Outside of the shared kitchen building (where you pick up)

4++ they specialize in New York style pizza out of a pick up type operation from a ghost kitchen in the valley. Because it is a pick up style ghost kitchen you don't get the vibe or ambiance that you would from a brick and mortar. My buddy did the initial ordering, but it seemed pretty straightforward and easy and the pickup process was pretty easy as well with friendly people helping you. We were watching some of the NFL playoff games and we decided to order from here. I believe we ordered the supreme, but held off on the mushroom (my buddy doesn't like mushrooms haha). I would say the pizza is really good. Definitely a great option in the area when you want some pizza for pick up and to bring home for events or just meals between a few people.

I've tried a few pizza places here in the valley, and haven't loved a lot of them. I decided to take a chance with Lucky's. It's located inside one of those food hubs that shares a kitchen so you won't see a store front. The pizza I tried was really fresh and hot when I got. It wasn't a NY slice but I really enjoyed the pizza and wings.

The crust could be crispier. It was soggy especially in the middle. I ordered a Deluxe and a Hawaiian. I found the Hawaiian pizza was sweeter than everywhere else. The deluxe pizza had big chunks of meatballs. But the whole pizza was lacking salt. Price is still better than other places as they are operating in a ghost kitchen. The order took a little longer than I would like.

Delicious sauce, crust and toppings. Did not support. We had a large cheese Sicilian and a regular margarita. Turned out great. Picked it up in their ghost kitchen. Staff was super friendly. It's a kitchen in a giant building. There is no seating nor customer bathrooms.

Sweet pepperoni pizza with caramelized onions. Sooooo goood

I've been here twice and wow both times this place did not disappoint. My personal favorite? The pepperoni with caramelized onions, OMG, it's the best of the best! The cheese, the crust, the sauce so crispy so thin and sooo yummy. The owner and Nicholas at the front are also super nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The spot can be a little tricky to find since it's a ghost kitchen, but once you're inside, you're greeted with friendly service and amazing food. Lucky's has become one of my top pizza spots, and I'll definitely be coming back again and again. Would recommend!

I'm very particular about my Pizza Margherita so we tried the famous YouTube ad about a small Italian Pick Up Pizza place on Owensmouth Street in Canoga Park, a much touted pizza core er owned by young Italians. We ordered the 15' Pizza Margherita and took it home. This place is located in a shared restaurant warehouse like building in an industrial place. There's really no sit in or tables, it's a pick up ordering system format. As soon as I got home I opened the box and began smelling the pizza first, looked for the basil and the quality of the cheese. The aroma was Margherita like and as soon as I munched in, hmmmm... the taste was close to the real pizza Margherita that reminds me of Tuscany. There's really no parking, let's make that clear, price is about 22 dollars for the 15 inch and ordering is online. If you want to order at the site, it will take you at least an hour to wait for your pie. These folks really knead and prepare your pizza by had and it's NOT like one of those frozen ones. However, their pizza is really good, take it from me. I've travelled in Italy and Europe many times. I usually drive from village to village during my breaks to enjoy anything food or pie in Italy. Let's face it, pizza in Los Angeles and America for that matter is unavoidably all over BUT they are not made the same and much less taste that great. This pizza is not the best, short of the Italian equivalent of pizza Margherita of Eataly in Century City or Cipriani of Beverly Hills or Manhattan BUT it's close. So, if you are always aching for pizza, try thin one and you will never be sorry.

The Place- This place is a trip. It is located in what looks like a small industrial area. You walk into a hallway with a bunch of doors and see that multiple restaurants, to go only, have rented small places. I love the ingenuity. Food- I had the Supreme Pizza and it was very good and I would recommend. Service- Friendly. The only thing that kept me from getting to 5 stars was that I would have wanted my $30 18" pizza to have been in the $25 range.

Cheese slice with their magical mango sauce.

Superb thin-crust cheese pizza pie from Lucky's. Found this spot on yelp and I'm so glad I did. Their sourdough is prepared for over 3 days, the cheese and tomato sauce are high quality, which makes their pizza very tasty. Each slice is somewhat well done, the undercarriage has some char and the slice holds its posture, doesn't sag. With each bite you're hitting a variety of tastes notes and truly tasting each ingredient and freshness of the pie. They gave me a side of this incredible sauce for the dipping and I was blown away-it's a must try. The sauce I'm showcasing is the spicy mango sauce and as you dip your slice into it, it could literally change your life. What seems to be a mango puree with a touch of cayenne pepper, this magical sauce compliments each slice so perfectly. A must try, for the pizzas and this sauce! The place is slightly hard to find, cause it's actually a ghost kitchen and you have to walk into this hallway until you reach the Lucky's door. The customer service is very friendly and professional. Great find for me since I'm only 10 minutes away. Will definitely order from them again!

Best pizza in the world made by the best chef !! Ask for their spicy mango sauce. Must try their Doms Pizza or Supreme pizza !

Hands down, authentic pizza. The quality of the bread and the depth of flavor don't even compare to any chain pizza restaurant. I love that the dough is sourdough, you can truly taste the difference. I also really appreciate supporting a small business that takes pride in what they do. The cook/owner (not 100% sure, but he was amazing) was so kind and generous. He gave me a slice while I was waiting, and I was instantly sold. The customer service alone is why I came back to order a full-size pizza. Perfect for a family night, and honestly just an all-around great experience.

    Perfect

We only ordered takeout, but everything was outstanding. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Our order was ready on time, and the staff was friendly and professional. One of the best takeout pizza experiences we've had. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

I always get a slice first, and if it's really good, I'll come back for more. If not, I move on to the next place. Today happened to be one of those move on situations. I went with the Boston Sicilian slice. Right away I noticed the slice had been sitting in the counter display for a while, and I was hoping they wouldn't give me that one, but they did. They popped it in the oven for a couple of minutes and brought it out. The slice actually had a nice amount of marinara, ricotta, pesto, and melted cheese, and there was a little olive oil that added some nice flavor. The crust had a good crunch on the outside and stayed soft inside, but it wasn't as thick and airy as a traditional Detroit-style pizza. The dough also had a noticeable sourdough taste. Overall, it wasn't a bad slice, but it definitely wasn't a great one either. I think if it had been fresh out of the oven instead of sitting on the counter display, it probably would have been a much better experience. For me, it was just an average slice, and not one I'd go out of my way to come back for.

Patxi's has become one of my favorite spots whenever I'm craving Chicago-style deep dish…read more On our latest visit, we ordered the 10-inch Chicago Ultimate deep dish, and it was the perfect size for two. We even had two slices left over. If you're dining with more than two hungry people, I'd recommend ordering the next size up. One thing first-time visitors should know is that deep-dish pizza takes time. Your pizza is made fresh to order, and it's absolutely worth the wait. The sauce is easily my favorite part... rich, flavorful, and one of the best pizza sauces I've had. The ingredients taste fresh and high quality, and the crust strikes that perfect balance between crispy and buttery without feeling too heavy. I also appreciated that I left feeling satisfied instead of overly stuffed or bloated. We stopped by during happy hour, so I paired it with a Peroni that really hit the spot on a warm day and was a great value. Bri made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, checked on us throughout the meal, and even offered to bring us ranch before we had to ask. Great service always stands out. From the quality ingredients to the excellent service, Patxi's continues to be one of my favorite places for deep-dish pizza. Come hungry, be patient, and enjoy every bite. Cheers!

When our waitress finally came over, we ordered both drinks and food at the same time to save time. She couldn't answer basic questions about the menu, and when our drinks arrived 15 minutes later, my husband was served the wrong beer. After that, we waited another 40 minutes with no food and no check-ins, while several tables that arrived after us were served first. We eventually had to ask another worker to find the manager, because our waitress was nowhere to be found and we wanted to leave. About 10 minutes later, the manager brought out our pizza, which was room temperature, and didn't even acknowledge that we'd requested to speak with him until we brought up our concerns. He apologized and comped our meal, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the wait. The pizza was bland and cold, and the service was some of the slowest and most inattentive we've experienced. We wanted to support a local restaurant, but we will not be coming back to this spot. Very disappointing experience.
