Went to this Spot for the first time to see a band play. We started off in what they call "the basement" which is the food/ bar area. It consists of a bar and 8 to10 tables. You order your food at the bar and then they deliver it to your table. They are known for their smash burgers, so I ordered the psycho burger. The burger was great! Really juicy with a nice, crisp Smashburger edge. The tater tots were abundant on the plate and just delicious. I had a chocolate martini and a Cosmo. Both drinks were well crafted and strong! Just perfect. We then proceeded to "the garage," the room with the band in it. The garage was a very funky vibe with lots of license plates and tools decorating the walls. It felt like you're in you grandfathers garage! Apparently, they have different bands every week. We saw the band "Archives" who rocked some great 80s music. This is a great venue to see a band. There is also a second bar in the garage room. It was a really fun evening, and I will be back.

I was here for the very first time w/ my wife for a surprise bday party for a friend of mine on Saturday. So this is about my experience in the back room where the party was being held for obviously, a private function. The space was perfect capacity for holding approx 15-20 people. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. Although, my wife ordered a Malibu bay breeze & when we ordered a second they told us they had run out of coconut flavored rum. Bummer. :( She was very accommodating nonetheless. The party consisted of wings & mini tacos. I enjoyed the wings immensely the mini tacos not so much. At the end of the open bar bday party, we strolled to the front of the restaurant & joined the regular crowd while a band played hits by John Cougar Mellencamp & Kansas' "Carry on my wayward son" you get the idea. Older crowd and the music was older classic rock vibes. Place was crowded, granted it wAs Saturday night. Overall great place to throw a party. Fun crowd.

Not a fan. Food was greasy and they do there best work with fried only. Service was very good though. Great location but not the food.

The three taco gringos is awesome. No need for extra hot sauce since the seasoned beef has a good kick to it. Highly recommended.

Do you stand for shows or sit? Both? Can you stand down front? I see tables further back from pictures.

Depends on the shows. Most are general admission and seats are first come, first serve. Some shows do include reserved seats with the pre-ticket sales.

My girlfriend and I decided to share the very generous portion of paella. The rice in the paella was absolutely delicious and there was a good assortment of seafood. My only criticism if any was that it was a little bit oily as we worked our way down to the bottom of the dish. We ate plenty each and had plenty to take home. We then decided to try the desserts. I had the bread pudding or Tres Luce (spelling?) and she had the flan. Both were delicious but unfortunately, towards the bottom of each, we discovered that they had just recently been frozen. They hadn't quite thawed out at the bottom! The service was excellent - warm and inviting. I wish I could've given an extra star, but between the frozen deserts decide and the oily paella I couldn't.

Their skirt steak and lomo saltado are amazing, shrimp burrito very tasty, and you absolutely must end with the churros. My biggest complaint is service is slow which is strange because I've never seen it busy and it can get frustrating waiting around for someone. And though the decor and space is really nice, the lack of people doesn't make for a fun and/or lively atmosphere which I find really important for any restaurant experience.

The grilled oysters were pure perfection, garlicky, cheesy, and served piping hot! Paired with crusty bread to soak up every bit of that savory goodness. With Sunday's half-price special, we couldn't resist getting our own order. Just saying the word jambalaya makes me want to start singing ("Jambalaya and a crawfish pie and a fillet gumbo 'Cause tonight, I'm gonna see my ma cher amio"), and once you taste it, you'll want to sing too. Shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage with rice--a timeless Creole classic. I couldn't resist these perfect sweet oysters with crispy fries, homemade coleslaw, and tartar sauce! We finished with some very tasty sugary beignets--most of which made their way back home as we were very full. The lavender lemonade was refreshing and delicious, but the Hurricane cocktail was truly exceptional.

I'm consistently impressed, so when one of my cousins alerted me to the opening of Crawdaddy's I was instantly intrigued. Though I can take or leave Southern and Creole food, the great reviews were enough for me to want to check this place out - so my siblings, cousins, and I made plans to grab dinner here. Located on Wheeler Ave amongst several other businesses, Crawdaddy's welcomes you before you even enter by piping music outside. As we entered, we were greeted by the host who invited us to sit in the lounge while our table was being prepared. The lounge was off the entrance and had access to a window which peeked into the bar - it was small but effective for those waiting for a table and wanting a quick drink. The decor in the restaurant was well done - there was a good amount of flair on the wall but not so much that it was tacky or over the top. The tables were covered with brown paper and there were some random Mardi Gras beads placed there - this seemed a little sophomoric, but they're new so I can see this leveling up over time. We started with drinks; I had the lavender lemonade which had fresh flavor (I'm fighting for that Spring weather). The menu is broken up into apps and salads, po' boys, fry baskets, and roux and rice. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: dirty fries with beef debris, hush puppies, crawfish mac and cheese, and pimiento cheese. Everything was tasty - the standouts for me were the mac and cheese and the fries - the beef was optional and I definitely recommend going with it. The hush puppies were a little too bready for me (that might be my lack of eating them talking), but they came with a blueberry compound butter which was a nice touch. The pimiento cheese came with saltine crackers which was...a choice, but the cheese itself was good. For my main I went with the fried shrimp po' boy - this was quite massive and contained a lot of shrimp (not complaining). The bread was soft and it was paired with a creamy aioli and pickles - kinda messy but well worth the extra napkins. You could add fries for $4 (oof), but I opted not to which in retrospect was a good idea because the sandwich was filling enough. For dessert we went with beignets (shocking I know) in two varieties: classic powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar. Both were tasty - I mean it's fried dough so how bad can it be. The cinnamon ones came with a chocolate sauce which was a nice complement. Service was great - from the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and all of the staff we interacted with afterward were very friendly. Food also came out at a good pace which is always a plus. Overall, I had a great experience at Crawdaddy's. While I don't run to this type of cuisine, they are serving good food here. If I ever found myself here again I wouldn't complain.

It was most unusual that our party of four all ordered the same. We started with a special app - Fried Shrimp & Calamari. Soo Delish! We followed with the signature dish, Cod Fish & Chips. I have had this entree in, I'd estimate, 50 restaurants, including several in England where I think it originated. NONE even come close to here! Oh My - the two big, thick pieces of lightly battered fresh cod fried to perfection! Flaky, moist and delectable. It just doesn't get any better! Wow! The fresh, hand-cut thick fries were again fried to perfection. Golden crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. I don't know what there secret frying technique is or the type of oil they use but the flavor is light and delicious. Even their homemade coleslaw tastes like they just made it - so fresh with a little tang - Mmm! We ended with a very unique lemon flan, even though we all said we couldn't eat another thing. Overall, portions are generous (we took home some left overs!), service staff were friendly and attentive, and the Owner & Head Chef, Elmer came out to check on us and tell us some of his culinary encounters with blue fin tuna. Fascinating! A most enjoyable meal and experience. If you've never been, What the heck are you waiting for!
