I got the medium Chicken Supreme BBQ pizza and it was so good. I personally really like BBQ pizza, but I feel like some places overdo it with the BBQ sauce. This place gets the balance perfectly right where you can taste the BBQ flavor without it being overwhelming. They definitely did not skimp on the toppings either. Every single bite was super flavorful and had plenty of toppings on it. I also really liked the crust. I'm not really a thin crust person and I like a bit more dough in my crust and this one was perfect for that. It had a nice texture and held everything together really well. They also made it really quickly, which was great. I didn't think I'd like the raw tomatoes on top at first, but they actually add a refreshing taste that cuts through the heavier BBQ flavors really nicely. I've driven by here a bunch of times, but have honestly never gone inside. This particular day, my son asked if I could pick up a pizza for him and I agreed. Just tried Checkers for the first time, and I was satisfied overall. Apparently, they've been in business for 30 years and are family owned. When I went to pick up my large 2 topping pizza, I used the manager special, and the total was $21 and some change. It has a very old school taste, but it's good nonetheless. It was a good combination pizza but not great. I was a fan of all the toppings except the sausage.You get the sausage from a place like The Garrett Station and replace it in this pizza and you have yourself a nearly perfect pie. The generosity of the toppings was considered in this review. With all the great pizza spots around here with perfect toppings all around my 4 star could've easily been a 3. On a good note the staff was friendly and polite and the establishment was very clean. When doing a review it all boils down to two things! Will I return again? Will I recommend this spot? This is our go to place for a good pizza that isn't expensive or one of this wood fire personal sized pizzas. They have consistently delivered every time we have ordered. I haven't tried any of their other menu items but the pizza has been good. It's a small spot in a small strip mall that has a laundromat and a smoke shop so there isn't much seating inside. A few small tables at most so definitely a grab and go spot. So glad they have online ordering cause when I'm in a pinch for dinner I can order when I leave work and get there in time to pick up a hot pizza.
