Updated with large mirrors and comfortable seating (both in the chair and out), this shop is very inviting. Decided to try Lucky's Barber Shop at Coit and Campbell on a whim rather head over to my regular barber. I had tried them several years before after they took over Spanish Village Barbers at Coit and Arapaho but was not impressed with the barbers. Unfortunately, my experience at the new location today was not any better. When I walked in the door a male barber sweeping the floor asked me if I had an appointment. I told him I didn't and asked if I needed one. He said no and asked me to sign in stating that someone would be with me. There was one other customer waiting for what appeared to be the male barber and a female colleague. The female barber was walking another customer out and told the customer waiting she would be right with him. I sat down about the time another customer walked in and was greeted by the male barber that greeted me. He asked the gentleman if he had an appointment and he said no. The male barber said, no problem, I'll take care of you and invited him to sit down in his barber chair. I sat for a moment and then stood up and told the attendant she could remove me from the list. She asked me if there was a problem and I told her what happened. She responded that the other customer was a regular. I told her that I might have been but based on my experience today that wasn't going to happen. I told her she could read my review online and walked out. This is it and I hope it will help others avoid the terrible customer experience I had today. read more

Been coming here for about 3 years now. It's a decent place with okay haircuts. They give discounts to students, and veterans during the week which is why I kept coming back. My haircut is not tough whatsoever and the only guy that KIND OF gets it right is Ray. Had an appt today with him, he sat someone down as I arrived knowing damn well he had me coming in. Took his time, 18 mins pass and he's still not done so I left because what's the point of a damn appointment then? You're not that good to begin with and you should be lucky you even have a job. They've lost me as a customer forever now and I sincerely hope they get their act together. Also, these are not barbers. A barber gives a badass haircut that's worth the $35-$50. These clowns are hairstylists at best, so don't be fooled. read more

Pretenders! Keeping a few bottles of beer in the cooler doesn't make you a barbershop. Very disappointing hair cut. Lady didn't even clean her station properly before asking me to sit (that's when I should have walked out). Had to ask for shampoo and neck shave. Then she didn't put a towel on me n proceeded to give me a nice facial with a cold water. My whole backside was wet. You can get a better cut at Great Clips and to think she was boasting "I wont work for one of those Clip places"... I now know why, they won't hire her - not qualified.
