They were always honest with expectations and clear if a stain might not come out. Recently I took my military uniforms there and they did an AMAZING job tapering the legs. For anyone that has had uniforms, they are all the same length and need to get hemmed which makes it tough for slimmer, shorter people. My pants were too wide at the base of the legs and it just didn't look good. They tapered the pants down so they fit better, looked more professional, and still within regulations. I had lost a bit of weight and the fit was completely off. The dress looked boxy and frumpy, and I honestly started to panic. Thankfully, I found Lina--the amazing owner of Alterations Et Al in West Hollywood. I reached out and she invited me to bring the dress in to see what could be done. She was so warm, kind, and professional--and even with the tight turnaround, she agreed to take on the rush job. The dress needed a lot of work, but when I picked it up, it fit like a glove. It looked flawless and felt like it had been custom-made for me. Lina is not only incredibly talented, but also fast, detail-oriented, and just lovely to work with.
