Showed up at a different time than scheduled. Clogged my kitchen sink and vaccum and didn't even mention it. I hired them for a move-out deep cleaning of a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Took them nearly 2 hrs to just complete each if the small bathrooms. (Less than 60 sqft) tub, shower w/o doors, toilet & sink, in each. I know I've done a Marine Corps style field day cleaning on them in the past within an hour and their results weren't even close. Sink hardware was barely wipe down let alone clean or polished. My kitchen sink disposal hasn't worked for a while, so I understand that wasn't their fault, but they clogged the sink and didn't even mention they had a problem with it. I requested they wash a few leftover dishes and they left a pot dirty on the counter. The sink was empty and left as if nothing was wrong with it. They brought their own vacuum cleaner for the floors. They informed me, about mid way through becuase the carpets were too old they wouldn't be able to finish vacuuming them. I told them that was fine since they were getting removed anyway. What I didn't know was at some point they decided to use my vacuum cleaner, (not a big deal), but they completely filled & clogged it up and didn't even think to empty it or ask how or where to empty it. Unfortunately I don't know the exact names of the actual persons cleaning that day, but I would not hire this company again based on this experience. Only giving them the two stars, because the apartment at least passed inspection and they did have to work around other crews working in the apartment. Just bad communication and lack of respect for other's property. Communication would have made it more acceptable. read more

I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews as I recognize how damaging they can be to a business. In fact, this may only be my 2nd one but it's unfortunately warranted. I hired this company to clean a 3300 sqft home that my clients recently moved out of. The home was mostly vacant with some staging in a few rooms. The home was lived in and probably dirtier than usual since they were preparing to move out and knew we were hiring a cleaning company. I was quoted $350-$400 for the cleaning and ultimately was charge $430, which I felt was still fair for the size of the home. However, when I came back to the house, I discovered the plantation shutters were still very dirty along with the carpeted stairs and not one light switch had been cleaned through the house. Hello, Covid! When I texted to say I was disappointed and sent the attached pictures, the owner proceeded to tell me that the house "was really dirty", and that his crew went over everything twice but that was the best that they could do. Isn't this the point of hiring a cleaning service?! He also said the dust must "have come up in the air and come back down" and kept telling me I need to have the stairs steam cleaned.  I told him if he wasn't going to be able to clean the house or there was a problem, that he should have called me to address it, instead of leaving without mentioning it and charging me MORE than originally quoted. I also reminded him his job was to vacuum up fur, not get out the stains on the carpet. Ultimately, I asked that he either reduce the fee or come back to clean and he offered $50 off but refused to come back. The entire conversation was just weird as he was overly defensive and argumentative.  At one point, I even asked if he thought it was appropriate to be speaking to a customer in his tone. He didn't care. In all my years in real estate, I've never had such a poor cleaning service experience. I will be sending him $250 for his time but will now be going back to finish his job, myself. read more

The wife wanted a deep clean for her Mother's Day gift and that's what she got! Messaged multiple companies on Yelp and even though Lucy's was the most expensive decided to go with them based on yelp / Nextdoor / etc sites where I did my research. They were always in contact which is extremely important since that seems to be lacking these days when there is no excuse when we have smart phones. We settled on a date and time and confirmed the day before and even on the day of they let me know they would be coming to the end of the time frame they had scheduled which was not a big deal because they COMMUNICATED! so a 3 person crew rolls in a gentlemen and two women and they go to work! They stated windows would be extra but threw in the dining room sliding ones since the wife asked. The wife has been singing "the house is so clean" and smiling for the past few days so that's how I know they did a great job! Again they were the most expensive but after reading countless reviews on a myriad of sites complaining about services that low ball you on price then people complain guess what - you get what you pay for lol They did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend them. read more

The white shaker cabinets were stained, the brand new bathroom was left with so many stains, I was so heartbroken thinking it would not look the same. Was I wrong! I am in hopes that people don't actually use this scam artist. My experience was ver quick and simple. He damaged our property and left. Didn't offer to fix it and still do the job just ran away. I really did not want to write this review but I'm really upset by the service received. It was not all bad, but what made me write this review was the response from Gorge. When discussing initially over the phone to set up the cleaning appointment George had given me a quote with my description of the home. I asked if he could come by before to actually see the home to get a more accurate quote because it's impossible to know without seeing the home initially. As I was gathering quotes from some other businesses, all of them had said that they need to do a walk-through before finalizing a quote, so I assumed this was standard. he said that he doesn't have time for the walk-through which I understand and that he would stay within the price range that was quoted. While I understand the time constraint, it is on the responsibility of the business if they do not do an initial walk-through. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the cleaning, George texted saying quote, "I can take off 50 of what was missed. 290 total. The home was really dirty and cluttered we moved as much as we could to clean behind stuff except for heavy furniture." I have attached a screenshot below. There was no apology for the incomplete job. Here is my issue with this text. The house was not cluttered, we spent the last 2 days specifically decluttering so all they had to do was clean. It falls on the business for not conducting an initial walk though and he cannot claim the reason for an incomplete job is that the house was "dirty". If the house was "too dirty and cluttered" for him, then he should have been honest and told us that this job is outside of the quote because he did NOT do a walkthrough before. This is his fault for not 1) doing the walkthrough, and 2) not being communicative of the state of the home and his expectations. I would have 100% respected and been okay with him telling us that the state of the house is outside of the quote, but instead of communicating this to us, he just didn't clean the house well enough. I feel like this was a rip off, especially seeing the things that were incomplete. TLDR; If you aren't going to do a walkthrough before coming to clean a house, either be honest and communicate instead of not doing a good job + deflecting and frankly being mean with the unnecessary comment about the home. Incredible. These guys were absolutely amazing. I forgot about cleaning for moving out of my old apartment and called last minute and they were able to squeeze me in the next day. I was looking for move in cleaning services. Jorge was responsive, and had early availability. This house sat empty for 3 years before it was sold, so there were dust collecting in corners you would easily look over. Jorge's team was able to remove that layer of dust to refresh the place. I also asked for focus on water built up in the showers, the ladies worked their magic and made the glass look like new. I would like to note that if your house is larger, requires a lot of detailed cleaning, or tidying, hire them for longer than 2hrs (their standard cleaning time). Most people ask for a cleaning crew and expect them to turn over a new home within one cleaning session. read more

I wish there was no star option as well, they quoted me $200 for a small 3 bedroom home which is daily maintained, within 2 hours they called me that home is cleaned and they are done, when i came home i was shocked, nothing was cleaned, they did such an awful job, all under and corners were dirty and full of mess, there was dead spider next to my bed on the floor and purposely i didnt touch it to see if they clean it but they didnt! Unfortunately, I hired Lucy's for a deep "pre-move-in" cleaning. (Found on, Thumbtack) To my poor judgment, I paid them before doing a thorough walk through after they cleaned. Hard lesson! I asked them to clean the tracks for our closets, and scrub inside & out of our kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinet, etc. (they only cleaned the tracks in the master bedroom. Not the 2 other rooms.) I'm now moving in and noticing all that they didn't clean for $330 + tip. The one cabinet I noticed the day after they cleaned, that wasn't cleaned, they sent 1 girl back to clean it. I asked her about a couple other things, but she said she didn't have time to do more, and I did not notice the kitchen cabinets until now, inside the bathroom cabinets, oven, and more until I moved in. None of them were cleaned or wiped down thoroughly. I contacted the owner/manager (George or Jorge) and he told me that he already sent the one girl back and that he can't do more. He said I should of sent him pictures. I should have, but ended up cleaning while moving in. George also said, "the house was really dirty." My position.... that is why I hired them!!! If he saw the job, I don't think he'd be happy with his staff's work. Bummed out, and now broke, and moving, and cleaning. I have a son with special needs, and was hoping not to have the added stress of cleaning after I moved in. Also, I think they used the wrong product on our stone floors. They're now dull, and show spots. Really disappointed and I'm surprised they wouldn't make it right after my 4th phone call. read more
