we had a blast last night at this alley! the tiled entrance is so pretty, music is decent, & security works to keep safe with bag checks/metal detector. i booked an online reservation which made everything smooth after we hit the bar. Josh later told us that servers will come to your lane and bring you anything on the menu, drinks included. he walked us to our lane and introduced himself as the AGM, which we thought was nice service. we've only been to the hollywood location but this one blooms in comparison. our server (i didn't catch her name but she had glasses) was so amazing and even gave me a few tips which was so helpful since i'm a beginner. the bartender with bows was nice too & drinks had a good kick to them. overall, this is probably my favorite lucky strike location so far and we'll probably return soon. read more

First time here at Lucky Strike came with some co workers play some bowling have some drinks and food. They forgot our drinks until we asked again after not getting the drink for like 20min and assigning a new person to us. But they said they didn't pass the order to the new waitress. We then ordered the platter and we never got it asked again they said sorry they didn't write it down forgetting again for our order. The girls were nice but the service wasn't good sadly. Great fun place but some shady sales practices. Front desk agent sold us summer premium packs and said we could use it today for 2 free daily bowling games. But then when we came to desk after playing one game to activate that agent had taken a break and the other one said no it's not usable for a week and would not honor sale. Bowling was definitely worth it. We had to walk up from lucky strike up the car ramps in the parking structure to get to the third floor because the escalator and elevators were locked after 10pm. That was very strange to us. The warm cookie was the best thing there. I had fun. I'll be back. There's also a review below about this place being anti LGBTQ and having a strip search. No one searched us at all, we just walked up to the check in counter. the two bowling lanes next to us were occupied by fantastic queer people, not to mention a few in our group are LGBTQ as well. But we're not professionals and so don't take ourselves seriously, obvs. Two arcade spaces for the kids - I wondered why they chose to split this up like they did Not a lot of space for booths to eat. We had a surprisingly fun and easy afternoon at Lucky Strike. The lanes were wide open when we arrived, so we walked right in, chose Lane #9, and were bowling within minutes. There were three of us, and we played a quick game that turned out to be the perfect break in the middle of the day. The lanes themselves are in great shape, and one detail I really appreciated was how the bowling balls are already drilled on both sides so one size truly does fit all and they are lined up at the return rack. No wandering around trying to find the right ball, they're right there and ready to go, which makes everything feel smooth and well thought out. They offer a large selection of appetizers, though we kept it simple this time with Diet Coke and a couple of beers, which hit the spot. The atmosphere was relaxed, not crowded, and easy to enjoy without feeling rushed. Pricing felt very reasonable for an afternoon outing: $7 for shoe rental and $11 per game per person. If you find yourself in Beverly Hills with a little time to spare, this is a great way to spend it. Easy, fun, and well run. We'd definitely come back again. Our son Leo B. turned six this month, and we threw him a birthday party at the Lucky Strike in the Beverly Center. We ended up hosting over thirty kids and their attendant parents, and not to toot my own horn, but it was an excellent party. The Lucky Strike team made it easy. I filled out a form online about a month before the party and received an email response from Danielle, a senior sales manager, almost immediately. We got on the phone and she walked me through everything, suggesting a package that included two hours of bowl time, shoe rentals, $10 arcade cards, chicken tenders, cheese pizza, fries, and unlimited soft drinks. I found a coupon code online and got 15% off the whole bill (Danielle did not volunteer this, and I'm glad it occurred to me to look). I paid a deposit and reserved the party time. She called again closer to the event, and I gave her an approximate headcount and ordered a few platters of food for the adults. The only day-of annoyance was our own fault. We parked on the wrong side of the Beverly Center and had to walk around the building with two kids and a box of party favors to find our way inside. You want to get as close to the La Cienega restaurant valet as possible. Once we were inside, the Lucky Strike crew took care of everything. We were helped by Marissa, Sam, and Sammy, who handled every aspect of the party so we, Leo's parents, could mingle and enjoy ourselves. I was genuinely surprised and impressed by the level of service. Food and drink were constantly replenished, and someone was always around in case we needed anything. We had four lanes occupied by children, most of them six and younger, and Sam and Sammy provided assistance inputting names and doing whatever else the kids required. We brought in our own cake, and the team set up a table for us and gave us everything we needed to serve it. We hadn't even discussed cake, they just did this as a matter of course, at no additional cost to us. We kept them busy, and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The space was great too, very clean and shiny, with glossy lanes and neon lighting. There was enough separation between the lanes and the arcade that almost all the kids stuck to bowling instead of wandering off to play games. (The exception was Leo's brother, Wade B., but he's three and we put my mom on him.) We'd heard this was a hazard of bowling parties and tried to order off the $10 arcade cards to avoid it. Weirdly, there was no way to do this without surrendering the advantages of a party package. We just gave out the cards with the party favors, when our bowling time was more or less up. Only the kids bowled, but it looked like a good time. They really got into it, and everything went smoothly. There were bumpers up at all times and even movable ramps that let little kids get speed on their balls so they wouldn't stall out mid-lane. I loved seeing Leo play with all his kindergarten friends. They took turns and cheered each other on, and I only saw one child cry (he was younger, and to his credit, the older boys were being chaotic). The food was totally solid. Everyone ate the kid food, and we added hot honey pepperoni and buffalo chicken pizza for the adults, as well as some spicy mini chicken tacos. We also got a few pitchers of Santa Monica Blonde Ale, which were placed far away from the soft drinks. The party wound down with cake and singing and a hilariously fast run on the party favors. After the bowling wrapped up, everyone hit the arcade, and while this was not my favorite part, I recognized that it was a nice arcade and the kids were obviously all over it. $10 in credits went fast, and my boys ran through a few surplus cards, too. They had a handful of tickets to show for their efforts, which they spent on candy. I do think Leo, at least, was more into the bowling side of Lucky Strike. He's only been bowling three times now, but he's very into it and convinced that he's a great talent (I was surprised to realize that he is not, in fact, terrible, in large part because he takes it seriously). We live near the Beverly Center and will definitely bring him back, either to party of just to bowl a couple games. It's a fantastic bowling alley with top tier lanes and service. read more

This place is dope! Located in the Beverly Center on the 1st floor, Lucky Strike came through for our team outing providing several hours of fun and drinks for the entire team. First off, make sure to park as close as possible to the 1st floor because I parked on the 3rd floor far away from the bowling alley and low-key got lost on my way back to the car. I tried to walk through the garage and that was a disaster. So, which ever way you get the Lucky Strike, drop bread crumbs so you know which way to go when you get back. Once I arrived, the ladies at the front asked me if I was part of the big group, and gave me my shoes while pointing me to the right location. The place is really nice! It's huge with two arcade sections and it was emaculant. It was only us when we arrived so I got to sit in the area next to our section because our area was small. We ordered drinks and appetizers. You have the ability to order with a waitress that is assigned to your area or you can order on the bowling kiosk and they bring your order to you. The only gripe I had about the place is that it's such a beautiful place and one thing I can't stand is bowling pins with strings. I get that it makes it easier and maybe that's the new cheaper way of doing it but there's something authentic about stringless bowling alleys. Maybe that's just me. Yeah just go elsewhere to bowl (Mar Vista Bowlero is decent). Really unfortunate how poorly run and managed this branch is. I'm not sure if it's because it's a chain or just the employees working at this location, but the Mar Vista Bowlero is under the same corporate umbrella and I haven't had any issues there. We had a reservation issue at this location. When I spoke with who I believe was the manager, he was very combative and questioned everything I was saying. He basically said nobody would have given me the information I was given to make a reservation. Thankfully I was able to show him proof of the exact number I called, the exact time I called, how long the call was, etc. Then he tried to blame corporate saying they must have taken the call, and they didn't know this specific lane. To a customer, whether corporate made the mistake or the local lane made the mistake it's no different. I cannot determine whether I am talking to a person at the physical lane or a person in the office. To add insult to injury, we tried to order food while we waited, but had to ask various different servers if we could order something. Basically nothing done to try to make the situation better, and everything that was done seemed to actually make the situation worse. read more

Our visit was disappointing due to poor communication and lack of professionalism. A member of our group accidentally brought in an outside beverage, apologized and complied when it was confiscated. However, we were later required to close out our tab without a clear explanation. When we asked the bar manager (Alex), the reasoning was vague and only loosely tied to the earlier incident. While we respect venue policies, any related restrictions should be communicated clearly at the time not enforced later in a confusing manner. Despite being cooperative, we felt disrespected and chose to leave early forfeiting paid time. I contacted guest relations but Colette was only interested in a positive review so he can offer a 10% discount instead of addressing more URGENT issues. HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT! Horrible service. Anti LGBTQIA. Had to pay $15 for valet , then after taking my money they told me they are closed and they will leave me car up front. Basically did a strip search upon arrival had to take arrival of clothing off and open every pocket on my body and jacket. My other guests didn't have an issue getting thru but was put off being handed thru security like we were at a Hollywood night club. I forgot my ID they wouldn't accommodate looking at a photo, (no big deal Im not drinking tonight ) they then denied my friend of age to get any drinks even though they had their ID. So families with kids can drink as we clearly saw, but because I didn't have an id they refused to serve her. Never got our order taken. Had to flag the server down to get water. The pitcher of dirty water and dirty cup arrive 1 hour and 18 mins later . The server offered a funnel cake and additional dessert for the inconvenience, the funnel cake has strawberries , we made alert of a food allergy so he asked if we wanted more strawberries. NO! The server then "went home" according to the manager who talked to us. As the server stood 15 feet away starring at us and talking to their team members about us. The manager said no desserts were mentioned and that he guess he could give us something. I said ok let us look at the menu for out free desserts. Then a funnel cake was thrown on our table by our new waitress. We sent it back immediately once again FOOD ALLERGY. The manager came back abruptly asking why we sent it back. I mentioned once again the food allergy and declined any desserts. He then continued to argue with us about sending it back, that he said to remove the strawberry syrup. I told him that wasn't expressed to us, and weren't about to risk a trip to an ER for a free dessert. After this we had NO waiter service in our lane, My wife arrived with my ID so we had to go to the bar to order drinks. Management came over to our lane AGAIN going into a long discussion about service, how's the experience , etc. Then asked "are you drinking" as I clearly had a drink in my hand. I joked do you want to see my id. He said "that would make things easier". Why would you need to see my ID again they checked it at the bar. I was told by the original server and two mangers that they video everything in the venue and record all interactions with staff and that's why they couldn't accept a picture of my id on my phone. But at this point I already showed it to the bartender. Throughout the night mangement and security Kept harassing us, circling around us, asking if we needed anything, and if we were going to finish our game or not. The staff would then stand 15 feet away starring at us and clearly talking about us. As time was up the manager abruptly approaches us asking if we closed out, I told them I had to walk to the bar to order and pay for my drinks. My friend finally got the high noon she orders 2 hours ago and was told the tab would be taken care of. There was no tab but the one drink, everything else was closed out at the bar. The manager continued arguing and following us out of the venue. Saying over and over again well I tried .... I honestly thing this was due to the fact that my party was a group of diverse queer individuals. The entire staff was rude I will never come back here again. Maybe Super Bowl kick-off is an off-time? He left, and I got service. My French 75 cocktail was actually really good! So there's that. Bottom line, slow service, good cocktail, decent fries. Lucky Strike strikes again! This is still a very new (and very busy) location. It's conveniently located inside the Beverly Center, and they offer a full bar and bites menu in the front portion, along with two sections of arcade games on both sides of the bowling lanes. If you're not coming with a large party (5-7 people or more), I'd recommend avoiding reserving a lane online, as it can get pricey. Instead, walking in to reserve a lane might be a better option. Since they're still in their busy phase, they only allowed us to play one game, which was disappointing given how long we had to wait. However, we passed the time at both the bar and the arcade, which is a great option for those with extra time (and money) to spend, lol. The venue is still very new, so everything is clean and well-maintained. Setting up our game was surprisingly easy, which was a nice touch. The staff was somewhat helpful, though they seemed pretty busy, so the service wasn't anything special. As of January, the prices were $13.99 per game, with a shoe rental fee of $6.99. read more

He made a point to stop by the lane to see how we were enjoying our time. Even took the time to find out where we lived and what drew us to the alley tonight. His staff saw how he interacted with us and I honestly believe made them better hospitality colleagues as he leads by example. Met up with a coworker on a Monday night around 8 PM, and Lucky Strike at the Beverly Center was a fun, easy pick. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is a sleek, well-lit bar on the right, with the arcade on the left, which immediately sets a cool, energetic lounge vibe. The bowling lanes in the back are lit with neon and ambient lighting, giving the space a lively nightlife feel. They run weekday and late-night specials (including discounted games and seasonal promos), which made Monday night feel like a solid value. The staff and bartenders were friendly and attentive, cocktails were good, and ordering drinks at the lane was easy. We also got the double burger with truffle fries, which hit the spot and was better than expected. Parking was easy in the Beverly Center garage -- levels 2-4 near sections D/E/F worked well. I actually really like it here the first couple of times I've been here the food and drink slap it's supper clean and everything the only thing is the staff, like iv had a couple times where everything runs smooth but iv been here like 10+ times and most times ether the security of the server is on some rude tip. But I have had times where the server and the security is cool. Can't remember the staff name that is rude though and it's always the same ones giving ppl a hard time.
