Brought me Peacoat in for a cleaning. i also wanted both pockets replaced, the label tag secured, tear in the lining fixed, and buttons checked. Cleaning: Still major pilling, and looks like it really hasnt been through anything. to be fair, he told me when i was picking up that he couldn't clean it...ok...so its not a cleaning place... IT SMELLS TERRIBLE terrible! it smells like perfume! I can guarantee it smelled like coffee and cigarettes when i brought it in...now i have to air dry it on my balcony to get out some of the babushka perfume. Label: Literally cant believe this one: only the top of the label is secured with a stitch that can only be described as "mobius". I should have just done it myself, and i cannot sew. Looks like I did it, or at the very best, was done at close of day. bottom half is still loose! Lining tear: ok i think they fixed the one i pointed out. It feels like it was done hasty, now the lining is a little more "taut" then usual. but there was another tear i didnt see in the other arm. Cant really fault them for not fixing something I asked them to fix, but really could have been a redemption if they had caught it. Pockets: Pockets are fine and same size, thats what i wanted. Buttons: I guess the buttons are fine, I dont think they fixed any of them probably just looked em over. same stitching as when i brought it in I can't believe how great the reviews are for this place. I came here for the first time and had several pieces to clean. It's a family-run establishment. The owners are a married couple and were nice and welcoming. The prices are on the expensive side. Suits cost about $20-22 to dry clean. Shirts and pants were about $10-11 each. I haven't compared this to other cleaners in the area, but it seems on the high side. My clothes came back looking and feeling good. One of my knit shirts seemed to have a discoloration on the sleeve that I didn't remember being there before, but because I don't know 100% if it was an old mark, I'm not gonna hold it against them. Just a quick shout out. I dropped my boots off for a quick repair and even though the owner said they would call when they were ready, I never heard from them for a week. I went to retrieve them and the staff member on the shift couldn't find my boots. He asked if I could return the next day. I could not. This place was wonderful I took one of my favorite Gucci shirts with a stain that's been their for 3 years and other cleaners couldn't take the stain off and ruined the color of the shirt but when I took it to elegant cleaners, they brought it back to life and removed the stain like it was never there. I had the most TERRIFYING experience at "elegant" cleaners. I brought my blanket around 5 pm only to be completely terrorized and in tears. I put my blanket down on the table to find a very large black man (around 250+ pounds) standing approximately above 6 feet. He begins screaming at me saying I need to wait my turn extremely loud, so I asked him if it was bothering him. Then he literally says "Fuck you bitch I've been here for 55 years." My friend Ivonne started asking him to relax and calm down. And I told him "I hope you have a better day" so he takes my phone and throws it on the ground. The owner did not have my back at all or defend me. I'm a smaller asian woman and I can't believe what I experienced. The woman who worked there seemed to have a little more sympathy. I called the police to file a police report and the owner said he wanted nothing to do with it. He continued to say that he didn't want to lose customers so he wouldn't say anything to the police. So I looked him in the eye and asked him, "if the police came, would you tell them what happened?" He said no. So instead of paying the $65 to dry clean my blanket, I took my blanket and left. And now I'm about to have a nice dinner. I pray for that man and honestly I am very distraught right now. If anyone recognizes this car or the back of this man please send me any info. read more

When I called to inquire about the prices the woman who answered the phone was very helpful courteous and sweet. I came in person to drop off two suits and also a pair of shoes. I wanted to see if they could fix the soul of some dress shoes. I drop the suits off on a Thursday and was able to pick them up on a Monday. Everything was done beautifully and they were able to get some stains out. They also fix the soul of a pair of men's dress shoes and polished. The cost to wash a suit was about $15. And to fix and shine the shoes was about $20. They made both pairs of shoes match each other and did a great job. read more
