i've tried to like this pizza, i really have. i've had the thin crust and the thick and don't care for either. the pizza is dry and the toppingare skimpy, espcially considering the price. the crust is decent. eating this pizza is a lot like eating a homemade pizza at 4X the cost. read more

I don't have too much to say differently then other reviewers. Definitely a different type of pizza. The crust is super thin almost cracker like. Overall it was good. I agree with the other reviewers that the woman who answered the phone was short. Although, the guy at the counter was nice. It is a family run place their were kids there too. read more

I would love to leave zero stars. To start off my experience I arrived to pick up my pizza at the shop. Upon walking inside I almost had an asthma fit with the smell of mildew filling the entire building. Then I walked up to the counter to pay only to witness an elderly woman preparing Pizza. Was she wearing gloves? No, no she was not. She was literally preparing Pizza grabbing gobs of cheese and spreading it on along with raw meat all the while wearing no gloves or hair net. As I looked around at the other employees and activity going on in the kitchen none of them were wearing gloves. Or hair nets. I was asked my name on the order and after giving it no one said a single word to me until I paid 10 minutes later. There was no quote on time given or any other acknowledgement besides just asking what my name was. As I waited for my pizza I observed in the kitchen the handling of raw hamburger and sausage with no gloves. Pretty much everyone working there walked around like a zombie with absolutely no personality or customer service skills. When I finally inquired how long my pizza would be I was told 5 minutes. I left and came back after running to the gas station. As I returned, I was handed my $41 order for two pizzas. I got home and served my family what was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. In all of our lives. It was quite embarrassing to bring this back to my family to eat. The crust on the larger of the two pizzas was dry doughy powdery disgusting no flavor crust. This pizza in particular was an extra large Deluxe which we ended up leaving half of it uneaten. The smaller one was a thin crust and was severely overcooked. The best part about this is that we found a human hair and a very long insect leg cooked into the cheese of the larger pizza. We were so pissed off about spending so much money on such shitty pizza but I could not bring myself to call them to complain. Because I would have been extremely unpleasant. While I stood in that pizza shop waiting for my pizza to be done there were two or three other people coming in to collect their orders as well. And after reading all of these other great 4 and 5 Star reviews I have to question what is wrong with the people in Hilliard? This was disgusting, terrible. I'm sorry that we ever thought to give a local pizza place a try. Hands down the worst Pizza we have ever had, I would have rather had Tombstone or DiGiorno frozen pizza and spent a 10th of the cost. Btw the woman that was preparing the pizza walk down to the dining room to talk to a table and went back into the kitchen to prepare more pizza without ever washing her hands a single time. read more

It is the best pizza in town. I may be biased but it is delicious. the crust is thin and on the sweet side. Their everything (except anchovies) pizza is amazing, but you can't go wrong with plain cheese either. Their toppings are great, and if you pick up your order it only takes about 20 minutes. Worth the wait. If you go on Monday you can get a large one topping pizza for $9.95 and that should be enough for 3-4 people. read more

We tried this place on a whim as we drives by and my husband had been wanting to try it. The pop machine was broken, no problem, things happen. And they were giving complimentary bottles of water. But we waited about 50 minutes to get our small and personal size pizzas and when they finally arrived, one of them wasn't even right. They were pretty tasty, would've been better maybe had I gotten what I ordered. My husband wasn't a fan of the crust. Lots of kids around us were whining about when were they gonna get their food. So I wouldn't bring a hungry family here. Not the best pizza, definitely not the worst. Just takes a really long time and then you might not get what you wanted. I'm always a fan of local, family owned businesses.. They just need to step up their game a little. read more

I've been a patron of Luigi's ever since I was a little girl! Now as I raise my own family in Hilliard, Luigi's Pizza is our favorite Friday night treat! The cracker crust is unique and delicious and they have some incredible hot boneless wings! We always order pickup, so I can't attest to the speediness of their delivery services, but it should be noted that this pizza place is always hoppin', so give a little grace! The lady who typically answers the phone has done so for years and isn't necessarily "rude" as some reviewers have suggested, but simply takes a large volume of calls. Remember, when you order from Luigi's, you're not getting Donato's or Pizza Hut -- this is a family-run establishment and has been around for years! Overall, we LOVE Luigi's and will continue to get our pizza from them! read more

After 28 years of being a Luigi's customer that relationship has come to a startling and abrupt end . . . all over Luigi's staff writting down my wife's CC # on a piece of paper. My wife called in a delivery order and paid by CC. Luigi's called back moments later to say they had written the number down wrong because the payment didn't go through. When questioned why staff was writting CC #'s down my wife was told that's how they always do it! Really? Think someone might go though the trash and find a trove of CC #'s? My wife refused to give the CC # again and said she would pay by check. After 28 years of writting checks, Luigi's inform my wife they don't take them! So much for a relationship and never once having a bounced check. When I called to speak with the mgr., I was told he was too busy. Again, really . . . too busy to speak to a nearly three decade long customer? Hang on a sec . . . I'm ordering a pizza . . . but not from Luigi's! Be leary of fraud at Luigi's if paying by CC . . . and, if you call to speak to management, expect them to be too busy to talk. I'm heading to my coupon drawer to throw out any Luigi's coupons. After 28 years, I won't buy another pie from them. read more

Oh, no. Not good at all. The pizza arrived late and had a weird after taste. The crust was crispy , but the cheese was really greasy and I couldn't get past the weird aftertaste. Wings were really fatty. Shame, because I really liked the sauce that was on them. read more

The absolute worst and offensive staff ever. The delivery driver delivers the pizza, I ask for the receipt so I can sign and give a tip. He refuses to give me receipt. I say that I am just trying to give a tip, he says they always ask on the phone, which they didn't. And said if I was going to give a tip I would have on the phone. Again, they never asked. He then proceeds to be a complete jerk and not give me his name. I call the store and ask for a manager and the first person to answer says he is. I ask for the real manager and a another man answers. I say that I have a complaint and ask his name and refuses and hangs up on me. At this point, I haven't even tried to the food because I am so shocked at how they treat their clients. The point is their food could he devine, but how they treat their clients isn't even worth it.
