This used to be my favorite Chinese food spot but they always seem to be out of my favorite entrees. Plus the quality went down a bit from when I first started coming here. It's not a terrible spot but if you have specific favorites for their entrees you may need to find new favorites because they'll probably run out of it. It's actually nice to have the staff/presumably owner be vegetarians because not only do they offer vegetarian versions of their dishes, but they're actually made well and incorporate things like chopping the tofu into smaller cubes so that it's not impossible to eat with the food. Larger cubes often turn out kinda squishy by being simultaneously over and undercooked, which is not an issue here! It's made perfectly and to order. I really love this place in Riverside. I usually come here to get dinner before heading to the drive in movie theater. It's right next door and they always pack their to go boxes as much as they can. It's a little gem hidden in the Lincoln plaza, near the Mr. Blue's donuts. It doesn't look like much, but the best places rarely do. Their menu doesn't mention this, or at least not the last time I was there, but they have vegetarian and vegan versions of most of their foods. You can ask them for any of the items with tofu and they will make it for you in the back. It was a wonderful surprise since I really love vegetarian food. I came here with my sister, who is a vegan, and my mom when we were all together. They got our food to us quickly and it was really fresh and delicious. it was delicious. This was about a year ago, Yelp won't let me check in without a review anymore so I don't know if everything is up to date but I hope this place is still as amazing as it was when I went there. read more

Been going to this place for years, even with all the management changes. And so far this is by far the best version. The BBQ pork reminds me of another Chinese restraurant place I went to in Orange County. The orange chicken is also really delicious, has a very sweet orangy taste to it like honey was added to it. Then my husband order the Spicy Shrimp Plate ( Spicy yes good but super greasy they use the oil based chili). Ok back to my soup it only had 1 YES 1 Shrimp. I dig and dig to find and nothing. The pork was not sliced was chunked (no issue). So when I was about to leave I just went over to the lady that served us and I said this: Just an observation the soup did not have 4 shrimps only 1. And the lady said it comes with 2. And I said well I only got 1. Your picture showed 4 you guys should change it and the lady said : if you want extra shrimp is $2.50 each .... who in the world will pay $2.50 per Shrimp? Hello. Anyways I told her you never said it comes with 2 your picture shows 4 and that what you gave to give. And I left. Is sad to know I was ripped off by food shortness and is not cool. By far the only place I will eat Chinese food, why I've tried many different places because my husband is a huge fan of the food but it's either to dry , old food, or no flavor or meat with a lot of fat. I can say the food at this place was fresh nice color to it, full of flavor, and was not dry ! My husband and I have been craving Chinese food for awhile so we finally decided to get some last night. Lucky Wok has good reviews and is located close to our home so we decided to give it a try. I don't know if we got there at the perfect timing or if they are always changing out the food, but we got our chow mein, fried rice, and orange chicken fresh from the kitchen. We also got mushroom chicken and kung pao chicken (not straight from the kitchen) but it still tasted great, The food was delicious and we didn't feel horrible after eating it. It was super inexpensive and the service was wonderful as well, which is obviously fantastic. They actually remembered what had happened last time I was there and apologized to me about it and went out of their way to make it right for me, which shows they do care about their customers. My friend with the vegetarian options had the pineapple chicken, but the chicken was substituted with tofu. She said it tasted awesome and wants to know the recipe for the sauce. My other friend had beef and broccoli, pineapple chicken, fried rice and chow mien. She said the broccoli was cooked perfectly. She also wanted sweet & sour chicken, but they didn't have that particular item, so they made her the breaded chicken without the sauce and suggested she dip it in the sweet and sour sauce they have, and it ended up being pretty good. I had kung pao chicken, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken with steamed rice and chow mien. It all tasted awesome -- zero complaints here. The Kung Pao was especially flavorful and the vegetables in it were cooked perfectly. I've tried SEVERAL different Chinese takeout places in Riverside... and I've been disappointed several times. The restaurant burned my shrimp fried rice. I took it to go and thought it smelled funny in the car. Tasted it, definitely burned. I took it back and kindly asked they replace my dish. So disappointed with my order earlier today. I ordered three 1 item entry meals for me and my 2 children. Everything seemed to be going well and my delivery arrived at my door in good time. When I opened the door and picked up my order it only had two meals so I called Lucky Wok and asked them why there was only two meals instead of the 3, I had ordered. The woman that answered told me that they ran out of the 3rd item so they only sent the two meals. She also said not to worry because they refunded me the difference. I asked why she didn't call me and ask me if I wanted a substitute item and she seemed like it never occurred to her to call her customer. So here I was needing 3 meals and only having two. She did ask me what I wanted to do, so I asked her to have an Orange chicken meal deliver to me as soon as possible....here it is after 10:30pm and still have not received my 3rd item.
