I stopped by for the first time on Tuesday for my son he wanted some pasta and saw this place was actually pretty close to me! The service was great! The employees were quick and attentive. This place is not a sit down place, it is more to-go vibes, pick the goods up and take home typa deal. The place was clean and smelt good inside. The food was also pretty good, my son loved it! He got their version of chicken Alfredo kids meal and it comes with a salad and he also got a chocolate chip cookie. His Alfredo also came with garlic bread. The amount of food he gets was honestly a good amount for the price. He liked it and told me he would go again. I'll probably try it out next time!

    Classic Lasagna.

First of all, this is NOT a Spaghetti by the Bucket type of place. Yes, they serve pasta, but it isn't a low quality ingredient fast food restaurant. This is a family owned restaurant where the ingredients as well as the care in which they craft their dishes is top notch. The interior of the restaurant is very clean, modern and inviting. As some others have mentioned, there is no seating available in the restaurant for those getting out of the office for their lunch break. I had the Classic Lasagna that came with a bread stick. The breadstick is from a fresh loaf of bread and isn't fast food style. Very good. The lasagna is everything i want when ordering it. Nicely melted mozzarella on top of an amazing beef and pork ragu accompanied by a ricotta and stacked high. The portion was a perfect size. I will add this restaurant to my normal rotation and look forward to seeing them grow.

Tried the chicken parmigiana. The chicken patty was larger than expected but overall there wasn't any seasoning. Very bland. Service was good. Figured I would give them another chance, again lacked flavor and to top it off I wasn't expecting everything I wanted to add to the salad I was ordering became a micro transaction per ingredient. That was a first and also the last time. Thanks but no thanks.

While on the hunt for a casual lunch spot, I stumbled across Pasta Love, a relatively new take-and-go pasta concept that's been earning rave reviews on Yelp. Intrigued by the promise of fresh pasta and vibrant salads, I decided to give it a try and while there were definite highlights, a few things left me wishing for a bit more. First, a heads up: there is no indoor dining. I didn't realize this beforehand, so excuse the food pics taken from the comfort of my car. That said, the setup is designed for convenience, and their lunch special caught my eye: Buy a BYO or specialty pasta and get a side salad and mini cookie for free (available 11am-3pm) which is a great value for a midday meal. I opted for the Caesar salad, and it was easily the best part of my meal. Crisp greens and a phenomenal house-made dressing, creamy, tangy, and well balanced. For my pasta, I chose the spinach and ricotta ravioli, which was decent, the pasta was fresh and cooked nicely, but the filling and sauce didn't leave a lasting impression. It was tasty, just not particularly memorable. The meal also came with garlic bread and a mini cookie. Unfortunately, the garlic bread was a letdown: hard and lacking in flavor and the cookie, while a cute addition, was just okay. Overall, Pasta Love shows promise, especially for those seeking quick, fresh pasta on the go. The quality is there, and I'd definitely return to try some of their other pasta combinations or even build my own. But I do hope they consider expanding into a dine-in space in the future, because food this fresh deserves to be enjoyed somewhere more comfortable than the front seat of a car.

    Vegetable Marinara Penne Special

I have been feeling pasta lately and saw this place makes their own pasta but is more like fast casual so I wanted to try it! My husband got rigatoni with cheese sauce and I got the vegetable penne special. We also got the breadsticks with the lemon cream sauce to dip. Was surprised to see that they weren't breadsticks at all but pieces of garlic bread. Not complaining cause it was good, just not what they advertised! Everything was affordable and we had plenty left over! Our total was $30 for half a dozen pieces of garlic break and the two pasta dishes. My husband said kinda tucked away so it seemed like maybe not many people knew about it yet. Glad we tried it out!

    Salmon Caesar Salad

I ordered over the phone and the cashier was very funny and sweet. She made me laugh. I liked the cute decor in there . The salmon was so fresh and well seasoned with lemon and herbs. The Cesar salad was delicious with crunch croutons . The dressing was sweeter than usual but I surprisingly liked it .

Affordable delicious great pasta dishes! I appreciate this restaurant to go because it provides a great opportunity to feed our family with delicious food at an affordable price. We just tried this restaurant and loved everything. We ate all the food before we got a chance to take pictures of the pasta no lie. I definitely recommend it.

I'm always the early nerd so arrived first. My friend did not make a reservation so I put in our name for 8 and went to go sit in the bar to have a drink and wait for everyone else to arrive. The bartender was incredibly sweet and even charged my phone for me while I was waiting. After our party arrived we only waited about another 10 min or so before our table was ready. Our waitress greeted us immediately and took our drink order. When she came back we ordered a few appetizers: Fried Mozzarella, Calamari and wings. I had read reviews how amazing their garlic parm's wings were so ordered those with medium sauce on the side. Fried Mozzarella is one huge block of fried cheese. Like they literally bread and fry a block of cheese. Wasn't bad but hard to share with a table since hot mozzarella doesnt cut really well but it was okay. Calamari had virtually no flavor and the wings were really greasy. Like a little pool of grease under them. Flavor was okay but I personally would have preferred more garlic. A variety of entrees were ordered but I personally had the Eggplant Sorrentino. It was just okay. Their sauce isn't great but it was rolled eggplant with salami and ricotta. Again lacked flavor and I couldn't taste the salami at all nor even find it in the dish. The saving grace of this restaurant is the staff. Everyone was amazing and super accommodating for an unexpected party of 8 on a Friday night.

My two favorite dishes that never miss are the Lasagna and the Chicken Parm. Like clockwork, it has always been impeccable. Sadly my most recent experience will likely be my last experience. I ordered the Chicken Parm and when it came out there was something missing from my plate. Instead of the usual Rigatoni Pasta with Vodka Sauce there were a couple of stale chunks of potatoes and some sorry looking asparagus spears. I asked the bartender where is the pasta. She responded that it no longer comes with pasta and that I could order some at an additional charge. It was at that moment that I knew I would never return again. Never in my entire life have I ever ordered Chicken Parm at an Italian Restaurant and not have it come with pasta. That is like ordering a hamburger and it doesn't come with a bun. Then they tell you that you are more than welcome to order a bun at an additional cost. It was like the ultimate slap in the face. I understand that businesses are under financial pressure in these tough times. I can assure you though that this restaurant does not suffer from this fate. There is simply zero excuse for this type of behavior from ownership. Their meals are already priced near the top of the market here in Scottsdale, and rightfully so as their food is top tier. But to raise prices and then remove a staple item off of the menu is asinine. Again, I really do not like writing negative reviews for businesses because I am a fellow business owner as well. However the consumer in me cannot stand for this type of treachery. I am sick and tired of paying more and getting less. This is not meant to deter others from experiencing this place. It is meant to let management that loyal customers are dissatisfied with their business practices. Finally, I am not a cheapskate either. I always tip at least 30% which is way above the average. I am not tone-deaf, I sympathize with restaurant staff and wage gaps so every little bit helps in the service industry.
