The Thai food here is absolutely amazing. That was probably the best drunken noodles I've ever had. Every single bite was full of flavor and perfect perfection.! The fried pork eggrolls were really good as well. We enjoyed those. We also enjoyed the chicken satay. It was amazing. I will add the service is a bit slow, but the lady is doing everything she can. She's all by herself and she did an amazing job just to be real because she had to go orders, she was taking payments, and waiting on every single table. all honesty if you think about that, it wasn't slow because she was by herself and she did a phenomenal job so I would say she did a great job as far as service goes. I will definitely come back here for years to come . I think I came here years ago when it was a different name I can't remember the name, but it was simply amazing. Easy five star review. I'll be back soon. Attention management you guys gotta address the roof. You got a bunch of leaky parts on your roof that should be changed out. It's a real bad look. Definitely address that ASAP or have the people that own. The building changed those out because it was quite awful to look at.

The moment you walk into this quaint little 30 seat restaurant, you are greeted by friendly staff and the beautiful smell of great food being cooked, I have been twice and the first time we had the pad Thai and red Curry and on my second visit I had the chicken with chili basil, really the only complaint that I would have would be that I thought four dollars for a fried egg on top of my chili. Basil chicken was a bit high when it is priced higher than most of the expensive high-end restaurants but that's just a personal note for me, everything that I ate tasted amazing and on that note also tasted better than most of the high ticket restaurants that I've been to. I have been eating Thai food since the mid 80s. I have lived in Thailand and I've tried to eat it almost every restaurant in Houston and Lucky Thai cuisine definitely holds up so far I will make a few more trips and try to sample most of the menu also for dessert we had the sticky rice and custard and it was one of the best sticky rice and custard. I've had in Houston so thank you to Lucky. Thai cuisine for giving me great meals.

Solid spot for Thai food! You can say it's Mom and pop shop or a hole in the wall! Very cool vibes with beautiful Thai decor and super friendly service! Plenty of parking! We got the chicken satay, yellow curry, and pad kee mow. All delicious! We also got Thai tea! Can't go wrong with that! Would definitely return whenever we're in the area

Visiting for the first time, I had a fantastic lunch here. I decided to try it out based on Yelp recommendations and the menu looked budget friendly. Heads up, the pricing has gone up from the last time someone took pics of the menu. I didn't get an updated photo on account of adult ADHD(probably). I'll try next time. Pad see ew with chicken, level 2 spicy: 5/5 so much flavor, absolutely delicious. Lots of chicken, would have liked more veggies. Level 2 spicy had a nice kick without the suffering. I would absolutely recommend this one! Sticky rice with custard: 3/5 just okay, I've had better. It was a little too sweet and the syrup almost bordered on liquidy icing. It wasn't horrible, I just don't think it's worth the money. I didn't dock any points for the dessert because the pad see ew was the best I've had. I can do without the dessert. I shouldn't even be eating it anyway lol

I was *lucky* enough to go to Lucky Thai Cuisine for a work lunch and WOW! Despite its rather unassuming exterior, this restaurant is incredible. The women working there were very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress let us know that their busiest time is typically around lunchtime. While the space is relatively small, we didn't have any issues with being seated after arriving around 11am and the sound level was moderate after several other parties arrived. In terms of food and drink, I ordered a Thai tea (one of my favs) and we shared a few dishes. I especially loved the Pad See Ew and the Tom Kha soup. Everything we ordered was delicious, though. I would absolutely come back if I found myself in the area again. As a Thai food enthusiast, Lucky Thai Cuisine scores high. The missing star is just due to it being a bit of a geode, and because it did get to be fairly crowded while we were there. I would definitely recommend this place, though!

Yep! Deserves the rating so far. Stopped by for lunch and tried the typical chicken Pad Thai. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and delicious! I don't have much to complain about, could use a little more chicken in there maybe. Exterior and interior of the place is very basic, but there are a reasonable amount of seats inside and the service was fast enough. I would probably think if it gets crowded they might be a bit overwhelmed but I think the food is worth it.

Just found out this place near work. A little Thai cafe with a very friendly greet when we just walked in. The place is not fancy, but A small cozy place, good food and good service give a warm and very comfortable atmosphere. I had some flat noodle and red curry. We will come back next time to try more dishes like pad Thai, papaya salad,

This place is dainty and family friendly. The hole in the wall restaurant features great food and many options. Service is great as well. Don't need crowds with other people yet you can still enjoy quality food! It was a good try!

Lovely hole-in-the-wall place. Prices were quite reasonable, and service is friendly. We had Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Both were nice but we enjoyed the Pad See Ew more - Pad Thai was a little too sweet. Spiciness level is customizable from 0-5. We only tried levels 1 and 2. There was basically no heat at 1, and barely any at 2. We could have easily done 3-4 I think, but YMMV.

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. Large serving size and great price. We also got papaya salad which was just right and nice spice. I wish I could come here often and try everything else on the menu.

I wouldn't necessarily sit down here but if you want to you can. More of a grocery store than sit down restaurant. Khao soi gai: 7/10 This was so flavorful and delicious but definitely should have opted for the chicken instead of the soft shell crab I wasn't really a fan of the crab. Love the flavors and textures though. Definitely want to try with chicken and I recommend getting some rice on the side. Pad mama: 9/10 This had a really yummy vibrant flavor with a good amount of protein and leafy greens. Could be spicier I think the just gave us a random spice level. Overall really yummy and good portion for the prices but would love to retry with more spice in the dishes.

I went with my husband during Houston Restaurant Week, and maybe that was my mistake…read more We got the Thai ice tea and Thai jasmine green tea for drinks, squid and tofu for appetizers, the crying tiger and kua kling for entrees, and the sticky rice with mango and the coconut ice cream for desserts. I can confidently say that I was disappointed. There was not one dish that stood out or that I would recommend or come back for. I especially was sad that the crying tiger flavors really missed the mark. The sticky rice that came with it felt like it was reheated and some parts were hard. It also tasted like some of the vegetables (green beans and carrots) that come with the entrees were frozen, not fresh. The jasmine green tea tastes like a powder mix. Some of the squid tasted freezer burned. The kua kling was the most interesting and unique of the dishes, but not one that I would go out of my way to eat again. The sticky rice with mango was as expected. The coconut ice cream is probably pre-portioned and frozen so was rock solid when it came out. I did not find most of the toppings particularly good. It was a busy Friday and I know service was busy. The food did not take long to come out, but we definitely had dishes from previous courses that stacked up, and we had to ask them to be taken away. They do have a high chair for toddlers and brought a plastic plate/utensils, but there was not a changing table in the bathroom we used. We have had such great experiences at other Thai restaurants in Houston that I would not come back.

It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and hopefully next time the hospitality matches the quality of the food.
