I absolutely love this place. The mixture of downtown Ogden flair and a hipster type following make this place truly unique. The nerdy questions for a double punch always brings a smile to my face as I remember little snippets of my childhood resurfacing. The pizza here is amazing. It's greasy, thin and definitely makes you want to eat more and more with very bite. I love the daily specials, coming in less than $8 for two slices and a drink. It's not rocket science, and these guys have a great recipe for an awesome eatery. The tables are a little cramped at times, but it just speaks volumes for how busy this place can get during lunch. I also commend them for staying open late like most pizza joints back east. A Friday or Saturday night trip to the bars ends well with a lucky slice in hand. I gave this place 4 stars because you are not going to find hardly any good pizza places in the state of Utah. I went with the basic cheese pizza at first. If you can't do a cheese pizza right, than you are doing something wrong as a business. It has a good vibe inside, and there are vegetarian- and vegan-friendly options here (they even have a separate vegan menu you can take with you). They also carry issues of SLUG magazine and the newspaper for you to read while you wait for your pizza or your slice of pizza. Great atmosphere, they did a great job with their ideal corner location. Exposed brick walls are played off well with wood floors and tables. It's dark but in a nice hangout way. And the music was GREAT! Indie playlists make me happy, and the place was upbeat and relaxing. Service was excellent, they were friendly but not overly chatty and quick on requests. The pizza was excellent, the pepperoni wasn't too spicy, the bacon was thick and perfectly cooked and the toppings were plentiful! Crust is thin but not salty or crispy, sauce had a great tangy flavor. Lucky Slice is the best pizza place in Ogden. We usually get a couple slices and a drink, which is very filling. This place is almost too busy at lunch, so try coming on off-hours or on weekends to get the fastest service. One unique feature is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, which is a game I grew up playing on Nintendo. The only negative is that there is very little seating, so don't take a large group here. I hope they can expand this location and add other locations in the near future! read more

But really, the moment you walk in to Lucky Slice Pizza in the Historic Downtown Main Street District, they greet you with smiles, and help you find either that one single slice, or a whole pie, with the best prices. They make it all handmade in front while you wait. Also, the inside of the location is really nice, and has a calm, social and rustic structure and culture. The employees are pretty chatty, during no customer times, and will chat for a minute to keep you occupied. Really good pizza! My friend's house isn't too far from this location and we order pizza from here quite often! Only reason they don't quite make a full five stars is because the last delivery guy that we had wasn't pleasant at all. My friend opened the door and he was holding his beer and the delivery kid asked if he could have a drink before hitting the road. Thinking it was a joke my friend held out his beer and told him to go for it, the kid TOOK IT and DRANK IT then bolted! Needless to say we were all in shock. We've lived in Ogden a little over a year and have tried Ligori's and the Pie. We tried Lucky Slice for the first time last week and it's our new fave! Only complaint is parking is a pain at the 25th street location. But we greatly enjoyed our pizza and will be coming back frequently! read more

This is a short walk from our hotel in downtown Ogden. It's definitely a college place, but the service was good and the pizza was very good. We had the Margherita pizza and cheese bread and both came out very hot and fresh. There looks to be a nice beer selection. Pretty good pizza! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with a large order of breadsticks. Everything was handmade and hand tossed, not like a cookie cutter type pizza joint. Service was also pretty friendly, and the interior was pretty trendy and kitschy. Every time I order from them, and I'm not exaggerating, they get the order wrong and/or it takes 2 hours to get the food. I could have driven to the grocery store, bought flour and all the other ingredients, and cooked the pizza twice before these guys arrived with my food.
