Unfortunately, this location didn't hit the mark for me. The pizza seemed like it may have been sitting out too long, and it didn't sit well with my stomach afterward. That was disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to the meal. On a positive note, the service was great -- definitely 5-star in terms of friendliness and effort. Grabbed a cheese slice as a 1st timer and it was really good. A solid pizza taste, good crust, and the cheese was quality. The inside dining atmosphere was what you would expect as was the counter service. Felt like I walked off a NYC Street to get a slice. Good stuff and they offer daily specials and coupons. What a great family owned place. I've only been here twice while I get Oil Changes across the parking lot. First time got a Sicilian style pizza to go which was amazing. Today, I was going to get a couple slices but opted for a meatball sub instead. The owners are in Albania for a few weeks and they got their Grandparents out of retirement to watch the place. What an amazing couple, food was great, you could see his skills having made pizzas for 40 years, his wife and I chatted and I learned everything about their family. The grand daughter came in with her adorable 2 year old and even thoughI was eating by myself, I felt like I was eating with family. What a great spot!! read more

I have been visiting this place for the past 15 years, this will be my last time. I ordered xl one topping pizza with 20 wings and a steak and cheese sub. The wings were burnt dry and salty as heck. The steak and cheese sub was so dry I almost choked on it and had to throw it away. The cheese was so burnt it was black. You have to be kidding me to look at this food and feel ok about selling it. Pizza was also salty and just ok. What a shame. They are off the list. read more

Lucky's Pizza brought me back to my childhood in Brooklyn, NY. I loved going back; their pizza was always great. UNTIL -- we always ordered a half cheese half pepperoni and sausage pizza. What he brought us was a half pepperoni and half sausage pizza. We told him that this isn't what we wanted. All he did was give us a look as if saying what do you want me to do? He just huffed, said nothing and said this is what I got; take it or leave it. No offer to correct his mistake, no reference to making it right in any way shape or form. What a great find in the far Northwest valley! A no-frills pizza joint with really tasty pizza and wings. $15 gets you two giant slices of pizza with two toppings, six wings and a soda. I over ordered as the slices were too much to eat both. Of course, happy to have a leftover slice for later. The pizza and wings were hot and fresh, and served quickly. I stopped in and bought a medium pizza after returning some stuff at the UPS store. I didn't have much in the way of expectations, I saw they were people coming to pick up pizza but there wasn't anybody actually eating in there. It's Sunday afternoon so maybe that's it. Anyways I ordered a pepperoni Mushroom extra pepperoni extra cheese, medium pizza. It came out to about $25 including tax. On my way home since I was alone, I stopped by my neighbors and said hey I just bought a pizza. Do you want to help me eat it? I said no guarantees cause I never been to this place. The three of us all really enjoyed the pizza. Now I asked for extra pepperoni extra cheese, and I'm sure that was included in the prize, but it struck me as only being average. There wasn't a ton of pepperoni nor was there a ton of cheese. But the overall flavor was really good. It was New York style, at least the one I chose was the crust was really good. Great service! The pizza had great flavor. There was an abundance of cheese, so that's a plus! The first slice was great. The second slice, however, got so soggy and chewy. This is a common issue for me, and could be a personal preference, but I just like it to stay crunchy (or at least solid) and not mushy. We also got wings. This was the reason for the 3 stars. No sauce! Like see through-no-flavor sauce. Waaaa! Told my babe to bring them home so we could sauce em up. Maybe the sauces are just watery at this location? read more

We've eaten at Lucky's on many occasions, and we'll be going there many more, I'm certain. We've done takeout for large and small groups. We've eaten in with large and small groups, and everyone has enjoyed the food and the attention to detail we get from John and the others who work there. I try my best to follow a low carb diet, so I mainly have the antipasto salid and wings. During Lent, John was happy to replace the meat in my antipasto salad with anchovies! Yes, I'm one of those strange people that loves anchovies! I have cheated and had a slice or two of their great pizza, so I can comment on that first hand, as well. we ordered a large pizza with white sauce. pepperoni & mushrooms on all of it and black olives on half. they gave us a white pizza with all the toppings on one half. when I called to complain, first I couldn't understand anything of what the guy was saying, he was quite rude about the situation. There is something very unique that makes New York pizza, special. The bread is so airy and fluffy, the mozzarella has the right balance of salt and creaminess. The red sauce has just a right hint of sweetness. That's what this is. This is the best pizza my wife and I have had since coming back from NYC. But it isn't just the pizza. This place is family owned and operated, which is a plus for our family! We strive to support locally owned and operated, unfortunately it's not always possible. BUT, Lucky's is by far a locally owned place to support. First, customer service is beyond amazing! They downloaded the Disney App close to closing time for our 9 year old girls (they went and asked). Second, THE WINGS!! You're not getting the game hen wings, they are meaty and made to perfection, not drowning in sauce to make up for a lack of flavor! Sure, there is sauce and plenty of it, but not in order to cover up the sliminess of some wings! Third, the pizza!! It's a fold kind of deliciousness! My mouth is watering just thinking of it! Our family of 4 can eat for 60$ including tip and an ice cold pitcher of beer, with leftovers! We ordered for pick up and I (unknowingly) made an error. I called to get them to fix it (thinking it was their error) and they were immediately helpful offering to make the pizza I thought I ordered. I realized I made the mistake rather quickly and had no issue paying for the food that they offered to quickly make for us but they wouldn't let us pay. On top of that, the food was all so good!
