The price was way more than I was expecting. $35 per shirt and $55 for the dress for a total of $115, which was lowered to $104 since I took advantage of the 10% discount with Zelle. This price was really high and almost twice as much what I usually pay for similar work. As for the work itself. The tailoring on one of the shirts was fine, the other shirt didn't seem to be tailored at all, and the dress was taken in at the wrong places - so much so that it's now tight in places that it shouldn't be. I also didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer both during the alteration process and during pick up. My interactions varied between being wholly ignored (standing in the middle of the show room in my dress to be altered for a while before being acknowledged) to being stared at by a worker while the tailor retrieved my items. Overall, the search for a quality tailor with reasonable pricing in Los Angeles continues.

They wanted to charge me 50 bucks to replace the elastic in the arms of dress and we're not talking intricate it's just elastic and you know the dress originally was probably about $300 but I got it on sale for like 25 so now I'm not gonna pay that much... Same for the other two dresses they were extremely outrageously expensive. I'm sure I can get all three of them done for under $40 somewhere so if you're looking for a good value, I'd say keep on looking.

I then reached out to their customer service and the person continuously said they would not refund me even though I showed them where their website was lacking to share their available alterations to their customers. I'm so bummed, I feel like I was stolen from because they are severely lacking with the needed information to make an appointment. It seems that their business model is to steal video call fees from clients because the person who was "helping" me was firm even after showing how they gave no information for me to know better about what services they were offering. Highly would not recommend using this service online at least. Go to your local tailor who will actually treat you like a person and not steal money from you for 0 services.

The…read moreritual is the same every time: you try the piece, the master kneels down and pins where he knows the work must be done, and the master lady (his wife) takes notes to calculate the cost. He barely speaks English, but he is kind and sweet and wise. Not even once he missed a spot, suggested a wrong idea, showed off or felt pretentious. For me, he is a master of the craft. I've been around, I have known many tailors, and this man is one of my very favorites. He finishes pinning, and he leaves gracefully, leaving the wonder woman to finish the accounting. There is always a SRP. She always asks for when do you need the work. They have A LOT of work, and they have a back room where many people work. If you are in a hurry, they deliver, at an added percentage. If you pay cash, "Cash is King" (her own poetic words), you get a better price. Every time they delivered the work in time. You can try the fixed pieces, and he makes sure you feel great and happy. Every time, I felt cared for and respected, almost pampered. There is the son, too. Maybe more than one working at the back. The son I know is fun, respectful and kind. Every other team member who I knew were always efficient and nice to deal with. I'm almost hoping to have another clothing item to bring to them to work their magic. I highly recommend this experience. It's, hands down, one of my favorites in LA.

I walked in there to get just a little over an inch sewed because the slit on my dress was way too high. I wanted about an inch maybe an inch and a half sewed. He told me $15 and I politely said can I have it for $10 because it was something that I know was going to take him only five minutes to do. He very rudely took the pin off where he was going to sew it to and told me you could go and turned his back on me. That is not how you treat a customer. Instead, he could have politely said, sorry but that's all I can offer. Then if I choose to say no then I say no, you don't just tell me you can go and turn your back on me. Very disappointed!

He then charged me for the extra repairs. On the positive, he did find a new lace to replace the section removed. The work was nice quality. But a huge mess to manage as a bride. I was not in a hurry. He scheduled my pick-up for just over 3 weeks from the consultation, and it was completed as scheduled.
