and the spring rolls were dry and chewy) even though the staff was refilling and topping up food the entire time. Ok, first this is a huge buffet but there are a few things you need to know- 1. The main seasoning is SUGAR. Literally everything is sweet, very little is savory. 2. There are a LOT of fried foods here and, 3. There are few vegetables in the cooked section- broccoli, onions, green beans, and a few green peppers. Food variety is rich, both kids and adults could find things they like. We went with a group of Asian, Western, Latino, everyone could find dishes that appealing. Most dishes are freshly cooked especially the Mongolia bbq was done onsite. Just hoped the two dish I really like could be better - the crawl fish and the fried shrimp both tasted old, and you can see how little the flesh shrank inside of the shell.
